Abstract

Transformers work around the clock to maintain the stability of power distribution to the community. If inspections and maintenance are not done, it will cause problems such as disturbances and damage, one of which is a disturbance in transformer insulation resistance caused by high operation factors, temperature, leakage current, and equipment age that can cause a decrease or damage in insulation quality. Therefore, it is important to do regular maintenance, one of which is through preventive maintenance as an effort to know the quality of insulation resistance on transformers. In this study, preventive maintenance was carried out which includes four methods, namely polarization index, tangent delta, breakdown voltage, and voltage ratio, which are useful for knowing the feasibility of insulation resistance quality with the established standards and next preventive steps. This research took data at Garuda Sakti Main Substation, the data included testing data from polarization index, tangent delta, breakdown voltage, and voltage ratio. The results of the discussion were obtained in transformer 1 and 3 were still within the allowed standard, but there were some parts of transformer insulation that experienced a decrease in quality and preventive maintenance needs to be done. The preventive maintenance step from the deterioration of the polarization index is that cleaning between windings is needed to minimize deterioration. In the breakdown voltage, further examination is needed, such as purifying in order to increase the dielectric strength of oil in the transformer.Keywords - Transformer, Isolation Resistance, Preventive Maintenance, Polarization Index.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of substituting of cat's tongue cookie in the formulations of red bean flour (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) and banana flour (Musa Paradisiaca Linn) on organoleptic characteristics and potassium levels. The design of this study was experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments. Organoleptic test results data were analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis test, if significant, continued with the Mann-Whitney further test. While the results of proximate levels, potassium levels and sodium levels were analyzed using an independent t-test. The results of the overall Kruskal Wallis test analysis showed that there were significant differences in each treatment (p<0.05). The results of the organoleptic analysis of the hedonic test showed that the selected formula cat tongue cookie was F3.2 (20:50:30). The proximate analysis results of the selected cat tongue cookies contain water content of 3.95%, ash content of 1.74%, energy 535.42%, fat 31.64%, protein 9.54%, carbohydrates 53.12%, potassium 475.84 mg/100g and sodium 192.11 mg/100g. The potassium contribution of selected cat tongue cookies was 475.84 mg/100g and 247 mg per serving (52 grams). The conclusion of this study was that the levels of potassium and sodium levels had significant differences (p<0.05) in each analysis. Sugesstion for this research need to analyze the biovailability of potassium, long shelf life and fiber content of cat's tongue cookies with the substitution of red bean flour and kepok banana flour. Keywords – Kepok Banana Flour, Kidney Bean Flour, Lidah Kucing Cookies, Potassium.

Abstract

Effort to replace increasingly limited fossil energy sources, new renewable energy (EBT) can be the right solution. This type of energy comes from natural resources that can be renewed continuously, such as wind energy. Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) technology can be used optimally in wind turbines. However, research on the efficiency of this technology is still not optimal in terms of reducing energy consumption, power losses and operational costs. Therefore efforts are needed to increase generator efficiency. The generator is the main component of converting wind energy into electrical energy. The research was conducted on a 24 slot 16 pole permanent magnet synchronous generator type using the Finite Element Method (FEM) with 3 variations of the number of turns of 35, 50, 65 and variations of the stator rotor iron core material: TR 52: USS Transformer, Remko Soft: Pure, M1000-100A Silicon Steel. This research resulted in the highest current value of 9.92 Amperes, the highest voltage value was 99.2 volts, the value of the input power was 1199.2 Watts and the output power was 1014 Watts on the number of turns of 65 coils and Remko material: soft pure and for efficiency the best is obtained at a value of 87.20% on the number of turns of 50 turns and Remko material: Soft Pure.Keywords – PLTB, Generator, Coil, Iron Core, Permeability Magnet.

