<![CDATA[This article is an attempt to include Christian religious education as a form of gender equality learning for adolescents in the Kayubatu tribe. The Kayubatu tribe is one of the original tribes of Jayapura City, Papua Province. The Kayubatu tribe lives with a culture that has been preserved from generation to generation, one of which is an understanding of the Patriarchal culture. This understanding makes the people of the Kayubatu tribe live in gender inequality. Religion coexists with adat. Therefore, customs affect the whole system of life from generation to generation. Christian teaching patterns were first taught in family life and became very important to instill values Christian education in the form of equality for men and women. The author will discuss the views of women in customs and forms of Christian teaching that can be used as a form of gender equality for adolescents in Kayubatu village. During adolescence, children are considered capable of considering and having the will and awareness to act and be responsible, so gender equality education is expected to build awareness of adolescents so that they can practice equality between men and women in their environment. This research is a qualitative ethnographic research on the Kayubatu Village Community. <![CDATA[Humans are creatures of worship. Worship is a very important part of human life. In Christianity, worship means the revelation of God in Jesus Christ to humans and human responses through Jesus Christ to God's work. Human response through words, emotions and actions. Online worship is an alternative for many churches to meet the worship needs. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of online worship in the GMIT Nazareth Oesapa Timur Congregation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Researchers conducted observations and in-depth interviews. From this research, online worship at the GMIT Nazareth Oesapa Timur Congregation has been carried out well, but the results have not been fully effective to help the members to understand the meaning of worship and worship properly. Online worship cannot fully activate the worship that is carried out in church buildings but it can help members of the congregation to worship. Therefore, the church needs to pay attention to the liturgy of worship and provide a good understanding of online worship. ]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon and reality of organizing online worship during the Covid-19 pandemic have been going on for more than a year with pros and cons at the beginning of the transition from offline to online based on the meaning of Christian spirituality. This study aims to describe Christian spirituality based on the appreciation of loving God and others in online worship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted qualitatively through preliminary observations, online worship observations, documents, and unstructured interviews. Secondary data in the form of a literature review were analyzed exploratively. Respondents are members of the Methodist church as adherents of Wesley theology. The results of the analysis are described qualitatively based on the data obtained either through observations from online worship YouTube streaming, or from interviews with four respondents consisting of clergy, assembly members, activists, and congregations. The results show that Christian spirituality begins with the experience of being thoroughly sanctified (entire sanctification) in Christ Jesus so that the Holy Spirit who dwells within the believer will guide his spiritual life as an appreciation of love for God and others, both online and offline worship. Obstacles in organizing online worship, as well as when participating in it, can be an opportunity to deepen the love for God and others or vice versa. It was concluded that the decision to organize online worship during the pandemic itself was a form of appreciation for loving God and others, which later when the pandemic ended, online worship could be a means of evangelism as well as meeting the needs of the congregation who were in a condition where it was not possible to attend church worship. ]]>

<![CDATA[Seeing the number of acts of sexual violence against children which is increasing every year in Indonesia, the church should be aware of the importance of providing sex education to children from an early age. The church as an integral part of society and as the "hand of God" on earth, has a duty, strategic position, and responsibility to provide education through the field of service in the Sunday School category. However, there are still many churches that are silent due to many factors, such as lack of knowledge, lack of human resources, as well as lack of concern. Therefore, this paper will describe a review of sex according to the Bible, a review of the Sunday School according to the Bible, the importance of sex education for Sunday School children, then formulate sex education for Sunday School children. The hope is that the church provides sexual education to its Sunday school children to save God's children from perpetrators of sexual violence. The research method used in this paper is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Through a critical study, the results of this paper are used as the theological basis for practicing sex education for Sunday School children. ]]>

<![CDATA[Era new normal sudah masuk dalam semua aspek hidup manusia termasuk kehidupan beriman. Ibadah online adalah fokus peneliti yang dikaitkan dengan relasi sosial serta berdampakkah online pada pertumbuhan iman umat dengan lokus adalah GMIT?. Setelah pandemi covid 19 melandai beberapa gereja di Indonesia menyelenggarakan ibadah secara hybrid yakni perpaduan onsite dan online, tentu ada dampak positif dan negatifnya. Hipotesa yang akan dibuktikan adalah jika ibadah dan relasi sosial dihayati secara benar maka berkorelasi pada pertumbuhan iman umat di GMIT akan bertumbuh, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan penyebaran angket dalam bentuk gogole form pada 210 orang responden dengan bervariasi usia dan jenis pekerjaan dan gender. Kajian teori yang berkaitan dengan variabel penelitian adalah perpektif Alkitab tentang hakikat ibadah, Gereja sebagai persekutuan sesama dengan Tuhan, membangun relasi dalam komunitas berdasarkan kasih Kristus pada era teknologi informasi, Teori .Perkembangan Iman menurut James Fowler serta kajian dalam teori pertumbuhan Gereja. Hasil Analisa data menggunakan SPSS dengan Uji validasi dan reabilitas dan uji korelasi, diperoleh terdapat korelasi antara ibadah online dengan pertumbuhan iman dengan hasil Pearson Correlation yang memiliki hasil 0,665 sementara relasi sosial dengan pertumbuhan iman relatif sangat kuat dengan hasil Pearson Corelation 0618, dengan demikian hipotesa terbukti bahwa ada korelasi ibadah online dan relasi sosial terhadap pertumbuhan iman jemaat GMIT dengan hasil Pearson Correlation yang memiliki hasil < 0.05.Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa ibadah online di era digitalisasi umat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi secara maksimal, sejalan dengan itu umat juga menghayati perlunya menjalin relasi sosial dengan sesamanya dengan maksimal, tergambar GMIT telah mendampingi serta mendidik umat di era teknologi informasi dengan tetap menjalin relasi dengan Tuhan dan sesamanya, saran perlu terus dimodifikasi metode, strategi dan pendekatan dalam mendampingi serta mendidik umaut agar terus berelasi secara seimbang debgan Tuhan dan sesame sesuai dengan Hukum Allah pada Matius 28: 19-20.]]>

