Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness and work stress of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant employees. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were employees of the Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant, totaling 85 employees and the sample used in this study was 42 employees with the sampling technique used was incidental sampling. The data collection method used the hardiness scale from kobasa (1979), which was previously modified by Jimenez, Munoz, Hernandez, & Blanco (2014) consisting of 15 items and the work stress scale from Parker and Decotiis (1983) consisting of 13 items. The results of this study indicate a correlation, namely r=-0.458; p<0.05. This means that there is a negative and significant relationship between hardiness and work stress on Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen restaurant employees. The higher the employee's hardiness, the lower the work stress that will be experienced by the employees of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Bawen Restaurant and vice versa, the lower the hardiness, the higher the work stress.

Abstract

Generation Z are individuals born between 1995 and 2012, so they are in a transition between the academic world and the world of work. The difference between the two situations certainly requires good adaptability so as not to have a negative impact on their psychological well-being. This study aims to get an overview of career adaptability in Generation Z employees. Career adaptability is individual readiness to cope with job changes and work situations in a corporate environment. This research is a quantitative study by asking 64 participants to fill out 24 items of the Career Adaptability Scale (CAAS) questionnaire developed by Savickas and Porfeli (2012). Based on the results of data analysis, men (M=4.271, SD=0.528) have slightly higher career adaptability than women (M=4.250, SD=0.443). Ages 20-21 years (M=4.413, SD=0.395) had the highest and lowest career adaptability at ages 22-23 years (M=4.164, SD=0.499). Gen Z who work for 1-2 years (M=4.358, SD=0.466) have high career adaptability compared to those under 6 months (M=4.25, SD=0.444) and 6 months-1 year (M=4.160, SD=0.466).

Abstract

Ethnic diversity in Indonesia often causes interethnic conflict, including among students of different ethnicities. Stereotypes and prejudices can lead to conflict. In intergroup relations based on social identity, there are several factors that influence prejudice, including intergroup contact and intergroup anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between interethnic contact and interethnic prejudice mediated by interethnic anxiety in Javanese students towards ethnic students from NTT. This research was conducted using a cross-sectional survey design with a total of 386 students in the city of Surabaya as participants who were obtained by accidental sampling technique. There are three measurement tools used to collect data, namely the General Intergroup Contact Quantity and Quality (CQCQ) scale, the Intergroup Anxiety Scale (IAS), and the RIVEC Prejudice Scale which all have been adapted according to the context of this study. The data analysis technique used is the mediation test. The results showed that interethnic anxiety acted as a partial mediator in the relationship between interethnic contact and interethnic prejudice. Nonetheless, it was found that the mediating function of interethnic anxiety exerts a greater influence than the direct effect of interethnic contact on ethnic prejudice. The findings of this study can become the basis for the development of research and interventions to reduce intergroup prejudice.

Abstract

Nursing students at Ratu Samban University have low interest in joining organizations on campus. It is assumed that students have a negative perception of the organization. This study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of organization and organizational interest in students majoring in nursing at Ratu Samban University. The variables of perception and interest in organizing are measured using a scale. The subjects of this study were 50 students majoring in nursing at Ratu Samban University. The sampling technique in this study used a probability sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis using the product moment of Karl Pearson with the SPSS Version 20 for Windows program. Based on the results of the study, it is known that perceptions of organization have a positive relationship with organizational interest in students majoring in nursing at Ratu Samban University. There is a significant correlation (r.0.865 with significance <0.05) between the variable perceptions of organization and interest in organizing among students majoring in nursing, namely 0.000 and the significance value is below/smaller than 0.05, this means that there is a relationship between perceptions of organization and interest in organizing to students majoring in nursing at Ratu Samban University. The more positive the perception of the organization, the higher the interest in organizing and conversely the more negative the perception of the organization, the lower the student's interest in organizing. For students majoring in nursing, perceptions of organization have the most negative perceptions with a contribution of 46% and interest in organizing has the most low-level categories with a contribution of 56%.

Abstract

Quality of work life is a concept of how to appreciate the competence and performance of employees in the organization. The quality of work life is very important in increasing the contribution of employees to the organization. This study aims to determine the differences in the quality of work life between DTPNS and DTNPNS at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The quality of work life has an important role for lecturers in carrying out the duties of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The subjects of this study were 90 people. Sampling research using accidental sampling technique. The data collection method uses a quality of work life scale (Swamy, et al, 2015) with aspects of quality of work life, namely: (1) work environment; (2) organizational culture and climate; (3) relations and co-operation; (4) training and development; (5) compensation and rewards; (6) facilities; (7) job satisfaction and job security; (8) autonomy of work; (9) adequacy of resources. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test, the average variance for PNS lecturers (DTPNS) is greater than the average variance for non PNS lecturers (DTNPNS), namely 180.11 > 157.71 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it shows that there is a difference in the quality of work life for DTPNS and DTNPNS at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.

