<![CDATA[The Language Development Center (P2B) is one of the institutions under management of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This program has responsibility in strengthening Arabic language competence for all students. The standardization of Arabic language competencies is an Arabic language learning intensification program that is managed by P2B. P2B has made various efforts in improving student competence in Arabic, one of it is by reformulating the Arabic Language learning model, namely by implementing online learning using the E-edition Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) program. The Intensive Arabic Language learning program is done twice a week which are divided into two study groups based on the language competency classifications students. All Intensive Arabic Instructors have different learning strategies, adjusting the characteristics and competencies of their students in each class. As a final test is conducted using an online test called Final Online Test (FOT), It means to measure the results of the Arabic language learning that has been done. The type of this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis research, with deep interview, documentation, group discussion forum as data collection technique.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension of Arabic which is possessed by students of Middle School 10 Sleman in understanding reading texts because of the absence of a linguistic environment and active, so it caused a lack of interest and motivation for learning in the learning process. This study aims to improve reading skills in Arabic for 7th grade students of Middle School 10 Sleman especially in understanding reading texts by using the Index Card Match strategy in learning reading skills. With this research, it is expected to be able to help teachers in the learning process of reading Arabic skills and improve students' ability to read. In its implementation, this study used a quasi-quantitative approach with the Experimental method. To find out the extent of the effectiveness of the Index Card Match strategy in learning Arabic reading skills, the formula used is the t-test. This study resulted in differences in statistical calculations in mean values ??in the experimental group and the control group. For the experimental group reached an average of 81.28 and the control group 76.88. The value of "t" counts 2.335 and "t" table 2.042 so that "t" counts greater than "t" table, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and there are significant differences. From the results above the researchers concluded that the use of the Index Card Match strategy in learning Arabic reading skills was effective so that it could improve reading skills in 7th grade students of Middle School 10 Sleman.]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this study is the lack of creativity of teachers in using media in learning Arabic at MAN 3 Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the learning process of mufradât with picture media and find out the differences in learning outcomes of students in learning mufradât between experimental classes that use image media and control classes that do not use image media. This research is quantitative research and the type of research is experiment. Data collection is done by the method of testing, observation, and documentation. This experimental research was conducted with a pretest, posttest control group design model. The object used is class X IPS 1 as an experimental class and class X IPS 2 as a control class. While the data analysis technique uses independent samples t-test. The results of this study indicate that, there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. This difference can be seen from the average value of the control class posttest 66.312 while the posttest value of the experimental class is 90.125. Whereas the "t" Test of the experimental class and the control class posttest produced a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0,000 <0.05, which means that there was a significant difference in mastery of the mufradât between the experimental class and the control class, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted. The results of this analysis indicate that image media can be used as an alternative solution to improve the learning outcomes of students in grade 10 social studies.]]>

<![CDATA[The process of teaching Arabic in MTs Hasyim Ash'ari Ash-Nahdiyyah Sedati Sidoarjo is a traditional learning process, where the teacher uses the lecture method to teach speaking skills. The background of this research is the teacher does not have the appropriate innovation and model, while in the learning process requires the use of appropriate learning theories so that students do not feel difficulties and can obtain material more effectively and efficiently. This research uses quantitative methods. The data collection methods are: observation method, test method and document. As for the research sample, it was 22 students in seventh grade. From this study it can be seen an increase in kalam skills in students after applying the Fishbowl method. with the analysis obtained with the t-test: t_0 results are 9,088 and tt is 1,720 because t_0 is greater than tt then the hypothesis zero (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable.]]>

