The development of the industrial world from the manufacturing sector must always be carried out by each manufacturing company so that the products marketed are not dead in the market because they are less competitive than their competitors. This is what drives companies to always supervise and make improvements to improve the quality of the products produced. PT.XYZ is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the national steel industry whose main activity is producing concrete reinforcement steel with the main raw material being hot billets. In carrying out its production, PT.XYZ is not uncommon to find the products that are rejected due to defects. This research was conducted to analyze the number of defective goods produced with the aim that the quality of the products obtained increases and the level of income obtained is more leverage using the Six Sigma method. Cause and effect diagrams (fishbone diagrams) and Pareto diagrams are also used in this study to determine the causes of existing problems and the scale of priority problems that must be solved first. Based on the calculation of the percentage of damage, it can be concluded that there are four cases of the highest defect products, namely: 63.93% non-standard length, 15.51% ear defects, 12.67% digestion, and 7.9% cracking. At the end of this study, the results show that the capability and sigma value of company performance in improving product quality amounted to 7916.2 DPMO with a sigma value of 3.916.

Pemeliharaan bangunan gedung merupakan cara yang digunakan untuk mempertahankan fungsi dari gedung itu sendiri. Pemeliharaan bangunan gedung harus dilaksanakan pada saat pra-konstruksi, saat konstruksi hingga saat pasca konstruksi. Hasil dari pemeliharaan gedung akan dirasakan oleh pengguna gedung berupa rasa nyaman saat melakukan aktivitas di gedung yang dipelihara. Dalam analisis ini, variable bebas faktor pemeliharan yang digunakan berupa pemeliharaan plafond, pemeliharaan dinding, pemeliharaan sistem penerangan, pemeliharaan tata udara, pemeliharaan ruang kelas, dan pemeliharaan kamar kecil. Sedangkan variabel terikat yang digunakan berupa kenyamanan beraktivitas mahasiswa. Data didapatkan dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Kalimantan sebanyak 50 orang secara acak. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi liniear berganda dengan program bantuan software SPSS. Hasil analisa variable-variabel pemeliharaan bangunan berpengaruh terhadap kenyamanan beraktivitas mahasiswa sebesar 49,7%. Variabel pemeliharaan yang paling dominan terhadap kenyamanan beraktivitas mahasiswa adalah variable pemeliharaan kamar kecil dengan nilai beta sebesar 0,120

Optimal controls have been applied in this time. One of simple optimal control which will be analyzed in this research is planar arm model dynamic. The planar arm model dynamic consists of joint angles consisting of shoulder joint and elbow joint, angle velocities, and joint torquest due to passive muscle forces. There are control inputs from six muscles in the system. In this research, from planar arm model, it will be designed optimal control using Linear Quadratic Tracking (LQT). The objective function of planar arm model is we will minimimize two angles consisting of shoulder joint and elbow joint. In LQT, the value of performance index depends on the weight matrices so that we should optimize the weight matrices. In this research, the optimization of weight matrices in planar arm model will be applied by Simulated Annealing. The Simulated Annealing method is based on the simulation of thermal annealing of critically heated solids. Based on simulation results, Simulated Annealing can optimize the weight matrices in LQT so that it results optimal performance index with angle as state solution can follow the reference and we also obtain optimal controls from six muscle forces applied.

Electric motors today have become an important part in technological developments. One type of electric motor that has been and continues to be developed at this time is brushless direct current (BLDC). BLDC is generally applied as an actuator on electric vehicles. The development of electric vehicles make BLDC motor more varied. This research analize the influence of air gap distance on the design performance of BLDC motor with exterior rotor type. The BLDC motor has rated voltage 48 V and input current 23A.

Increase in the number of vehicles, especially cars can increase the chances of accidents. Accidents happen because caused by several factors, including human error, environmental and technical vehicle. Human error factor caused by the driver of the vehicle less focus so less appropriate in decision making at the time of driving. Therefore, vehicles that have technology that can reduce the occurrence of accidents. One technology of a potential car vehicle to be developed in order to reduce the number of accidents is the technology of the brakingsystem. Car braking system is the most important safety system that it has. This paper provides an automatic car braking system using Mamdani Fuzzy Logic Control. This car braking system consist of two inputs and one output. Inputs are car position and car velocity. Car position represents the distance of the car from the obstacle detected and velocity represents the velocity of the car towards the obstacle. This output is brake that represents the car force to stop the car. The inputs use five membership funtions and the output use three membership functions. The car braking system designed uses twenty five rules. Performance analysis of the braking system is carried out on the braking system's ability to avoid obstacles. The result is the vehicle can brake at a distance 30m vehicle from the obstacle. The vehicle braking system began to brake the vehicle at 2.5 s with 9263 N up to 3.7 s.

Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh adanya penggunaan Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sebagai material yang digunakan dalam pembuatan frame kursi roda. Kursi roda ini dikhususkan pada anak-anak, dimana berat badan anak dan berat robot kursi roda tidak melebihi 23 kg. Pipa PVC yang digunakan adalah jenis AW, schedule 40, dan schedule 80. Diameter pipa dibatasi pada diameter ½ in,3/4 in,1 in,1 1/4 in untuk masing-masing jenis pipa PVC. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan dimensi dari pipa PVC yang aman digunakan pada bobot yang telah ditentukan, berdasarkan analisis defleksi. Batas defleksi yang diizinkan untuk penggunaan pipa ini sebesar 0.938mm. Metode pendekatan teoritis dan menggunakan program simulasi LISA digunakan pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi pipa yang aman digunakan adalah pipa PVC jenis schedule 40 dan schedule 80. Defleksi PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 40 berdasarkan perhitungan teoritis sebesar 0.7614 mm dan 0.7610 mm berdasarkan simulasi LISA. Sedangkan PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 80 memiliki defleksi sebesar 0,6131 mmberdasarkan perhitungan teoritis, dan 0,6128 mm didapatkan dari hasil simulasi LISA. Dari penelitian ini, dipilih Pipa PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 40 sebagai material dalam perancangan dan pembuatan frame kursi roda.

