Abstract

Learning achievement results are an indicator of the quality and quantity of knowledge obtained by students and see the ability of students. Every child has the ability to achieve good learning achievement, but in reality there are many obstacles that prevent children from achieving this. One of them is parenting and children’s learning motivation. Children who get the right parenting style and have good self-motivation will affect good learning achievement as well. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between parenting patterns and children’s learning achievement results at SDN Ciracas 10 Pagi and analyze the relationship between children’s learning motivation and children’s learning achievement results at SDN Ciracas 10 Pagi. Methods: This study used a correlational analytic design with a cross sectional approach, purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 66 respondents and respondents of 6th grade children and data analysis in this study using the spearman rank test. Research results: The results of the spearman rank analysis of parenting patterns with learning achievement results obtained a value of P= 0,000 (P<,0,05), learning motivation with learning achievement results obtained a value of P = 0,006 (P<0,05), it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parenting patterns and children’s learning achievement results (grade 6) at SDN Ciracas 10 Pagi and there is a relationship between children’s learning motivation and children’s learning achievement results (grade 6) at SDN Ciracas 10 Pagi

Abstract

Stroke is the third highest level of disability in the world. The prevalence ofdisability in Indonesia is 13.88% (4,270 people) with dependency levelsincluding 36.33% independent, 33.25% mild dependency, 7.10% moderatedependency and 9.43% severe dependency. Basic Health Research in 2018showed that DKI Jakarta was in 11th place with the highest stroke prevalenceat 12.2%. This research aims to analyzed factors associated with self-care inpost-stroke patients at RSIJ Cempaka Putih. This research used a quantitativeresearch design using an analytical study with a cross sectional approach. The Bivariate results show that there is a relationship between independentvariables including age, gender, education, physical domain, emotionaldomain and social domain. Multivariate results show that the most dominantfactors related to self-care include the social domain, education and age. Thefactors most related to self-care in post-stroke patients in this study are thesocial domain, education and age. The findings suggest health workers to beable to carry out holistic assessments (bio, psycho, social and spiritual)including exploring sources of support for patients in carrying out self-care,carrying out therapeutic communication and providing innovative groupactivities that can be carried out in stroke clubs

Abstract

Work fatigue in operating room nurses is a critical issue that affects nurse performance and patient safety. Nurses who are exhausted show symptoms such as reduced activity levels, decreased motivation, sleep disturbances and difficulty concentrating. This condition has an impact on the quality of work of operating room nurses and is dangerous for patients. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality among operating room nurses. This quantitative study utilized a correlational design, involving 20 respondents selected through a total sampling technique, comprising all operating room nurses at Karsa Husada Hospital Batu. Data analysis was conducted using a Spearman Rank Correlational test. The study found moderate levels of work fatigue and poor sleep quality among the participants. There is a significant relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality, with a p-value of 0.001 and r = 0.682, indicating a strong and positive correlation. This means that increased work fatigue resulting in poor sleep quality. Excessive activity in operating room nurses leads to work fatigue, resulting in poor sleep quality. It is recommended that operating room management adjust shift schedules according to worker capacity and provide adequate rest periods to reduce fatigue and improve sleep quality

Abstract

Every year, 15 million people worldwide have a stroke. Education using video that are thought to be simple for the elderly to grasp can alter knowledge, attitudes, and behavior among the elderly who are at risk of stroke. This study were conducted to assess the impact of early stroke preventive education videos on stroke risk in the elderly. The method was a quasi-experimental using a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This study was carried out by delivering an educational video intervention for early stroke prevention for three months and comparing the results to those of the control group or without the intervention. The population of this study was the elderly, with a sampling approach of purposive sampling and a sample size of 60 people at Posbindu in the Cipayung district. The data analysis test employed was univariate and bivariate, utilizing independent t-test to assess the effect of the instructional video intervention on early stroke prevention. The difference in the average score of knowledge (1.333; pvalue = 0.011), attitude (1.533; pvalue = 0.011), and behavior (0.466; pvalue = 0.028) in the intervention group before and after the intervention was greater than the difference in the average score of knowledge (0.233; pvalue = 0.165), attitude (0.166; pvalue = 0.484), and behavior (0.000; pvalue = 1.000) in the control group. Furthermore, the independent T-test revealed that the instructional video intervention was helpful in improving knowledge (p-value = 0.064) and attitude (p-value = 0.008). Early stroke prevention education movies improve the elderly's knowledge and attitudes.

Abstract

The background of this study is the prevalence of the elderly aged 64-75 with hypertension in 2023 is 57.8 percent, and the number of elderly is estimated to reach 29 million of the total number of Indonesians in 2023. Hypertension can endanger the life of the elderly because it causes various serious health complications. Anxiety as one of the factors which aggravate hypertension in elderly, needs to be controlled so that complications do not occur. Deep breathing relaxation and progressive muscle relaxation are non-pharmacological interventions that can be performed to reduce anxiety. The aim of this study was to find out whether the combination of deep breathing relaxation therapy and progressive muscle relaxation can reduce anxiety in elderly with hypertension. The design of this study is a quasi-experimental one group pretest-post-test design, because it measures the anxiety level of the elderly before and after therapy. The respondents consist of 30 elderly people in the Jatiwarna Village area, who were selected by random sampling method. Anxiety data was obtained using the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and dependent t-test analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that 93.3 percent of the elderly had mild anxiety before the intervention and became 100 percent after the intervention. The results of the bivariate test using the dependent t-test showed a p-value: 0.00 at a sig. value of 0.05 which indicates the effect of giving both therapies on the reduction of anxiety levels in the elderly with hypertension.