Abstract

PT. Agripratama Mitra Sejahtera, a company with the nickname Sobat Veggies (SV), buys and sells more than 100 types of vegetables, fruit, meat and other related products. SV buys from farmers and other companies with different prices and product quality, therefore SV needs to evaluate these suppliers for cost efficiency. The analytical methods used by SV to help in making the right buying decisions are the Vendor Performance Indicator (VPI), followed by the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Performance appraisal is carried out on selected vegetable commodity suppliers because they have high sales levels. The VPI method is used with the concept of QCDFR (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility, Responsiveness) with a total of 13 sub-criteria. The method gives 5 best vegetable suppliers namely CV. Madani Creative Business, Depari Group, CV. Mizan, Central Market, and Quality Fresh Organic. Following through using the FAHP method, we get the ranking as follows: (1) CV. Madani Creative Business with a value of 0.50, (2) the Central Market with a value of 0.48, (3) Quality Fresh Organic with a value of 0.46, (4) Depari Group with a value of 0.44 and (5) CV. Abstract

The PMO design in this study was carried out because the PMO need to strengthen its function so that the PMO can mobilize its full potential according to organizational goals. This study aims to determine the stages of establishing and implementing PMO Initiation, identifying PMO functions and its indicators, analyzing the importance level of results no. 2 towards improving project results & organizational performance, designing business processes & PMO Initiation SOPs. The methods used are expert judgment, AHP, descriptive statistics and BPMN. The results showed that there were 11 stages of establishing and implementing PMO Initiation, 3 PMO functions, 9 PMO function indicators, each 2 success criteria for improving project outcomes and organizational performance. This research also produces business process designs: division (1), department (5) and PMO (3). The managerial implication gives 3 draft PMO SOPs. This PMO design is based on the identification of PMO functions that affect business processes & it is the first time to be done. Modeling and documenting the business processes that occur can identify bottlenecks and improve cross-functional work alignment throughout project activities [1].Keywords: Design, PMO Functions, Project Results, Organization Performance, Business Process.

Abstract

The large muslim population in Indonesia makes the need for halal food and thoyyib increases. This need has not been matched by public awareness in choosing, buying and consuming halal products, especially among students. This cross sectional study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge of halal food  and thoyyib with the eating habits of Al-Azhar Indonesia University students. The research was conducted from March  to October 2020. The research subjects were 110 active students of Al-Azhar Indonesia University who were  selected by proportional random sampling. Data was collected online using google forms. The results showed that most of the subjects (63.6%) had moderate knowledge of halal and thoyyib food, with a score of 60-80. The results also showed that most of the study subjects (76.4%) had relatively good eating habits (score ≥ 92). There was a significant relationship between knowledge of halal food and thoyyib with the frequency of meals per day (r = 0.834, p <0.05).Keywords - Halal, Thoyyib, Knowledge, Eating Habits, Students.

Abstract

Virgin coconut oil (VCO) can be produced without heat, without any alteration, requires minimal investments and energy during production, and has been reported to have many health benefits. We produced VCO with the addition of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) sources with combined method of chilling-thawing and fermentation. The LAB sources used were Sumbawa horse milk (SKL) and commercial probiotic milk (SPK). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) using both LAB sources which were added to coconut milk, respectively 10 ml, 12.5 ml and 15 ml and compared with control or no treatment. LAB were also isolated from blondo and VCO using LAB specific medium, MRSA. The extracted VCO has the characteristics of clear color with a distinctive coconut smell and long shelf-life. Three LAB isolates were obtained, VCO1-3. VCO1 was found in all samples, with colony morphology of circular and entire margin, convex surface, small in size, and white in color. SKL10, SKL15 and SPK10 showed significant difference to the control, with VCO yield of 31.49-33.05 %, significantly higher than that of without LAB treatment. Both LAB sources of single (SPK) and mixed inoculums (SKL) showed higher yields, indicated their potential as starter for VCO extraction.Keywords - Virgin Coconut Oil, VCO, Chilling-Thawing Extraction, Fermentation Extraction, Cold Pressed Oil, Lactic Acid Bacteria.

