Abstract

Halal products are obligatory to be used by people who are Muslim. When viewed in terms of the number of the Muslim population in the world and Indonesia, halal products have very potential economic opportunities. However, halal products have the risk of becoming non-halal if the accompanying process and storage do not follow halal rules. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the critical halal point, the point where the potential for such change occurs. So far, identification is made manually, of course there will be opportunities for identification errors to happen and it will take a relatively long time. To overcome these problems, identification can use a computer-based system. Forward chaining is an algorithm that is suitable for identifying halal points, because in SJH LPPOM MUI there is a decision tree for identifying halal critical points which is carried out in the same forward sequence as the forward chaining algorithm process flow. The development of a halal critical point identification system is carried out using the Software Development Life Cycle V-model method, the PHP programming language and the MySQL Database Management System. The system was successfully tested using Whitebox testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and overall system testing. Then testing using Blackbox testing techniques by comparing the results of identifying critical points using the system with the results of identifying critical points manually producing the same results. User satisfaction testing was also carried out using the End User Computing Satisfaction method and obtained an average satisfaction score of 86.53%Keywords – halal products, critical halal point, AI, forward chaining

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu biomassa yang merupakan sumber energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara terus menerus karena ketersediaanya yang tidak pernah habis. Sampah dapat dikonversi menjadi energi listrik melalui metode thermal. Di Kota Ambon, sampah belum dikelola secara optimal sehingga hanya menumpuk di TPA Toisapu, sementara itu angka timbulan sampah tiap harinya terus meningkat. Pada tahun 2020 sampah yang masuk di TPA Toisapu sebanyak 1.958,60 ton dan belum dikelola secara optimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis potensi timbulan sampah yang tersedia di TPA Toisapu Kota Ambon yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembangkit Listrik tenaga sampah menggunakan teknologi insinerasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis potensi sampah menjadi energy listrik. Hasil perhitungan berdasarkan jumlah massa sampah organik yang tersedia di TPA Toisapu yaitu 129,545 kg/jam maka energi listrik yang dapat dibangkitkan adalah 1.119,8960 Watt atau 1,120 kW.Keywords - Renewable Energy, Municipal Solid Waste, Incineration, Power Plants

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an efficient distribution route to produce an optimal total mileage. The research was conducted at PT. XYZ which is one of the fertilizer producers in Sidoarjo, East Java. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the company experienced a decline in demand, so it was necessary to plan distribution routes based on fleet capacity. This research is focused on NPK Blending fertilizer products due to the high interest from the market and the company's frequent production and distribution of these products. The company distributes products to 42 buffers spread across East Java. The number of buffers results in many routes that must be passed so that companies need to do careful planning to produce optimal routes. So far, the company does not have the right method for planning distribution routes. In solving this problem, the researcher uses the differential evolution algorithm method. The company has 17 distribution routes with a total mileage of 4791,2 km, while the results of data processing using the differential evolution algorithm obtained 9 distribution routes with a total distance of 3594,4 km and obtained a mileage savings of 26% so that the use of the differential evolution algorithm can provide a more optimal distribution route. from the company route.Keywords – Distribution, Differential Evolution Algorithm, Vehicle Routing Problem

Abstract

Gajah sumatra (Elephas maximus sumatranus) adalah satwa yang mempunyai ikatan keluarga yang kuat dan sistem sosial matriarki yang dipimpin oleh gajah betina dewasa dominan. Kondisi dan perilaku gajah di habitat aslinya tentu berbeda dibandingkan di penangkaran seperti kebun binatang. Taman Margasatwa Ragunan (TMR) merupakah salah satu wilayah konservasi ex-situ. Pengamatan perilaku antargajah betina di kawasan ex-situ penting dilakukan karena bertujuan untuk mengamati dan menganalisis interaksi yang ada antargajah betina pada kandang dalam di TMR. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengamati perilaku individu dan perilaku sosial antarbetina pada tiga individu gajah sumatra betina yang terdiri dari dua ekor gajah dewasa dan satu ekor gajah anakan yang berada bersama di kandang dalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah scan animal sampling. Hasil pengamatan yaitu perilaku individu gajah sumatra betina pada kandang dalam di TMR didominasi oleh perilaku bergerak dan perilaku sosial antargajah sumatra betina didominasi oleh perilaku mengejar gajah lain. Hasil pengamatan perilaku antargajah betina pada setiap individu gajah berbeda dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal gajah dan lingkungan sekitar.Keywords – Elephas maximus, female sumatran elephant, individual behavior, social behavior

Abstract

Drosera sp. is an insectivorous plant with secondary metabolites, including naphthoquinones which can be used as antibacterial agents. Staphylococcus aureus is a bacterium that often causes nosocomial infections, such as ARI. This research aims to determine the antibacterial activity of four Drosera species, namely D. burmannii, D. sessilifolia, D. capillaris, and D. filiformis, against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923. The agar diffusion method was employed in antibacterial testing by measuring the inhibition zone. The inhibition zone measured using a 7,000 ppm concentration of Drosera sp. ethanolic extract was 6.74 ± 0.21 mm, 9.21 ± 0.32 mm, 18.18 ± 0.60 mm, and 15.67 ± 0.37 mm for D. burmannii, D. sessilifolia, D. capillaris, and D. filiformis, respectively. The largest value was produced by D. capillaris which was close to 19.73 ± 0.55 mm from the positive control (chloramphenicol). The four Drosera sp. extracts have antibacterial potential against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923.Keywords – Antibacterial activity, Drosera sp., Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