Saat ini, media daring sangat berperan dalam penyampaian informasi. Karenanya, banyak organisasi yang bermigrasi dari media cetak ke media daring yang salah satunya adalah website. Pengalaman pengguna dapat menjadi tolok ukur penerimaan terhadap suatu website Jika pengguna mengalami ketidaknyamanan dalam menggunakan suatu layanan sistem maka sistem tersebut akan sulit untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak pengguna dan berpotensi gagal. Website Dinas Ketenagakerjaan (DISNAKER) Kota XYZ merupakan website yang dikelola DISNAKER Kota XYZ dalam rangka mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai tugas dan menyediakan informasi berkaitan lowongan pekerjaan di lingkup XYZ dan sekitarnya. Namun saat ini, website DISNAKER belum digunakan secara maksimal. Terdapat fitur dan tampilan yang masih terlihat acak dan menumpuk. Maka dari itu, dipandang perlu untuk menganalisis tingkat usability website DISNAKER Kota XYZ yang diharapkan akan menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan user interface yang lebih baik. Setelah dilakukan analisis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa user interface website DISNAKER Kota XYZ sudah cukup baik karena telah memenuhi 5 prinsip dari 10 prinsip teori heuristic evaluation. Untuk meningkatkan usability website maka diusulkan perbaikan pada sticky navigation bar, pemberian tombol back-to-top, nemapilkan berita yang up-to-date, hyperlink pada carousel slider, dan menampilkan informasi lowongan kerja terbaru. Crude oil is a complex natural mixture that is one of the main sources of energy for life. Oil pollution has unpleasant effects on the environment that can cause many problems for human beings, since the toxicity and carcinogenesis of oil compounds for living creatures and humans are obvious and proven. The oil-contaminated soils and waters are one of the most important environmental issues. Scientists have proved different ways to clean up oil pollution throughout history. In this research, ways to reduce and eliminate pollution of crude oil in the soil are going to be studied. The following methods are suggested : The use of electrochemical methods for reducing the aromatic contamination of crude oil, The use of biodegradable and synthetic detergents for the removal of oil hydrocarbons, bioremediation of soil contaminated with plants. Finally, by reviewing the results obtained, solutions can be found to clean up the pollution of crude oil from the soil, Because cleaning up crude from soil reduces environmental degradation.

In the transverse frame of the ferry ro-ro, there is a construction of the amplifier called the bracket contained on the car deck. The bracket construction functions to connect 2 (two) other constructions such as transferred deck beam and frame. The purpose of this study is to determine the strength of the bracket against the maximum work stress that occurs after being compressed. The method used is a finite element analysis with the help of finite element based applications. On the bracket, modulus optimization will be carried out to approach yield strength after being subjected to deck loads and ship side loads. The results showed that the solid bracket had a modulus of wsolid = 1485.168 cm3, while the cross-section modulus of the bracket with a circle hole diameter 60 mm w60 = 1463.973 cm3, a bracket with a circle hole diameter 70 mm was w70 = 1451.511 cm3, and a bracket with a diameter circle hole 75 mm is w75 = 1443.771 cm3. Maximum working stress that occurs in solid brackets is σmax solid = 92.0871 N/mm2, with holes 60 mm ie σmax d60 = 96.6237 N/mm2, and with holes 70 mm ie σmax d70 = 155.999 N/mm2, does not exceed yield stress (σmax < σy = 250 N/mm2). While the bracket tension with the hole 75 mm is σmax d75 = 272.861 N/mm2, exceeding the yield stress (σmax < σy = 250 N/mm2). So that the perforation on bracket construction can be done only on diameter sizes d = 60 mm and 70 mm. This information can minimize the use of steel material that has an effect on the ship's steel weight calculation.

Setiap organisasi perlu dalam melakukan investasi teknologi informasi untuk memastikan kinerja TI yang lebih baik. Namun, kebutuhan dana untuk melakukan investasi teknologi informasi tidaklah sedikit. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu analisis terkait investasi TI untuk memastikan kelayakan keputusan investasi TI. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan analisis investasi teknologi informasi pada Jumbo Swalayan Manado. Data-data untuk melakukan analisis akan merujuk pada penelitian oleh Rembang, Chandra S. dkk (2012). Dalam penelitian sebelumnya, telah dilakukan analisis untuk mengtahui keefektifan sebuah investasi TI, dimana digunakan metode Information Economics (IE). Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui kelayakan sebuah investasi TI menggunakan metode Cost-Benefit Analysis. Perhitungan yang akan dilakukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI) dan Payback Period. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proyek investasi teknologi informasi dinilai layak dan menguntungkan bagi Jumbo Swalayan Manado. Selain itu, 3 Bulan 9 Hari merupakan jangka waktu untuk mengembalikan dana investasi berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan.
