Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI di Perguruan Tinggi. Karakter-karakter yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada karakter-karakter yang dibutuhkan di abad ke-21. Seorang mahasiswa yang berkarakter akan mampu berperan serta secara positif baik sebagai pribadi, sebagai anggota keluarga, anggota masyarakat, warga negara, maupun warga dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian R&D dari Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan skala sikap. Teknik analisis data kualitatif merujuk pada tiga langkah dari Miles & Huberman. Sementara teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa jurusan di Universitas Negeri Medan pada semester genab Tahun Akademik 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini efektif mengembangkan karakter mahasiswa terutama karakter kreatif, kerja keras dan mandiri, serta efektif mengembangkan keterampilan berkreativitas Islami dan berdakwah virtual.  Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Model; Pendidikan Karakter; Pembelajaran PAI. Abstract This study aims to develop an integrated character education model in Islamic Education learning in tertiary institutions. The characters integrated in Islamic Education learning in this study refer to the characters needed in the 21st century. A student with character will be able to participate positively both as individuals, as family members, members of society, citizens, and citizens of the world. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach with the R&D research method from Borg & Gall. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and attitude scales. Qualitative data analysis techniques refer to the three steps of Miles & Huberman. Meanwhile, the quantitative data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. Research was conducted in several departments at Medan State University in the even semester of the 2018-2019 Academic Year. This study resulted in the finding that the integrated character education model in Islamic Islamic education in this study was effective in developing student character, especially creative character, hard work and independence, and was effective in developing Islamic creativity and virtual da'wah skills. Keywords: Model Development; Character building; PAI learning.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly modern era, on the one hand, progresses in various aspects of human life, but on the other hand also brings to the character and identity of the Indonesian nation, the waning of a sense of caring and social solidarity. Now egocentrism in the pattern of social relations in Indonesian society is increasingly visible, namely behavior that focuses on one's own welfare or gain at the expense of and at the expense of others. The development of social care characters must continue to be carried out, especially now that people's lives are increasingly difficult, the poverty gap is widening, and the crime rate is getting higher. Judging from the religious aspect, the attitude of social care will get 3 things, namely first, the road of sustenance becomes wide and open; second, being more sensitive to the life around us; third, get a reward. This study is a descriptive study to see the extent to which the development of social care characters in PAI courses. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire. The research was conducted in several departments at Medan State University in the even semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year. This study resulted in the following findings: 1. the development of social care characters in PAI courses has only reached aspects of knowledge (cognitive) and attitudes (attitudes). This can be seen from the development of social care characters in both aspects which are already in the good category. 2. The development of social care characters from the behavioral aspect (behavior) in PAI courses is still in the poor category, for that it is necessary to design various social action tasks in the community that are carried out by students so that they will get a very meaningful experience.

Abstract

Pernikahan beda agama menjadi topik yang terus menerus menarik perhatian Masyarakat Indonesia. Keberagaman agama dan budaya di Indonesia menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya pernikahan beda agama. Pernikahan beda agama sering kali menimbulkan permasalahan sosial, agama, dan budaya yang kompleks. Pandangan dan sikap terhadap pernikahan beda agama dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti agama, budaya, Pendidikan, serta pengalaman personal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif mahasiswa/i muslim Universitas Negeri Medan terhadap pernikahan beda agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan angket yang berisi daftar pertanyaan terkait pernikahan beda agama. Angket tersebut dirancang untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai aspek pandangan mahasiswa/i muslim Universitas Negeri Medan terhadap pernikahan beda agama. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian dilakukan analisis data menggunakan metode grafik dan persenisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden tidak setuju dengan pernikahan beda agama. Ini terlihat dari jawaban yang diberikan responden, yaitu responden Tidak Setuju adanya hak memilih pasangan hidup tanpa memandang perbedaan agama, responden Tidak Setuju bahwa pernikahan beda agama termasuk sikap toleransi, responden Setuju bahwa pernikahan beda agama dapat mengancam keutuhan agama dan keyakinan seseorang. Pendapat ini didukung oleh tidak adanya pernikahan beda agama di lingkungan keluarga maupun di lingkungan sekitar mayoritas responden.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang perlu dikuasai oleh mahasiswa di abad ke-21. Keterampilan berpikir kritis ini mencakup keterampilan mengidentifikasi masalah, memilih dan mengevaluasi masalah, mengorganisir masalah, serta mencari solusinya secara tepat dan logis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah PAI di Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket. Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa jurusan di Universitas Negeri Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan PAI di Universitas Negeri Medan telah berjalan dengan baik. Ini dapat dilihat dari keempat indikator berpikir kritis yang diteliti semuanya berada dalam kategori baik yaitu mencakup pengembangan kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis masalah, pengembangan kemampuan dalam mencari solusi untuk memecahkan masalah nyata secara kreatif dan logis, sikap dan keperdulian mahasiswa terhadap masalah sosial yang ada disekitarnya dan pengembangan kemampuan bersikap dan berpikir kritis. Namun demikian pengembangan model pembelajaran PAI yang inovatif yang membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa masih perlu terus dilakukan. Diantara model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa adalah model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek.

