Abstract

Learning strategies are one effective way to achieve learning goals. Writing skills are skills that are quite difficult to learn by students, especially in expressing thoughts in written form due to less mastery of Arabic vocabulary and difficulties in composing sentences using the correct Arabic rules. Therefore, the strategy of active knowledge sharing is used as a strategy that can improve students Arabic writing skills. This research was cinducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Assalam Bangilan Tuban by using class VII-B as the sample. This research method used in this study is a quantitative method using observation, documentation interviews, tests and questionnaires as data collection techniques. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of active khowledge sharing strategies in improving Arabic writing skills of Assalam Bangilan Tuban Madrasah Tsanawiyah students.

Abstract

The progress of a nation can be achieved through translation activities. The rapid development of science began with the implementation of translation institutions which later became educational institutions. In Indonesia, translation activities from Arabic to Indonesian are focused on religious texts, ranging from the Holy Qur'an, Hadith, and Interpretation to books on da'wah, morals, and Islamic thought books. There are several problems that are often faced by Indonesian translators, including regarding difficult translation activities, substantial differences between Arabic and Indonesian, the lack of mastery of the translator towards the recipient's language, resulting in symptoms of interference, and lack of mastery of the translator's theory of translation. For this reason, translating courses need to be taught at Islamic universities in Indonesia. Learning to translate in Indonesia aims to equip students with knowledge about the theory of translation and to provide students with experience in translating various types of texts, such as religious, scientific, literary, economic, and cultural texts with various levels of difficulty. To be able to achieve this goal, the translator lecturer must have theoretical qualifications, experience, and master the source language and language of the recipient as well as well as master the culture of both languages ??namely Arabic-Indonesian

Abstract

Arabic Intensive Program is an Arabic learning program that has been implemented by Madrasah Alsun. The program aims to improve the language competence of the Arabic Teacher Education (PBA) Study Program students whose language competence is still below the standard. PBA study program then cooperated with Madrasah Alsun Sidoarjo to hold Arabic Intensive Program through 'Pesantren Kilat' to improve the Arabic language competence for the students. Pesantren Kilat was held during the two-month semester break. This research used descriptive qualitative research with purposive sampling. The data collection techniques in this study include: Observation, Interview, Documentation, Triangulation and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The data analysis technique is Interactive Analysis model. In this model, there are three components: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. According to the results of the interviews conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the success of language learning, including the Arabic language, is not solely related to the competence of the teachers, but actually includes all the components such as capacity of the students, the teaching methods, the supporting media, the learning environments and students’ motivation. Various methods are often used to achieve the effectiveness of learning in the classroom, especially for the students with low Arabic competence

Abstract

Abstrack: Speaking skill in learning a foreign language is very important skill for every student to master. Poster session is one of the teaching methods that can improve students’ ability to speak a foreign language. Therefore, innovative learning strategies are needed in order to stimulate students to be more active and confident in speaking. This research was conducted at Mts Negeri Sidoarjo with class VIII as the sample. This study is quantitative research using data and numbers to collect data. Data collection techniques used in this study were test, observations, interviews, questionnnaires and documentation in obtaining data relating to research. The purpose of this study was to ind out how high the effectiveness of the application of the poster session method in improving the speaking skills o class VIII students of MTs Negeri Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Test is considered as something important in teaching-learning process for its use to limit teaching-learning process through its result. Basically, test is designed as an instrument which is useful to support learning process and to motivate students gaining a significant progress. In addition, test can be used as an instrument to evaluate students’ performance in learning a language. In some condition, a high correlation between language learning and language test may be lost. Speaking skill is known as one of language skill giving more attention on communicative competence. However, in fact, it is found that what is said by the speaker cannot be understood but by using sign language or other communication tools which is not discovered as language. Language test is useful to know students’ ability to communicate, and a discussion on language test especially speaking will be discussed in this writing. Since interview giving more highlight on the fluency and accuracy of speech, also the appropriateness of delivering ideas, it is chosen, in this research, to measure students’ oral language performance

Abstract

The book al-‘Arabiyah al-mu’â?irah is an Arabic learning book designed that Arabic learners can master how to communicate in various conditions using modern Arabic. This study uses qualitative methods that emphasize the nature of research, data that comes from the reality in the field. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observations, interviews and documents in collecting data to be able to find out more about the problem, so that a problem solving can be arranged in accordance with the needs of the respondents. This study uses purposive sampling, sampling taken with certain reasons. Sampling taken by researchers is students of college who never studied Arabic before entering the Sunan Ampel UIN Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the application dictionary used by the teacher as a teaching companion from the book al-‘Arabiyah al-mu’â?irah.

