Abstract

This study discusses consonant clusters in the Javanese dialect of Surabaya. A consonant group is two or more consonants that are consecutive in one syllable. The method used in this study, namely a qualitative descriptive method obtained from speakers of the Javanese dialect of Surabaya. The data collection used in this study, namely the proficient method using basic techniques in the form of fishing rods. This technique is used to provoke informants to bring up the expected linguistic symptoms. The results of this study showed that consonant clusters in Javanese dialect of Surabaya can occur at two consonants and three consonants. Furthermore, in this research, it is shown that there are consonant clusters in Javanese dialect of Surabaya, but not in Indonesian consonant clusters.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model on students motivation to learn about social studies in 4th grade elementary school students.. Using a quantitative experimental approach with a quasi-experimental research methodology, researchers cannot control all external variables that affect the experiments outcome.. The t test was used to examine the test results once they were collected. There was no significant difference in students learning motivation between the PBL approach and the conventional model, according to the findings. The tcount ttable value of 0.661 1.672 demonstrates this. As a result, H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, indicating that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model has no effect on students willingness to learn social studies when compared to students who do not use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPS pada peserta didik kelas 4 SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan metode penelitian quasi experiment dimana peneliti tidak dapat mengontrol semua variabel luar yang mempengaruhi jalannya eksperimen. Data yang didapat dari pemberian tes dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model PBL dengan model konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari thitung < ttabel,yaitu 0,661 < 1,672. Dengan demikian H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, yang artinya tidak ada pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS peserta didik antara yang menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan yang tidak menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di SDN Susukan 07 Pagi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to elucidate students' perspectives on grammar teaching methods. It observed 5th-semester students from the 2019 academic year, in English Language Education Study Program. Five students were chosen at random from each class, so the total sample for this study was 25. The descriptive quantitative research method was applied to this study. The information was gathered using a questionnaire that represented two grammar teaching methods: explicit and implicit. Each one consists of six statements, with several options for students to choose from, including strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree. The findings revealed that each student has a different perspective on what method is required. The questionnaire results showed that approximately 80% of students agreed with every statement in the explicit method, and the majority of them chose neutral to the statements in the implicit method, with an average percentage of 37%-70%. As a result, students can be taught using both implicit and explicit methods, as both have advantages, and it is determined by the needs of each student.

Abstract

This article attempts to explore ambidextrous leadership and its effects on business agility and firm performance. Is it relevant to tend to explorative, exploitative, or balanced in leading a company in crisis conditions? How does ambidextrous leadership impact on business agility in supply chain, operations, and marketing function? This article is based on a cross-sectional study which collecting perceptual responses from 113 senior management from 34 public listed companies on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data was collected by online-questionnaire with convenience approach. The data was then analyzed with SmartPLS version 3.3.9. The results reveal to be explorative rather than exploitative for being more agile in doing business. Supply chain agility is the most influential function for being agile in business rather than operational or marketing agility in generating firm performance.

Abstract

This is a narrative inquiry research that focuses on students perceptions and experiences in language learning using a pop-up book. The aim of this study is to know the influence of pop-up book in learning language through students perception. The use of media in learning is considered very important so that researcher focused on language learning by using realia media in the form of pop-up books. Narrative inquiry research is a form of qualitative research in which researcher obtains data from documentation and student interviews. This research was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah 13 Solokuro, at the 7th grade level with a total of 9 students. The study took place from March to May 2022. The results of this study indicate that students have a good perception of language learning using pop-up and of course they have new experiences with the methods applied in the learning. There have been many studies on the development and application of a method in learning, while this time the researcher choses to look for something different by looking at the stories, perceptions and experiences of students. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian inquiri naratif yang berfokus pada persepsi dan pengalaman siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa dengan menggunakan pop-up book. Tujuan dari pada dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh media pop-up book dari persepsi siswa. Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran dirasa sangat penting sehingga peneliti berfokus pada pembelajaran bahasa dengan menggunakan media realia berbentuk pop-up book. Penelitian inquiri naratif ini adalah bentuk penelitian kualitatif yang mana peneliti mendapatkan data dari dokumentasi dan juga interview siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Muhammadiyah 13 Solokuro, pada jenjang kelas 7 yang berjumlah 9 siswa. Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Maret sampai Mei tahun 2022. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi yang baik terkait pembelajaran bahasa menggunakan pop-up dan tentu mereka memiliki pengalaman yang baru dengan metode yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Sudah banyak dijumpai penelitian tentang pengembangan dan penerapan sebuah metode dalam pembelajaran, sedangkan kali ini peneliti memilih mencari hal yang berbeda dengan melihat dari cerita, persepsi, serta pengalaman siswa.