One of the risk factors for stunting is the mother's lack of nutrition knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to know how the knowledge of nutrition of the mother before getting married. This research method was a systematic review using the PRISMA-P guidelines and the PICOS criteria in various research articles on GARUDA. The results found only 3 articles that met the criteria with different definitions of nutritional knowledge. The average percentage of respondents with good nutritional knowledge is below 10%, meaning that out of 10 prospective brides only one has good nutritional knowledge. In Suscatin, guidance, and counseling related to health knowledge have been scheduled, but there needs to be an evaluation of the program that has been running.Keywords – Brides and grooms, Nutritional knowledge, Systematic review, Suscatin

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the furniture manufacturing, one of which is sofa. PT. XYZ as a large company has a vision towards waste elimination and the application of lean tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency in its supply chain.  This vision is difficult to realise due to the lack of socialization, inavailability of company skills/expertise, and the absence of guidance for employees in implementing the lean SCM concept. The purpose of this study is to identify the formulation of stages in change management using the Change Acceleration Process (CAP) model. The spaghetti diagram approach is carried out to measure the distance between materials/materials and workers and an analysis is carried out to improve the layout of the work station to reduce the movement distance. Improvements to the layout of the work station using the Activity Relationship Chart and continued with the Activity Relationship Diagram. Abstract

Liang tea Pontianak is a traditional beverage product made using recipes passed down from generation to generation. Liang tea Pontianak is usually made in the form of fresh drinks however, the liang tea Pontianak drink in the form of a fresh drink does not have a long shelf life. One way to overcome this liang tea Pontianak can be processed into dry liang tea Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to obtain the drying temperature of the liang tea Pontianak formulation which resulted in the sensory and chemical quality characteristics of liang tea Pontianak which was rich in the best antioxidants in dry form. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with one factor, namely the variation of the drying temperature of liang tea Pontianak burrows which consisted of 3 levels treatment with 9 reolications (50 ± 5, 60 ± 5, 70 ± 5)°C. The data obtained were analyzed using 5%, with further testing using the BNJ Test with a level of 5%. The best treatment was using the effectiveness index test. The results showed that the drying temperature liang tea Pontianak burrows was carried out with the best temperature of 60 ± 5°C. The best sensory test results liang tea Pontianak were color 3,97 (like), aroma 3,53 (like) and taste 3,83 (like) . The best chemical test resulted in liang tea Pontianak in the form of antioxidant activity of 44,64% and total flavonoids 50,18 mg QE/g.Keywords - antioxidant activity, liang-tea Pontianak, drying temperature, Rancangan Acak Kelompok

Abstract

PT. Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Motors and Manufacturing Engine Factory, or PT. MKM 1 manufactures the TD-4V21 engine for canters and engine parts such as crankcase and timing gear, transmission, front axle, and differential case. This research was conducted at PT. MKM 1 on the Transmission Case and Clutch Housing production line aims to identify the dominant type of defect, analyze the potential causes of failure using the Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA) method, and determine the priority causes of failure to be repaired using the Technique for Others Reference by Similarity to the method. Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). In the production of TMTD & CLH, there are three dominant types of defects based on the application of the Pareto diagram, namely, the result of the NG thread process is 42%, the hole diameter plus-minus is 23%, and the outspent position is 13%. There are causes of failure that need to be addressed based on the analysis of the Ishikawa diagram and the application of the FMEA-TOPSIS method. In the results of the NG thread process, the causes of failure that need to be overcome are the wrong settings for tools, parts, or materials that are not smooth, there are iron ores. On the defect hole diameter plus-minus, try ex tool insert, loose bolt insert tool, and overspec tool dimension. While the outspent position there are causes of failure that need to be overcome, namely the length of the part over, improvements to the-axisscale, and panel brackets that are accidentally turned off.Keywords – Quality improvement, FMEA, TOPSIS, Diagram Ishikawa, Failure Mode Effect And Analysis, Technique For Others Reference By Similarity To Ideal Solution.

Abstract

Kedurus river is located in a residential and agricultural area in the Wayang sub-district, Surabaya. Domestic and non-domestic activities around the river have provided excessive pollutants to the river, more than the standard contents as regulated by the government. This study is aimed to measure the pollution level in the river. Regulation PP 22 of 2021 is used as a quality standard while the capacity to accommodate pollution loads is calculated based on Kempten-LH No. 110 of 2003. Based on the research results, the DO, TDS, BOD, COD, and Ammonia parameters at points 1, 2, and 3, and the TSS and detergent parameters at point 3 indicated concerns for the quality of the water environment. This can be seen from the measurement values that exceed the pollution load capacity limit in accordance with class II quality standards, Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. Appropriate measures are needed to improve the condition of the water environment to protect the health and survival of the living things in the river and maintaining the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems.Keywords – Pollution Load Capacity, Kedurus River,