Abstract

Abstrak : Harga diri dan kecemasan sosial menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku ghosting. Individu dengan harga diri rendah cenderung akan mengakhiri hubungan karena penghindaraan dan tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan keterikatan. Sementara individu dengan kecemasan sosial tinggi tidak dapat mempertahankan hubungan karena individu cenderung tidak dapat menerima evaluasi dari orang lain. Hal tersebut menyebabkan berakhirnya hubungan yang mengarah kepada perilaku ghosting. Perilaku ghosting umumnya terjadi pada pengguna aplikasi kencan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran harga diri dan kecemasan sosial terhadap perilaku ghosting pengguna aplikasi kencan. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 203 emerging adults (18-25 tahun), melakukan ghosting 6 bulan sebelum penelitian dilakukan, pengguna aplikasi kencan. Metode penelitian yaitu kuantitatif korelasional. Berdasarkan hasil analisa pada uji korelasi variabel harga diri dan perilaku ghosting menghasilkan r(203)= -0.356, p= 0.000 < 0.05 artinya terdapat hubungan negatif. Namun pada variabel kecemasan sosial terhadap perilaku ghosting menghasilkan r(203)= 0.068, p= 0.334 > 0.05 artinya tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan. Uji regresi berganda dilakukan untuk melihat peran harga diri dan kecemasan sosial terhadap perilaku ghosting, menghasilkan p= 0.286, R= 0.363, R 2 = 0.132. Hasil menunjukan bahwa harga diri dan kecemasan sosial berperan sebesar 13.2%. Implikasi penelitian untuk membuat kesadaran atas perilaku ghosting sehingga dapat mencegah. Kata Kunci: Perilaku ghosting, harga diri, kecemasan sosial, aplikasi kencan Abstract : Increasing self-esteem and social anxiety are factors influencing ghosting behavior. Individuals with low self-esteem tend to end relationship due to avoidance and unfulfilled attachment needs. Meanwhile, individuals with high social anxiety cannot sustain relationship because they tend to struggle with accepting evaluation from other. This leads to the termination of relationships that culminate in ghosting behavior. Ghosting behavior is commonly observed among user of dating app. This study aims to examine the roles of self-esteem and social anxiety in the ghosting behavior of dating app users. The participants in the study were 203 emerging adults (18 – 25 years old) who had engaged in ghosting 6 month prior to the study and were users of dating apps. The research method employed was quantitative correlational analysis. The analysis of the correlation between self-esteem and ghosting behavior yielded r(203)= -0.356, p= 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a negative. However, the correlation between social anxiety and ghosting behavior resulted in r(203)= 0.068, p = 0.334 > 0.05, suggesting no significant correlation. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to explore the roles of self-esteem and social anxiety in ghosting behavior, yielding p= 0.286, R = 0.363, R 2 = 0.132. The findings indicate that self-esteem and social anxiety collectively account for 13.2% of variance in ghosting behavior. The remaining 86.8% is influenced by factors beyond the predictor variables. The implication of this research including raising awareness of ghosting behavior to facilitating preventive measures. Key word: ghosting behavior, self-esteem, social anxiety, dating app

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of the study was to determine whether there is a relationship between transformational leadership style and psychological well-being of permanent employees of the production department who work at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. This research uses quantitative methods and descriptive statistical analysis, with pearson product moment techniques. Determinant of non-probability sampling technique with a total sample of 83 permanent employees of the production department at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. The measuring instruments used in this study were the mulmultifactor leadership scale developed by Bass and Avolio (1995) and the psyho logical well-being scales developed by Ryff (1989). The results of the analysis were obtained with a number of 0,435 and a significance value of 0.000 (< p 0.05), meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership style and psychological well-being in permanent employees of the production department at PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya in Ampel, Boyolali District. This means that the higher the transformational leadership style, the higher the psychological well-being, conversely, the lower the transformational leadership style, the lower the psychological well-being. Keywords: Transformational leadership, psychological well-being, production department Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan para karyawan tetap bagian produksi yang bekerja di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisa statistik deskriptif, dengan tehnik pearson product moment. Penentu teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 83 karyawan tetap bagian produksi di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mulmultifactor leadership scale yang dikembangkan oleh Bass dan Avolio (1995) dan psyhological well-being scales dikembangkan oleh Ryff (1989). Hasil analisa diperoleh dengan angka 0,435 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< p 0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada karyawan tetap bagian produksi di PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya di Ampel Kab. Boyolali. Artinya semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin tinggi pula kesejahteraan psikologis, sebaliknya semakin rendah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin rendah juga kesejahteraan psikologis. Abstract

