Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries currently developing the concept of halal tourism. Halal tourism includes many variables that are related to each other, which need to be grouped into several main factors that affect tourist visits. This study was conducted to group the variables associated with halal tourism visits to Lombok Island using factor analysis and to classify sub-districts and halal tourism destinations on Lombok Island using the Plaid Bicluster algorithm. Based on the analysis using the main component extraction technique in factor analysis with varimax rotation, it can be concluded that the 9 halal tourism characteristic variables can be grouped into 2 main factors. Furthermore, by using the Plaid Bicluster algorithm, 2 Bicluster were produced. There were 7 sub-districts and 9 destinations formed in Bicluster I, and 8 sub-districts and 3 destinations formed in Bicluster II.

Abstract

Project management is a new thing with the development of two analytical techniques used for planning, scheduling, and decision making on projects to be carried out so that they can be carried out optimally and efficiently. These two analytical techniques are the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). Network optimization for the project is very important for the production of with "Aeta" brand Bottled Mineral Water produced by drinking water company in Madiun. This optimization is carried out in order to find out the production schedule of bottled water, there are 4 packages produced namely cups, 1.5 L bottles, 600 ml bottles, and gallons. After scheduling using the Critical Path Method, ie bottled water production will be more profitable if more products are in Gallon packaging. Because the Gallon packaging will save time this happens because the Gallon packaging does not go through cardboard packaging.

Abstract

Hospital care is one of the insurance products giving compensation to the members by reimbursing the medicine and hospital care costs. According to the number of members in one insurance policy, health insurance is classified into two categories namely individual health insurance and joint health insurance. This article discusses the monthly premium of joint health insurance. The monthly premium of joint term health insurance is calculated before deciding the probability to facilitate hospital care for two or more people using The RP-2000 Combined Healthy Tables and joint life annuity. Based on the simulation, at the same benefit, the monthly premium that must be paid for joint health insurance is smaller than for individual health insurance because the premium for joint insurance are borne by some insured under the same insurance policy

Abstract

This research aims to predict the growth of the number of poor people in every district and city in NTB Province of Indonesia for the next 10 years by using Holt exponential smoothing method. This type of research is quantitative research with input data used over the last 19 years with a measure of the goodness of models namely MSE, MAD, and MAPE. Based on the optimization results obtained the smallest parameter at α of 0.9 and β of 0.1, an average value MSE of 278005053.7, MAD of 9992.28222, and MAPE of 8.9374 Optimization results also provide information that the increase in the growth of the average poor population of 70206.6604 Certainly this result can be used as a guideline by the government in determining steps and responding to rapid response strategies in dealing with this poverty problem.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the mathematical model and predict the growth in the number of elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school students in NTB Province, using the Newton-Gregory Advanced Polynomial method. The result of simulating the predicted growth of the number of elementary school students in NTB in 2020 is 319565, with MAD at 353178, MSE at 1247346996840, MAPE at 68,655. Then for the predicted growth of the number of junior high school students in NTB in 2020 of 165141 with MAD of 1876271.7, MSE amounted to 3520395492220, MAPE amounted to at 1077.7039. Furthermore, the predicted growth of the number of high school students in NTB was 399679 with MAD of 44154, MSE of 19495757160, MAPE of 42.0719. while for the results of the simulation of predicted growth in the number of vocational school students in NTB in 2020 is 3738854 with MAD of 393779, MSE amounted to 15506190084.1, MAPE amounted to 49.2027. Based on the results of this study can state that Newton-Gregory Interpolation advanced by using GUI on Matlab, can predict the growing number of elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational students in NTB by using data on the number of students in 2009-2019 and obtained mathematical models of elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of store atmosphere on Hedonic Value and Impulsive Buying of Consumers at the Majapahit Food Center. This type of research uses causality research with a sample of respondents who are consumers who visited at Majapahit Food Center Mataram. The sampling technique used the accidental sampling technique. The study population was 100 visitors to the Majapahit Food Center. Sampling using the accidental sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale measuring instrument. The data analysis method used is a validity test, reliability test, using SPSS, and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results of the study stated that the store atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on Hedonic Value and the Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on Impulsive Buying and Hedonic Value has a positive and significant effect on Impulsive Buying Consumers in the Majapahit Food Center Study.

Abstract

There are various burial cultures in Indonesia, including the Chinese ethnic burial culture. What is interesting in almost all burial cultures is the cultural heritage that has been passed down through generations. The question is how actually the ceremonial Chinese ethnic funeral ritual is, and what the symbols in the ethnic Chinese funeral ritual mean. This research provides an answer solution. This research is a qualitative research. The results of the study concluded that before the funeral ritual is carried out, younger family members pay their respects to the older deceased. During the funeral ritual, the next of kin accompany the vehicle carrying the body to the burial or cremation site, on foot, if the burial place is relatively close, or by vehicle if the burial place is far away. During the funeral, flowers, offerings, food and burnt incense are served. The culture of the Chinese funeral ritual was based on belief as a form of human relations with the creator of life and also as a way to maintain the symbol of family or relatives with the deceased and to bear the sins of the deceased.

Abstract

Application of barrier options for determining insurance premiums for agricultural commodity prices due to lower selling prices by applying certain barrier levels. In determining the price of insurance premiums for agricultural commodity prices such as rice, the price is assumed to follow the Brown Geometric Motion and for the determination of the barrier level line the researcher uses the Brown Bridge Motion so that there is a relationship between Bridge and Barrier. In conclusion, we obtain a model to determine the number of insurance premiums. The barrier option model approach is used to construct a fairer formula for insurance premiums on agricultural commodity prices.

Abstract

In multivariate statistics, Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) for a data matrix containing outliers does not provide data that can be analyzed optimally. This study aims to overcome outlier data using the Robust Singular Value Decomposition (RSVD) method and compare it with the SVD method. The analysis using the RSVD method includes several steps, namely determining the initial predictive value of the vector u and regressing it then normalizing the estimator vector β and carrying out the iteration process until convergent results are obtained. The results of this study indicate that the RSVD for dealing with minor outliers data is not influenced by initial estimates. The RSVD method is strongly influenced by the large amount of outliers data, the more extreme outliers data, the more iterations are.

Abstract

The home industries in Lombok Island do not fully understand using internet technology in marketing their products. This study aims to see the effectiveness of the use of internet technology to increase the sales results of home industry products on the island of Lombok. Sampling using a questionnaire spread over 4 classes. Each class consists of 40 people. Furthermore, from the data obtained, a description, normality test, and homogeneity test were carried out. The method used in this research is the Wilcoxon test using the SPSS program. The results showed that after the training was held, there was an increase in understanding of the use of the internet as a means of increasing sales of home industrial products on the island of Lombok.