<![CDATA[The process of learning Arabic in MTS Darul Ulum Sidoarjo is still traditional and students find it difficult to understand subject matter especially listening ' and speaking. The purpose of this study are: (1) To find out the special skills and greetings of students of class VIII at MTs Darul Ulum Sidoarjo. (2) To find out the application of the PAIR CHECK model "by using the syam’iyyah syafahiyyah method to improve listening and speaking skills. (3) To find out the effectiveness of the " PAIR CHECK "model by using the syamiyyah syafahiyyah method to improve listening and speaking skills. The Results from this research is: the "PAIR CHECK" model using the syamiyyah syafahiyyah method to improve this skills is effective in improving listening and speaking skills' with with a t-count = 15 and writing skills with a t-count = 17. Hypothesis results using the T-test symbol indicate that t count > ttable means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is returned and the hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of this study analyze "The impact of teacher comments on the writing skills of eleventh grade students at Salafiyah Islamic Middle School, Tangulangin Sidoarjo". The results of the questions answer the question about whether there is an influence of teacher comments on the writing skills of eleventh grade students of the Salafiyah Islamic Middle School of Tungulangin Sidwarjo. Researchers used qualitative and descriptive methods. As for the method of collecting data by means of observation, interviews and documents. This research is presented in the form of reports and descriptions, then arranged in the form of descriptive research results in the form of interactive analysis. The results of data analysis in this study are that teacher comments with scribbles in the form of written justification comments and reinforcement comments have a positive impact on improving students' writing skills as evidenced by student worksheets]]>

<![CDATA[Low ability of students in understanding the vocabulary of Arabic one of them due to improper use of learning media. Similarly, in the fourth grader Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh, that is, there are many daily results of the Arabic language vocabulary students who are below average. Therefore, it is necessary to test the media that is deemed interesting for the students that is audio visual media. The purpose of this research is to uncover the influence of the use of audio visual media to the outcome of learning vocabulary Arabic in class four at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with the quasi-experimentation approach, the population of this research is the fourth graders at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. Researchers took them as samples using the total sampling technique, since the fourth class consisted of two classes, namely fourth grade A and fourth grade B. Learning in experimental classes using audio visual media, while the control class without using media. The result of this study is that audio visual media can affect the learning of the language Mufradat Arabic positively to students in Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh.]]>

<![CDATA[In the era of technology that continues to develop, the way to communicate also develops. One of them is the chatbot as a friend of human communication. This research examines a chatbot that can make users laugh or upset because of the uniqueness of its responses. That is SimSimi, an artificial intelligence. This research examines the extent of SimSimi can communicate effectively and efficiently. In answering this matter, this research analyzes in what topics the flouting maxims are mostly committed by SimSimi. The analysis process relies on the principle of cooperation Grice (1975). Further, each flouting maxims is explored about the strategy of violations that occur, by referring to the idea of ??Cutting (2002) about the maxim violation strategy. In addition, with SimSimi's multilingual expertise, this research also compares the differences in the frequency of flouting maxims by SimSimi in Arabic and English. Therefore, this research utilizes comparative studies using qualitative methods. The conversations analyzed were 40 conversations containing 4 topics. Based on 20 Arabic conversations, there were 32 flouting maxims. As for the 20 conversations in English, there were 30 flouting maxims. This shows the comparison of the frequency of flouting maxims in Arabic and English dialogue at 16:15. As for the strategies of flouting maxims that occurred, there are 10 kinds of strategies in Arabic dialogue and 6 kinds of strategies in English dialogue. In Arabic dialogues, the topic that contains the most violations of the maxims is the topic of religion. So it is with English dialogue. The results of the research show that SimSimi in English can communicate more effectively and efficiently compared to its use in Arabic.]]>

<![CDATA[The majority of Eighth grade students at Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya are weak in our Islamic scholarship. They have difficulty in composing sentences in accordance with the correct rules of writing Arabic. This study aims to determine how effective the use of the game "Fairy Tale Chains" to improve the maharah of students of the eighth grade of Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using data collection methods consists of methods of observation? tests? interviews? and documents by taking a sample of 40 eighth grade students of Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya. From this research it can be seen that there is an increase in our students' happiness after applying the game "Fairy Tale Chains". with the analysis obtained with the t-test: t_0 the result is 16.29 and tt is 1.699 because t_0 is greater than tt then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable.]]>
