Abstract

Background: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death worldwide. Various complications threaten hypertension sufferers, including kidney failure and the development of atherosclerotic plaque, arterial occlusion, ischemic injury and stroke if it lasts for a long time. Hypertension sufferers experience a decrease in quality of life related to the inability to control blood pressure and the long-term effects of hypertension. Non-pharmacological and complementary hypertension management has attracted a lot of research interest to be developed and shown significant results. Complementary therapies that are carried out include increasing spirituality and religiosity, which are used to reduce stress, anxiety and depression that can cause increased blood pressure. Respondent recruitment begins with blood pressure measurement, after it is determined that the patient has hypertension, the researcher will determine whether it is included in the inclusion criteria: 1) able to communicate well, 2) systolic pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg. Exclusion Criteria: 1) patients who have comorbidities/Complications 2) Patients who are pregnant. After determining the sample, the researcher will provide questions through the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES) and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. Method : This study is a quantitative study using an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional approach conducted on the elderly population with hypertension at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center. The sampling technique is simple random sampling with a population of hypertension sufferers at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center totaling 5511 and the number of samples that have been determined is 212 people who are analyzed using Chi Square. Result: The results of the study showed that on average, hypertension patients had High Religiosity (75.5%), and High Spirituality (76.4%) and had a good Quality of Life, which was 79.7%. The results of the bivariate analysis found that there was a relationship between spirituality, religiosity and the level of quality of life of hypertension patients (P value = 0.000). Conclusion : There is a Relationship between Spirituality, Religiosity and Quality of Life of Hypertension Patients at Simpang IV Sipin Health Center. It is recommended that the Health Center provide education to increase spirituality and religiosity in Hypertension patients.

Data analysis uses the Ordinalyl Regression test. Results: The research results show a Goodness of Fit value of sig. 0.136>0.05 the regression model is appropriate or matches the observation data. Model Fitting Information shows the sig value. 0.000<0.05 which is significant shows how much influence variables X1 (susceptibility), X2 (severity), and X3 (benefits), X4 (barriers), X5 (cues to act), dan X6 (self efficassion) through consumption of blood supplement tablets with the highest R-square value, namely Nagelkerke, which means variable X is able to influence variable Y with a Z score of 50.7%

Abstract

Background: Breast engorgement caused by milk dams will result in reduced milk production. This happens because the venous and lymphatic flow is blocked by breast milk, hindering the process of emptying the breast. If this condition is not treated immediately, the potential for more serious health problems such as breast abscesses will be inevitable. Curd leaf and aloe vera gel contain tannin compounds that can act as anti-inflammatory, reduce inflammation, and pain due to breast milk obstruction. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of curd leaf compresses and aloe vera compresses on breast milk dams. Research Methods: This study applied a quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest treatment. Breast swelling scale assessment was carried out with the SPES table. The study population was 124 respondents with a sample of 30 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used an observation sheet. Data analysis used Wilcoxon non-parametric test and Mann Whitney test.. Results: The results of the study showed that there was a difference in breast swelling scale before and after being given the intervention of aloe vera compress and aloe vera compress. Mann Whitney test in the aloe vera compress group resulted in a mean rank of 20.60, while in the spare curd leaf compress group it was 10.40. Conclusion: Aloe vera compresses are more effective in overcoming breast milk dams than spare leaves compresses.

Abstract

Background: Incompleteness in filling out medical record files will result in the records contained being out of sync and the patient's previous health information being difficult to identify. This study aims to determine the completeness of filling in the patient's identity on the inpatient admission and discharge form. Method: The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The sample used was 237 medical records of inpatients in October taken by simple random sampling. Results: The research results showed that 152 sheets of the entry and exit summary forms were complete (64.14%) and 85 sheets of the entry and exit summary forms were incomplete (35.86%). The reason for the incomplete filling in of the patient's identity on the admission and discharge summary form is because the implementation of standard operational procedures has not been optimal. What the hospital needs to do next is carry out outreach regarding filling in patient identity and immediately implement electronic medical records. Conclusion: There are still incompleteness in filling in the medical resume for the identity of inpatients at Wangaya Hospital.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent anemia is likely to increase from 2007 to 2023 with various factors causing anemia, the main one being low iron intake. Supplemental intake has been carried out by government intervention since ten years ago, but the program has not been thoroughly evaluated in terms of knowledge, attitude and peer support factors on adolescents adherence to taking supplemental blood tables. Methods: The study design used was a cross-sectional study in which direct interviews were conducted using gform during school learning time. The sampling technique adjusts the population of women aged 15-19 who have menstruated with a total population of 140 students. Data processing and analysis used statistical software where characteristic data were presented in the form of numbers and percentages, followed by relationship analysis with the chi-square test. Results: The percentage of students who were not compliant with taking blood supplement tablets was 107 (76.4%). Determinant factors that have a relationship with adherence to blood tablet consumption are the sense of side effects (p = 0.009, PR = 3.14) and family support (p = 0.011, PR = 3.05), while the factors of knowledge, refusal, motivation, teacher support and peer support do not have a direct relationship with adherence to blood tablet consumption. Conclusion: Vocational school students have a low level of adherence. Factors supporting non-adherence were perceived side effects and family support.

Most tailors worked for 8-10 hours per day, with high category musculoskeletal complaints (71-91 on the NBM scale) more often found than the moderate category (50-70). Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between working hours and musculoskeletal complaints (p = 0.002 < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between working hours and musculoskeletal complaints in tailors at Pasar Lolak. It is recommended that tailors pay attention to working hours and working postures to prevent musculoskeletal complaints.
