Abstract

In Indonesia, the number of Covid-19 cases in pregnant women is 3.9% and the prevalence of morbidity and mortality of pregnant women with Covid-19 is still unknown. However, several studies have shown that pregnant women may be very susceptible to Covid-19 infection so that it does little to cause fear and anxiety in pregnant women. Perceptions and behaviors of pregnant women need to be explored to see how health behavior is in making decisions for ANC visits. This study uses a qualitative method with an exploratory approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 12 pregnant women. The informants were pregnant women in Tabanan Regency who experienced an increase in the number of ANC visits at the Puskesmas. Data collection was carried out during January-February 2021. The data were analyzed thematically and presented using a narrative approach. Knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of ANC and how to spread Covid-19 plays a very important role in the attitude of pregnant women in carrying out ANC. Adaptations in the application of health protocols continue to be carried out, this is because they feel vulnerable to being exposed to Covid-19. The feeling of fear and anxiety they felt did not stop them from doing ANC during the pandemic. The perception of severity is felt because of the experience of previous pregnancies, but the support and motivation makes pregnant women feel more able to avoid feelings of anxiety. ANC behavior of pregnant women can be seen in the selection of ANC locations that are felt to be safe and not crowded, such as Puskesmas and midwives. This study reveals that the anxiety of pregnant women during the Covid-10 pandemic can lead to levels of depression and anxiety if left untreated. There is a need for psychosocial support and information through online media for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: perception, pregnant women, ANC, Covid-19

Abstract

The division of labor in this study refers to the working hour arrangement made by the hospital management for 24-hour optimal service. Nurses in the operating room as health workers need the division of labor. It considers that not all planned or scheduled surgery can be carried out at a predetermined time since delays, acceleration, or cancellation can occur. Nurses in the operating room must be ready for 24 hours for surgeries. However, an intensive division of labor with long working hours is an essential factor affecting the fatigue levels of nurse anesthetists in the operating room. Fatigue decreases alertness, concentration, judgment, and mood. To determine the effect of different divisions of labor over fatigue levels of nurse anesthetists in the operating room in Indonesia. This study used a quantitative research design with an analytical observational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 228 nurse anesthetists in the operating room from hospitals in various regions throughout Indonesia. Data was collected with OFER and ENSS questionnaires translated into Indonesian and tested previously for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 20, with univariate analysis. It indicates that the respondents were primarily male, aged 22 to 68 years old, married, had an associate’s degree, with >3 years tenure, the number of operating rooms were between 1 to 26 rooms, the number of nurse anesthetists ranges from 1 to 43 people, and the number of surgery ranges from 1 to 50 per day. Bivariate analysis was carried out using Kruskal-Wallis analysis. The results showed a difference between work shifts and work fatigue, where 12 hours-12 hours work shift have severe fatigue rates than others. The work shifts regulate the working hours of nurse anesthetists to work optimally. It is essential to adjust the work shift so that they can have enough time to rest. An irregular division of work hours and the work hours longer than the rest duration are significant factors causing chronic fatigue in nurse anesthetists.

Abstract

Introduction: Knowledge is very important factor in the accurancy of triage implementation in accordance with the COVID-19 health protocol during this pandemic, if the knowledge of nurse is very good, then triage handling in hospitals, especially in the emergency unit, will be maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses knowledge relate to triage and application of triage according to the COVID-19 health protocol in the emergency unit. Method: This study uses a descriptive correlational method with a cross-sectional approach. This study with a sample of 37 respondents, the sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. This study uses a reseach instrument, namely aguestionnaire sheet for the knowledge variable and an observation sheet for the application variable, for the knowledge questionnaire a validity test has been carried out at Wangaya Hospital Denpasar on 29 April-7 May 2021, with the results of the validity test of 0,366-0,705 and the results of the realiability test by using alpha cronbach of 0,921. Result: The results of this study indicate that 25 people (67,6%) respondents who have a good level of knowledge and good application of triage, and there are 12 people (32,4%) respondents with a enough level of knowledge and enough application. Based on the spearman rank test, it was obtained with a value that p value = 0.000 <α=0,05, which means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted where statistically the is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of triage according to the COVID-19 health protocol. The correlation value on the variable level of knowledge with the application of triage of 0.605 means that it shows the level of a strong relationship between the level of knowedge and the application of the COVID-19 health protocol triage in the IGD BRSUD Tabanan, with the derection of a positive correlation relationship which means that the better the level of knowledge of nurse regarding triage, the better. Also the level of triage compliance in accordance with the COVID-19 protocol. Discussion: The applicaton triage is very important in the proses determining the level of emergency patients, in this case the level of knowlwdge of nurses greatly affects the process of applying triage so as to increase the knowledge of nurses in carrying out triage actions appropriately so that it can be applied properly.

Abstract

Sampel setelah adaptasi, dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok.