Abstract : The work engagement of Indonesian National Police can provide a good performance to organization. One of the factors that can improve hope towards work engagement of Indonesian National Police is the style of leadership. Therefore, aiming to identify the influence of authentic leadership over work engagement, this study applies hope as the mediator variable. Using non-experimental quantitative as the research design, the subject involves 163 members of Sabhara Division of Indonesian National Police performing purposive sampling. The instrument of work engagement data collection is measured using Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17), authentic leadership using Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ), and hope using the Adult State Hope Scale (ASHS). The data is analyzed using Mediated Regression Analysis (MRA) process by Hayes. The result shows that (1) authentic leadership positively impacts on work engagement, (2) authentic leadership positively impacts on hope, (3) hope positively impacts on work engagement, and (4) hope performs as the mediator of the influence of authentic leadership on work engagement. Keywords: authentic leadership, hope, work engagement. Abstrak : Work engagement anggota Polri dapat memberikan performa organisai yang lebih baik. Gaya kepemimpinan di organisasi merupakan faktor yang meningkatkan hope terhadap work engagement anggota Polri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara authentic leadership terhadap work engagement dengan hope sebagai variabel meditor. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non eksperimental. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota Polri Divisi Sabhara berjumlah 163 anggota kepolisian, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data work engagement diukur menggunakan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17), authentic leadership diukur menggunakan Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ), dan hope diukur menggunakan The Adult State Hope Scale (ASHS). Data dianalisis menggunakan Mediated Regression Analysis (MRA) process oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan (1) authentic leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap work engagement (2) authentic leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap hope (3) hope berpengaruh positif terhadap work engagement (4) hope berperan sebagai mediator pengaruh authentic leadership terhadap work engagement. Abstract

Abstract :The fraudulent behaviour of an employee in the company is an act of corruption by using the profits obtained for personal interest and not distributing them to other parties who should also gain, the exploitation of the assets of the employee using the company's facilities. Then the research was carried out with the connection between job satisfaction and the intensity of fraud in the service officers in the City of Palembang. This research population is a staff member of the Palembang tax service with a total of 370 staff members of Palembang's service with purposive sampling techniques. The results of simple regression research using the SPSS program showed a coefficient of staff member palembang with the number of subjects as many as 370 staff member Palembang obtaines with the Purposive Sampling technique.The results of the analysis show that there is a very defining relationship between job satisfaction and the intensity of fraud in the service staff in Palembang City. Keywords: job satisfaction, fraud intensity, service Abstrak : Perilaku kecurangan dalam perusahaan yang terjadi dilakukan pegawai yaitu tindakan korupsi dengan cara menggunakan sendiri keuntungan yang didapat demi kepentingan pribadi dan tidak membagikan kepada pihak lain yang seharusnya juga mendapatkan keuntungan, penyalagunaan asset pegawai yang memanfaatkan fasilitas perusahaan. Perilaku kecurangan terjadi disebabkan kareha ketidakpuasan yang diperoleh dalam pekerjaan yang diterima selama bekerja. Maka dilakukanlah penelitian dengan adanya hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan intensi kecurangan pada pegawai pelayanan di Kota Palembang. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan pegawai pelayanan di Kota Palembang dengan jumlah 370 pegawai pelayanan di Kota Palembang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian regresi sederhana menggunakan program SPSS menunjukkan koefisien pegawai palembang dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 370 pegawai palembang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian regresi sederhana menggunakan program SPSS menunjukan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,961 koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,923 serta nilai p=0,000 p<0,05.Hasil Analisa menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat sifnifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan intensi kecurangan pada pegawai pelayanan di Kota Palembang. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to establish the correlation between the level of social media usage and internet addiction among students at Bina Darma University, exploring the contributing factors and negative consequences of internet addiction on afflicted students. The hypothesis posits that there exists a connection between the intensity of social media usage and internet addiction among Bina Darma University students. The research employs a mixed-method approach, with a sample size comprising 226 students from Bina Darma University, and three students participating in interviews. Data collection utilizes purposive sampling, and the measurement tools include the social media usage intensity scale and the internet addiction scale. The analytical method applied in this research involves simple regression analysis. The findings reveal a highly significant relationship between the intensity of social media usage and internet addiction in Bina Darma University students, indicated by a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.205, a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.042, and a p-value of 0.002 (p<0.001) in the simple regression test. Keywords: analysis, intensity, social media, internet addiction Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi korelasi antara tingkat intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan adiksi internet pada mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi faktor penyebab dan dampak negatif dari adiksi internet pada mahasiswa yang terkena dampaknya. Hipotesis penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan adiksi internet pada mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode kombinasi (Mixed Method). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 226 mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma, sementara tiga mahasiswa diwawancarai sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan menggunakan skala intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan skala adiksi internet sebagai alat ukur. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan adiksi internet pada mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,205, koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,042, dan nilai p = 0,002 (p<0,001) pada uji regresi sederhana.
