Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a change from childhood to adulthood. This causes problems, namely being overweight (obesity), underweight and wrong eating patterns. Nowadays, teenagers consume a lot of food advertised on social media, but these foods do not contain strong enough nutrients. Apart from that, the influence of the social environment, such as peers, plays an important role in unhealthy eating patterns. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between the role of peers and the use of social media on the eating patterns of adolescents at PGRI Kasihan Bantul Middle School in 2024. The research method uses observational research with a cross-sectional research design. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique. Results: Based on the research results, it was found that there was a relationship between the role of peers on eating patterns and a value of p= 0.031, and there was no relationship between the use of social media and the eating patterns of teenagers at PGRI Kasihan Bantul Middle School with a value of p= 0.096. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the role of peers on teenagers' eating patterns and there is no relationship between the use of social media on teenagers' eating patterns at PGRI Kasihan Bantul Middle School.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents are the next generation of the nation in the future, adolescents make up the majority of the world's population of 1.2 billion young people, nearly 90% of whom are in developing countries. The causes of nutritional problems in adolescence are direct factors such as food intake and infectious diseases. In addition, low knowledge of nutrition can lead to nutritional problems in adolescents, especially anemia and chronic undernutrition. Knowledge is the understanding of information about a particular topic, as well as the ability to receive, retain and use information. One of the media that can increase knowledge is flashcards, as one of the developments of visual media in the form of alternating cards that will be carried out by playing. Aim this research is to determine the effect of nutrition education through flashcards media on nutritional knowledge and adequacy of energy intake in Adolescent Children in Pontianak City Junior High School (SLTP). Methods: This study used quasy-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were adolescents of MTsN 1 and SMPN 12 Pontianak. The population in this study were all adolescent IX students totaling 189 people at MTsN 1 Pontianak, the number of samples was 44 people consisting of 22 experimental samples and 22 control samples, which were selected using purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques with direct interviews. The treatment was conducted for 8 meetings within 1 month. Results: The results of the average nutritional knowledge score between before and after being given nutrition education in both groups showed a significant increase, namely p-value <0.05. While the average result of energy intake between before and after being given nutrition education in both groups is 0.05 which means there is no significant increase. Conclusion: Providing nutrition education using flashcards can improve nutritional knowledge.

CED has an impact on increasing the risk of anaemia, bleeding, infection, risk of prolonged and premature delivery. Methods: Observational research with cross sectional design at Primary Health Care Paal X, Jambi City. Aiming to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women. The population of all pregnant women who did pregnancy checks was 164 people. The sample was taken by quota sampling as many as 61 people. Data collection using a questionnaire. Univariate analysis and bivariate chi-square test. Results: A total of 36.1% of pregnant women with CED. There is a relationship between education level (p=0.015), knowledge (p=0.032), occupation (p=0.045) with the incidence of CED. There was no association of age (p=0.775), and income (p=0.276) with the incidence of CED. Conclusion: Several factors are associated with the incidence of CED pregnant women, namely education, knowledge and occupation. It is hoped that health workers will improve the program of handling pregnant women with CED through nutritional needs counselling and early detection of factors that cause CED in pregnant women.

Abstract

Marriage carried out by adolescents affects the high birth rate, women who marry under the age of < 20 years have a longer reproductive span so it is advisable to use contraceptives. One of the efforts to increase the scope of contraceptive use is husband support. Early marriage is rife in Indonesia, especially East Java Province, which ranks third in the highest number of early marriages in Indonesia after South Kalimantan and West Java with a percentage of 10.85% of the total 64,211 cases in 2020. Indonesia faces problems in the growth rate that is still high but the quality of health is still low so that government policies are held through family planning (KB) policies. This study aims to determine the picture of husband support in the use of contraceptive methods in women with a history of early marriage

In the maternal age group ≥35 years, there were 3 (2.1%) pregnant women with high GDS at risk of GDM. In maternal gestational age, 3 (2.1%) pregnant women in the 3rd trimester with high GDS were at risk of GDM. In BMI, as many as 3 people (2.1%) of pregnant women in the obese category have high GDS results at risk of GDM. Conclusion: Suggestions, especially for pregnant women, should be routine to always do ANC during pregnancy such as checking blood sugar and maintaining a healthy lifestyle so that blood sugar does not increase.