Abstract

The background of this study is lack of understanding student with Arabic thesis produced by students of Arabic Education department in IAIN Pontianak FTIK. Those problems arise because of the low understanding of the logical language rules between Arabic and Indonesian. This study was analyzed by calculating path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) there is no significant relationship between syntactic mastery and mastery of students majoring in PBA, path parameter coefficient between syntax and mastery of nahwu science of -0.148 with T-Statistics of 0.868 and P-Values amounting to 0.387, because P> 0.05, 2) there is a significant positive relationship between syntactic mastery and the ability to write Arabic student text because the path parameter coefficient value between the two variables is 0.524 with a T-statistic value of 3.626 and P-Values ??of 0 00, because P <0.05, 3) there was an insignificant relationship between the mastery of nahwu and the ability to write Arabic student text because it obtained the path parameter parameter coefficient between the two variables of 0.214 with a T-Statistical value of 1.2229 and P-Values ??of 0.221 , because P> 0.05, 4) there is a significant relationship between mastery of sint simultaneous axis with mastery of student writing skills because the total effect of Syntax mastery together with the influence of mastery variables on writing ability is 0.493 with T statistic of 3.197 with P-Values ??level of 0.002, because P-Values ??is <0.05, then H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of the method of discussion qiro'ah in learning Arabic to student learning interest in MA Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Surabaya academic year 2017-2018. Research Subject (respondent) is all students / students of class X MIPA in MA Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Surabaya academic year 2016-2017. Sampling technique in this research by using Cluster Proportional. Random Sampling technique was obtained by 52 students from population 110 students. Methods of data collection using questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis method used is a simple linear regression test using SPSS version 21 for windows. The research findings show that the method of qiro'ah discussion in Arabic learning has a positive and significant effect on students' interest in learning. It can be shown with the value of t count of 4.472, the regression coefficient (b) of 1.279, the significance value (p) of 0,000 (p <0.05) and the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.310 or 31% which can be interpreted that 31% students' learning interest in learning Arabic is influenced by the method of qiro'ah discussion, while the rest of 69% is influenced by other variables not included in this research.

Abstract

Teacher creativity and innovation are extremely needed in teaching Arabic material which is difficult for millennial learners to be understood, especially the competence in reading classical Arabic texts and tending to be stuck up in the understanding of qawaid. Therefore, this study aims to determine the process of using the PQ4R method and measure its level of effectiveness in improving students' reading skills in Arabic subject of class XI MAN 1 Kota Kediri. The method applied in this research is quantitative approach with experimental research model. The researcher used documentation, tests, and interview to collect the data in MAN 1 Kota Kediri in class XI. The data analysis used t-test with paired sample t-test. The result shows that PQ4R method is effective in improving reading skills, with the calculation result of pre-test score in the experimental class 66.08 and the control class 65.08 with a difference of 1.00. The results of post-test of experimental class 86.52 and 63.04 control class with a difference of 23.48, so the experimental class using the PQ4R method is higher than the control class. The data analysis used is t-test with the calculation of sig (2-tiled), with the result of sig (2-tiled) = 0.00, because the result of sig (2-tiled) 0.00> 0.05. So it can be concluded that the PQ4R method provides an easier way to comprehend Arabic reading texts.

Abstract

Maharah kalam (Keterampilan berbicara) adalah kemampuan mengungkapkan bunyi-bunyi artikulasi atau kata-kata untuk mengekspresikan pikiran berupa ide, pendapat, keinginan, atau perasaan secara lisan kepada mitra pembicara. Maharah kalam dalam konteks Bahasa arab merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang menjadi dasar utama dalam Bahasa Arab, sehingga mahasiswa wajib menguasainya. Namun, sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara Bahasa Arab yang mayoritas disebabkan oleh faktor ketidak percayaan diri mereka dalam berbicara Bahasa arab, kurangnya penguasaan mufrodat, dan lain sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, sebagai pengajar harus menguasai berbagai metode dan menggunakan beberapa metode agar pembelajaran menjadi efektif, salah satunya menggunakan metode Ta’bir Ash-Shuwar Al-‘Asywai atau dikenal dengan metode story telling menggunakan media gambar seri. Yang mana metode tersebut yaitu metode yang mendiskripsikan atau menceritakan gambar yang telah di susun dari gambar yang di acak. dan sesuai dengan observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, bahwa dengan metode dan media ynag diterapkan oleh peneliti terhadap mahasiswa semester III Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Aarab di IAIN Madura dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan berbicara dan meningkatkan minat mereka dalam pembelajaran maharaha kalam.