Abstract

This research begins with an incident related to the problem of domestic violence. The acts of violence that occur are dominated by wives as victims. Even though there is violence, the wife of the victim of domestic violence chooses to survive rather than divorce. The decision is because the wife has the ability to rise from adversity which is called resilience. The resilience that occurs in the wife is influenced by various internal and external factors. The purpose of this research is to describe the factors of surviving wives which can be explained thoroughly to help other women be able to and overcome problems in the family sphere. Using a qualitative approach with case study methods and data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study stated that the wifes survival factor was caused by internal factors such as still having feelings, and spirituality and external factors such as children, negative community stigma, economy, children, and social support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja auditor terhadap gaya kepemimpinan, etika profesi, dan komitmen organisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penyebaran kuesioner kepada 79 auditor eksternal yang bekerja pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di wilayah Jakarta Selatan. Non-probability sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini. SmartPLS versi 33 dan SPSS versi 25 digunakan untuk menganalisis data penelitian. Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja auditor, etika profesi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja auditor, dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja auditor, menurut temuan. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja auditor dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan, etika profesi, dan komitmen perusahaan. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of auditor performance on leadership style, professional ethics, and organizational commitment. The approach employed was the distribution of questionnaires to 79 external auditors working at Public Accounting Firms in the South Jakarta region. Non-probability sampling was utilized in this study. SmartPLS version 33 and SPSS version 25 were used to analyze study data. Leadership style had a favourable and significant influence on auditor performance, professional ethics had a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, according to the findings. Furthermore, this study demonstrates that auditor performance can be influenced by leadership style, professional ethics, and corporate commitment.

Abstract

Poverty is a condition of a person who is not able to meet the needs of his life. Many factors cause someone to decide to take up the profession as a beggar, namely economic factors, education, and environmental factors. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of social services and community empowerment in dealing with beggars in Gorontalo City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method to obtain results and data analysis. The results showed that the role of social services and community empowerment in dealing with beggars in Gorontalo City was carried out through coaching with mental guidance, empowerment by providing training and financing by providing capital to beggars to run businesses.

Abstract

Analysis of the Zoning Sistem in Senior High School SMAN 02 Pandeglang in the analysis of the zoning sistem. The zoning sistem is a sistem established by the Minister of Education and Culture. The aims are to know the determination of the area/zone and quotas in the zoning sistem, the selection sistem in the zoning sistem and to know the efficiency of education in the zoning sistem. Observations, interviews, and documentation used in this study. Sources of data are the head of the department and the principal and their staff, parents and students. This study states that the zoning sistem is quite good and efficient enough for the education sistem and education equity, this zoning sistem has the aim of realizing an equal distribution of education in Indonesia. Sistem zonasi yang telah diberlakukan masih ditemui kekurangan dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penentuan wilayah/zona dan kuota sistem zonasi, adapun rumusannya yaitu (1) bagaimana penentuan wilayah/zona dan kuota system zonasi, (2) bagaimana sistem seleksi dalam sistem zonasi, (3) bagaimana efisiensi pendidikan dalam sistem zonasi. Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah kepala dinas dan kepala sekolah beserta jajarannya, orang tua siswa, dan siswa. Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa sistem zonasi cukup baik dan cukup efisien untuk sistem pendidikan dan pemeratan pendidikan di SMAN 02 Pandeglang. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan adalah mensosialisasikan secara berkelanjutan dan transparansi data.

Abstract

This study concerns the following notions: (1) language variations, (2) language patterns, (3) language shifts, and; (4) the factors to Gorontalo language shifts in the social aspect, while this study aimed to identify and describe said concerns. The findings revealed as follows: (1) the language variations used by the communities consist of variations based on the speaker, which are vulgar dan basilect, while the variations based on the formality were intimate and casual, (2 the dominant patterns used by the Gorontalo communities are BMM+BI, BMM+BG, BG+BI+BMM, BMM+BI+BS, (3) the language shift did not entirely occur within Gorontalo communities communications, (4) the factors to the shift are: situations, education, economy, and immigration. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan variasi bahasa, pola penggunaan bahasa, pergeseran bahasa Gorontalo dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pergeseran bahasa Gorontao dalam ranah sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) variasi bahasa yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Gorontalo ada dua yaitu variasi bahasa yang dilihat dari segi penutur yaitu vulgar dan basilek dan variasi hahasa yang dilihat dari segi keformalan yaitu ragam intim dan ragam santai, (2) pola penggunaan yang dominan digunakan oleh masyarakat Gorontalo ada empat yaitu: BMM+BI, BMM+BG, BG+BI+BMM, BMM+BI+BS, (3) Pergeseran bahasa Gorontalo terjadi secara tidak keseluruhan dalam komunikasi masyarakat Gorontalo, (4) faktor yang mempengaruhi pergeseran bahasa yaitu situasi, pendidikan, ekonomi dan imigrasi.