Abstract

Karakter mandiri dalam figur seorang mahasiswa sangat diperlukan, mahasiswa yang mandiri sangat erat hubungannya dengan mahasiswa yang memiliki sifat kedewasaan, karena sifat inilah yang menuntun mahasiswa untuk lebih mandiri dalam menghadapi setiap tantangan akademik baik itu tugas maupun non akademik. Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah salah satu pilar pendidikan karakter yang paling utama. Pendidikan Agama Islam membantu mahasiswa memahami serta membentuk karakter mandiri dalam dirinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembentukan karakter mandiri mahasiswa universitas Negeri Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif untuk menggali persepsi mahasiswa mengenai peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembentukan karakter. Pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara dengan mahasiswa yang terdaftar dalam program, analisis kurikulum, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam berpengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan karakter mandiri pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan. Mayoritas mahasiswa setuju bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam berhasil menanamkan nilai-nilai kemandirian pada mahasiswanya.

Abstract

LGBT identities can emerge at any stage of life. However, adolescents, particularly university students who are in the process of self-discovery, are often more susceptible to this phenomenon. This research was designed to analyze student perceptions of LGBT behavior, with a focus on the Islamic religious perspective. The study employs quantitative descriptive research methods, conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to a sample consisting of student representatives from each faculty at Medan State University. Out of a total of 46 respondents, the majority stated that LGBT behavior is forbidden according to Islamic teachings. The respondents believe that the presence of LGBT individuals in the campus environment can influence Islamic values. Students suggest that the LGBT phenomenon requires special handling from an Islamic perspective. Students do not support initiatives aimed at providing protection for LGBT individuals. They feel the need to strengthen rules and regulations in their environment to prohibit activities or organizations related to LGBT.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has become the most important part of the education curriculum in Indonesia, with the aim of increasing awareness and appreciation of the Islamic religion among the community, especially students. One of the most significant aspects influenced by PAI is the character of discipline. Discipline is the behavior of obeying rules and forming a series of behaviors, namely obedience, obedience, order and regularity. PAI can help students to know and appreciate matters related to discipline in Islam, as well as apply these principles on a daily basis. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the influence of Islamic Religious Education on the discipline of Medan State University students  The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The research sample was 30 students selected using the Convenience Sampling technique. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, namely percentage analysis. The results of the research show that the influence of Islamic religious education in forming disciplined character in students at Medan State University has role is important and has a significant influence in shaping students' disciplined character, so it needs to be optimized in the learning process at Medan State University.

Abstract

In Islam, debt is not just a material transaction, but also a moral bond that requires honesty, trustworthiness and responsibility. Lenders who behave well and wisely will be greatly rewarded. However, for those who refuse or fail to repay the debt properly, there is a great threat. Therefore, it is important for all of us to observe the Shari'a correctly in matters of debt. The problem in this study is the effect of debt on friendship relationships seen from the point of view of Islamic teachings, with a sample of 100 students of Medan State University. This research method uses a quantitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire analyzed using SPSS. From the results of the research conducted, it shows that the Sig value for influencing debt on friendship relationships is 0.000 <0.05 and the Thitung value is 16,729> Ttabel 1,985. So it can be stated that debt has a positive and significant effect on friendship relationships, so it can be stated that debt greatly affects friendship relationships.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the concept of Baitul Maal in realizing prosperity in Kasih Sayang Village, which is based on Islamic principles and Pancasila values to foster a civic economy approach in daily life. The study also explores how the community of Kasih Sayang Village cultivates a sense of citizenship through voluntarism that contributes to social harmony and well-being. The research utilized a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis employed interpretative phenomenological analysis with the assistance of the ATLAS.ti software for ease and innovation in research data analysis. Research findings reveal that Baitul Maal in Kasih Sayang Village serves as an economic center and an economicdesign reflecting unity, collaboration, development, and empowerment. The role of Baitul Maal extends beyond economic aspects. It integrates Pancasila values, citizenship spirit, and sustainability to propel the community toward holistic development and empowerment. The community of Kasih Sayang Village is grounded in three voluntarism concepts: teodical (reliance on God), ethical (contributing based on goodwill), and psychological (internal drive). Integrating these concepts creates a harmonious environment in the village, where spiritual, moral, and psychological values unite to achieve shared prosperity.
