Abstract

This study examines the urban governance policy in relocating Indonesia's capital city from Jakarta to Ibu Kota Nusantara, or IKN, in East Kalimantan. It was driven by Jakarta's problems, such as overpopulation, which limits its capacity to support urban activities. IKN will include biodiversity conservation areas, protected forests, and abandoned mining sites, which require innovative and sustainable urban planning. Furthermore, this study emphasizes creating a bright, green, and sustainable city while preserving 70–75% of the surrounding forest cover. The researcher applies a qualitative method based on a literature review due to the lack of comprehensive secondary data on the ecological and infrastructural conditions of the site. Findings highlight that effective urban governance requires coordinated efforts between central and regional governments, policy harmonization, the integration of digital technologies, and active participation from stakeholders and local communities to ensure environmental and social sustainability in the new capital.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) social assistance program in alleviating poverty in Sumengko Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency, in 2023. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving six respondents. The evaluation utilized William N. Dunn's framework, focusing on effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy, to ensure credible conclusions. The findings indicate that while the program effectively addresses basic needs by distributing 10 kg of rice per household, limitations in rice availability hinder its adequacy and equity. Uneven socialization and misallocation to ineligible households also impact program accuracy. These findings provide a basis for comparing similar programs in other rural settings and highlight the need for improved coordination and oversight. Beyond poverty alleviation, the program has potential broader impacts on community health and education by enhancing food security and reducing economic stress. This comprehensive evaluation emphasizes the importance of addressing logistical and social challenges to optimize the benefits of social assistance programs.

Abstract

This Research aims to diagnose the decline in IMM members at Muara Bungo Muhammadiyah University. This condition can also cause the Muhammadiyah cadre formation not to run well. This research method uses a qualitative approach with interview techniques with credible sources at IMM, namely the IMM PC Instructor Corps and the Chair of PC IMM Bungo for 2023-2024. Results From this Research, several obstacles were found that led to a decrease in the number of IMM members. Obstacles faced include students not understanding the function of organizing, negative stigma towards organizations, dividing time between academics and organizations, the benefits of organizing academically not yet visible, organizational activities still monotonous and seem uninteresting, internal obstacles within the organization itself, and competition with other student organizations outside campus. The findings from this Research can be used as evaluation material for PC IMM Bungo administrators to create more varied work programs that are relevant to student development so that students are interested in becoming members. The implications contribute to the programs that will be carried out and which can be maximized so that IMM can become an organization with integrity.

Abstract

The increasing K-pop music industry phenomenon happens because of the influence of social media, which people quickly access. The simplicity of social media allows collaboration in the K-pop music industry. It can be seen from the partnership of a game developer with a Korean music agency to make a game named Blackpink The Game. By inviting players, players will be asked to simulate being a girl band producer so that the girl band becomes famous and builds a simulacra. Moreover, the players will be invited to be stimulated to be anoBlackpink members to complete a specific mission. With the hyperreality analytics of Baudrillard, simulacra in the Game chooses one member of Blackpink and finishes the task. At the same time, hyperreality is the interaction between members of Blackpink and the producer until there are no boundaries between reality and the virtual world. The study method is a literature review with Jean Baudrillard's theory of the reality of The Game players. The purpose of the study is to see the impact of hyperreality on Blackpink. The Game Players

Abstract

This article or paper aims to analyze the ideological construction of the Hanura Party, namely "Religious Nationalist," about the regeneration process in Medan. In addition, this study also aims to evaluate the electability of candidates for the Hanura Party legislative members in Medan City by applying the ideology of "Religious Nationalists." This study uses a qualitative research method with a type of descriptive research, using primary and secondary data collection techniques. Primary data in this Thesis was obtained through interviews and observations, while secondary data was obtained through books, journals, and the Internet. Research shows that the religious nationalist ideology of the Hanura Party plays a vital role in shaping the political identity, loyalty, and ethics of cadres in the city of Medan. However, the challenge of internalizing ideology underscores the need to strengthen the regeneration program, especially in connecting ideological teaching with field practice. The success of cadre regeneration requires the development of technical competence to deal with political dynamics, so the Hanura Party needs to innovate in forming cadres who are loyal to ideology and politically competent.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) implemented in the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Supervision UPTD. A qualitative approach is used to explore the effectiveness of policies, implementation challenges, and their impact on occupational safety. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the SMK3 policy has positively impacted reducing the number of work accidents, especially in companies that consistently implement safety standards. However, its implementation is still constrained by limited resources, a low understanding of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) regulations, and a lack of labor participation in several companies. Management commitment and occupational safety culture have proven to be key factors in successfully implementing SMK3. In addition, digital technology has begun to support supervision, although it still requires development. This study recommends increasing the capacity of supervisors, more intensive policy socialization, and collaboration with K3 training institutions. With a more inclusive and technology-based approach, the SMK3 policy is expected to improve overall occupational safety in North Sumatra Province.