Abstract

MSMEs have very large number of actors so they play an important role in community welfare. One popular type of MSMEs is the food producer. This study focuses on UKM Tempe Pak Sarbani  (UKMTS), who produces tempe, the traditional Indonesian food and is located in Jombor Sukoharjo.  UKMTS production process is directly related to the production environment because it affects the level of productivity, smoothness, and timeliness of production. The tempe production processes at UKMTS are still manual, and have not met the conditions for the application of Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPP). At UKMTS production processes do not yet meet standards and have irregular facility arrangements which greatly hinder operators in carrying out the production process. Therefore it is necessary to improve the work system and design a repair work system based on HACCP principles to  meet HACCP standards for the MSME scale. Based on all the discrepancies observed, currently the application of CPPB for UKMTS is at level 4. At this level, 9 critical control points are indicated which must be made critical, monitored and improved to avoid dangers that may occur. In the last stage of implementing HACCP in UKMTS, a documentation system was created for the monitoring process.Keywords – HACCP, Production, Work System, MSME (UKM).

Abstract

The current healthcare facilities are unable to meet the demand of the population particularly in cancer treatment, which is one of the major issues in Indonesia and worldwide. Radiotherapy is one of the primary methods for treating cancer, but there are only 10 Regional Cancer Referral Hospitals with radiotherapy facilities in Indonesia, including XYZ Hospital in DKI Jakarta. Currently, XYZ Hospital has only one radiotherapy machine, the Linear Accelerator (LINAC), which is operating beyond its maximum capacity. This poses a risk of damaging the machine and prolonging patient queues. To address this issue, there is a need for the development of a Radiotherapy Installation. Feasibility studies have been conducted to assess the market, technical, and financial aspects of this development. Market studies indicate an increase in the number of radiotherapy patient visits until 2028. From a technical perspective, the development involves a two-story installation with an area of 1528 m2. It requires a workforce of 13 individuals working from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00. However, from a financial perspective, an investment of Rp. 89.297.627.910 is required for the development. Financial studies show that the project has a Net Present Value (NPV) of –Rp. 31.539.067.503, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of -13,93%, and a Payback Period (PBP) of 6.7 years. Therefore, based on the feasibility study, the development of the XYZ Hospital Radiotherapy Installation is not recommended due to financial infeasibility. To make this development feasible, scenarios such as government subsidy increases, raising radiotherapy rates, and attracting more patients until the maximum capacity is met should be considered.Keywords – Feasibility, NPV, IRR, PBP, Radiotherapy.

Abstract

The need for electrical energy is a basic need that cannot be eliminated in the daily lives. With the increase in population, the need for electrical energy increases every year. Non-renewable energy has many examples, such as coal, oil, gas and so on. Wind energy is an alternative energy whose availability in nature. To convert wind energy into electrical energy, a Wind Power Plant is needed. In the conversion process using a generator. A generator that can be used is the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator 24 Slot 16 Pole (PMSG) which can produce magnetic flux and is suitable for use because with low rotation it can produce good efficiency to overcome areas with low wind speeds in Indonesia. To design and test through simulation with infolytica Magnet software based on the Finite Element Method. To increase efficiency in PMSG, this research analyze the effect of coil wire and the number of coils with coil wire diameters of 4 mm2, 6 mm2 and 8 mm2. For the number of coils starting from 25, 30 and 35 coils using a speed of 500 rpm and a load of 10 Ohms equalize all variations. Where the highest efficiency is 88.2%, the output power is 1609.4 Watt, the input power is 1842.0 Watts, the current is 12.49 Amperes and the voltage is 124.9 Volts, obtained on a wire area of 8 mm2 and a number 35 turns with an efficiency of 87.1%.Keywords - PLTB, Lilitan, Generator, Efficiency, Energy