<![CDATA[To achieve a child's hope of good behavior and positive behavior requires a great deal of learning and theological study strategies for good children in an educational, family, and church environment. In the context of education, the results of failure to choose learning strategies and how to treat students are one and several things that cause children or students to have bad behavior. Therefore the purpose of this study is to know how PAKEM strategies and child service theology affect the forming of children's behavior or “Rumah Belajar Baba” participants. The research population is all over the students of the 1-6 elementary class of the baba home study foundation, which is 42 students. Through the tool of analysis used, there was an acre value. RSquare by 0.955 = 95.5%, which means X1 and X2 variables have a significant and strong relationship with the Y1 variable. The results of the hypothetical test with the statisrics effect X1 on Y1 have a value of 2,386 and P. values 0.000 , and the X2 impact on Y1 has a value of 4,706 and P.values 0.000, which suggests that the hypotheses are accepted, which means that the pakem and theological services of children have a significant impact on establishing the behaviour of “Rumah Belajar Baba” students of 1-6 class.]]>

<![CDATA[In 1992, Metaverse was initially introduced. Although many people think of Metaverse as a new phrase, the concept is not. The Metaverse, on the other hand, was the focus of Zuckerberg's news release. Given that the metaverse will most likely pervade many aspects of human life in the next 15-20 years, influencing human life through leveraging technological advancements. This is why I wrote this article, which examines how the metaverse affects Christian Religious Education. The author employs a qualitative approach in writing this essay, relying on secondary data from a literature review study that, of course, includes a look at the metaverse and Christian Religious Education. According to the findings of this study, the metaverse has a significant impact on all aspects of human existence, including education. Christian Religious Education is the goal of education in this environment. As a result, Christian Religious Education has a critical role to play in preparing students for the metaverse, which is currently popular and will almost surely occur in real life in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Living without faith commitment is an existential struggle in Indonesia, where religion is essential for communal life. Despite the civic requirement to register one’s religious belief, some students, in reality, live without faith commitment. Their formal religious status is not a reflection of their convictions. They never attend religious worship, and they also have no idea about the core beliefs. Using qualitative phenomenological research, this article reports students’ existential struggle in a religiously-shaped society as an intense experience and struggle to find a place in the community. In the final part of the research, the paper also reflects the biblical perspective and provides recommendations for the church in the contemporary context.]]>

<![CDATA[Tata Gereja dan Tata Laksana HKBP 2002 menyatakan dengan jelas bahwa dalam jabatan kependetaan HKBP itu tercakup ketiga jabatan Kristus, yaitu imam, raja, dan nabi. Gagasan ini mempengaruhi sejumlah pendeta dan teolog HKBP untuk berpikir dan bertindak bahwa pendeta adalah jabatan gerejawi yang menjadi wakil Kristus di jemaat. Gagasan jabatan pendeta sebagai imam, raja, dan nabi ternyata menguatkan supremasi pendeta yang ditunjukkan dalam bentuk pembaruan Tata Gereja HKBP sebagai gereja yang pendeta-sentris. Melalui analisis historis dan teologis, artikel ini akan menampilkan perkembangan konsep jabatan Kristus sebagai imam, raja, dan nabi tersebut secara kronologis dari zaman Perjanjian Lama (PL) sampai sekarang. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pernyataan pendeta adalah pemegang ketiga jabatan Kristus tidak tepat. Selain itu, analisis terhadap dokumen-dokumen yang mendukung pernyataan tersebut juga membuktikan adanya sejumlah kerancuan dan penjelasan yang kurang memadai dan tidak menguatkan klaim tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[Intoleransi karena terhambatnya kebebasan beragama dan berkeyakinan masih terjadi, juga munculnya ideologi ekstrim di Indonesia. Berbagai upaya pemerintah telah dilaksanakan agar masyarakat rukun. Upaya yang diperbincangkan sekarang adalah moderasi beragama, yang merupakan program pemerintah yang mengacu Perpres Nomor 18 tahun 2020 tentang RPJMN 2020-2024. Namun diskursus tentang intoleransi sejalan dengan diskursus moderasi beragama. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini bagaimana mahasiswa memaknai moderasi beragama dan keragaman serta sinergiskah dengan upaya membangun kerukunan umat beragama di Indonesia ? Kajian teori tentang moderasi beragama, perspektif teologi Kristen tentang moderasi beragama, keragaman ciptaan Tuhan, relasi keragaman dengan teknologi informasi. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, melalui observasi dan menggali informasi dari subjek penelitian melalui kuesioner dalam bentuk Google form pada mahasiswa Kristen di Perguruan Tinggi Umum dan Keagamaan Kristen baik Swasta maupun Negeri di berbagai wilayah Indonesia yang berjumlah 205 responden . Hasil penelitian memiliki korelasi sedang dan kuat dengan kerukunan beragama. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Kristen Indonesia sedang dalam pemahaman tentang moderasi, namun kuat dalam memaknani upaya moderasi beragama dalam keragaman untuk kerukunan di Indonesia, implikasi agar dilaksanakan sosialisasi optimal tentang moderasi beragama oleh Perguruan Tinggi melalui berbagai metode dan pendekatan.]]>
