Abstract

The laboratory in higher education institutions is one of the facilities that must be available, usually used for practical and trial purposes. At the Bina Husada Banten Midwifery Academy, lecturers and students use the laboratory according to the schedule of certain courses. However, due to limited human resources and the large number of tools used, borrowed tools are often not returned on time, and the recording is still conventional through borrowing and returning books, so it cannot be controlled properly. Therefore, the author tries to design an information system that can monitor the borrowing and returning of laboratory equipment so that it is used and returned according to schedule. Observations, interviews, and literature studies were conducted to collect the necessary data. At the same time, system development was done using the waterfall model and modeling using unified modeling language (UML), PHP programming language, and MySQL database. Through this system design, the borrowing of laboratory equipment can be monitored properly so that the use of equipment can be regulated properly and accurately. The limitation of using a website-based system is that when the internet resource is disconnected or there is no electricity, transactions cannot be carried out, therefore it is necessary to develop a system that can be implemented online or offline.

Abstract

The progress and development of technology today is very rapid, many people are utilizing technological advances as a means to conduct various kinds of business. Every activity carried out by the community is very dependent on information and communication technology tools that exist today, therefore a system is needed that can monitor changes in water conditions, in the room. Identify previous studies relevant to the topic, both successful and those that still have shortcomings. Analyzing user needs, both from the perspective of aquarium owners to researchers in the context of technical needs. Water turbidity is an important parameter that can affect the health of aquatic organisms in an aquarium. Basic concepts of the Internet of Things (IoT), including network architecture, communication protocols, and commonly used IoT platforms such as Blynk, Thingspeak, or other cloud-based platforms. By utilizing IoT, the water substitution system in aquariums becomes more efficient and automated, incorporating sensors, controllers, and internet connectivity to monitor and manage water conditions. The system aims to maintain the water quality in the aquarium by replacing the old water regularly as needed as determined by the sensors, thus providing a healthy environment for fish and other aquatic organisms.

Abstract

The development of information technology continues to increase, driving people's need for fast and affordable internet access. However, rural communities often face obstacles such as weak GSM signals and expensive data plan fees. To overcome these challenges, fiber optic-based RT/RW Net networks are a promising solution, offering stability and high speed at a lower cost than wireless networks. Faqih Teknologi, a micro-enterprise, delivered the Internet Masuk Desa program in Karang Suraga. Despite initially using wireless technology, the company faced obstacles such as vulnerability to lightning, signal interference due to weather and geographical factors, and high maintenance costs. Switching to fiber optic overcame these issues, offering a more stable signal, lower susceptibility to weather, and more efficient maintenance costs. This research uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method to design a fiber optic-based internet network system. The NDLC stages include requirements analysis, network design, simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. This approach ensures that the designed system is able to meet the needs of the community with optimal performance, while opening up new economic opportunities for the community through a partnership-based business model.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the queuing system at the J&T Express Bukittinggi Bypass branch using a simulation method. The main problems identified are prolonged customer waiting times and long queues during peak hours, which negatively impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. To address these issues, this study employs a queue simulation method based on a mathematical model, enabling the analysis of queuing system performance and the evaluation of various improvement scenarios. Several scenarios were tested, including adding service counters, reducing service times, and rearranging the counter layout. Data collected through direct observation were analyzed to determine customer arrival times, service times, and queue lengths. The simulation results indicate that adding service counters significantly reduces customer waiting times, while reducing service times accelerates processes and shortens queues. Additionally, rearranging the counter layout has proven effective in balancing customer distribution. In conclusion, the application of queue simulation as a tool for analyzing and optimizing queuing systems can enhance operational efficiency, reduce waiting times, and improve the customer experience. This study provides a valuable contribution to the management of queuing systems in the logistics sector, particularly at J&T Express.

Abstract

In today's era, information technology is developing rapidly and is still growing, so that it demands everyone to keep abreast of technological developments by applying technology to all fields, including in the business sector. Sales data is very important to input and store properly for later management in order to be able to create invoices and delivery orders as well as generate sales data reports. On CV. Tasya Bungsu sales data collection process is still simple so there are still many obstacles in the implementation of the process and it is more time consuming so that the process is still less effective and efficient. So, there is a need for a more computerized sales data collection system, namely a web-based system that allows data collection to be more flexible anytime and anywhere without depending on one device. This study aims to identify and analyze the constraints faced by the object of research so that the authors can develop a web-based sales data collection system on CV. Tasya Bungsu to help overcome existing obstacles and assist the sales data collection process. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a system development method, namely the RAD method. The process of developing the system and writing program code lines uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database with system design modeling using UML modeling. From the results and conclusions of this study, a sales data collection system was obtained that was able to assist the sales data collection process on CV. Tasya Bungsu became more effective and efficient

Abstract

Traveling often creates valuable moments worth documenting, yet not everyone has an efficient way to record their experiences. This study aims to design and develop a simple travel journaling application called "My Journey" using Android Studio. The application is intended to provide a solution for users seeking an easy and organized way to document their travel experiences. The problem addressed is the lack of simple applications that offer intuitive features for personal travel journaling while prioritizing user convenience. To address this issue, the study employs the waterfall software development model, which includes phases of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. "My Journey" is developed using Java for core functionality, XML for interface design, and JSON as the database for storing user data. The application's main features include the ability to add, view, edit, and delete travel notes. The development process emphasizes creating a user-friendly and straightforward interface. Testing results show that the application performs well on Android devices and meets user needs for documenting travel experiences. From a user perspective, the application provides an intuitive, efficient, and reliable experience. The study also identifies potential enhancements, such as integrating digital maps, cloud-based storage, and social sharing features to expand the application's functionality. With the outcomes achieved, "My Journey" demonstrates significant potential as an innovative solution in travel-based applications, particularly for users seeking a simple yet functional tool to record their travel moments.

Abstract

The development of Android-based cinema ticket booking applications is increasingly relevant in addressing the challenges of modernization and the demand for time efficiency. This study aims to design and develop a user-friendly application with modern features such as real-time seat selection and digital payment integration. The research employs the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Using Android Studio and java, the application incorporates functionalities like seat visualization, payment options, and movie recommendations. The results demonstrate that the application effectively addresses user needs, offering a seamless and efficient booking process. Although the study did not involve direct user surveys, it utilized literature reviews and past studies as references. The implementation of modern technology, such as QR codes for e-tickets, ensures convenience, security, and reduced paper usage. This study provides a solid foundation for future research in developing innovative applications for the entertainment industry.

Abstract

Web-based customer relationship management (CRM) systems offer modern solutions to enhance customer loyalty through improved data management and transactional point programs. This study focuses on developing a CRM system tailored for TELEMARCO-branded stores under PT. Cahaya Mulia Glassindo Lestari using the Laravel Filament framework. The development process adopts the waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system features functionalities for customer data input, transaction recording, and automated point accumulation based on predefined rules. Extensive testing indicates that the CRM system significantly enhances efficiency in managing customer data, improves the precision of point calculations, and provides a user-friendly interface. Additionally, the implementation demonstrates a positive influence on customer retention and strengthens TELEMARCO’s marketing strategies by fostering personalized customer engagement. The adoption of the Laravel Filament framework proves effective due to its responsive design and ease of use, enabling the rapid deployment of web-based applications. This research highlights the practical benefits of integrating modern PHP frameworks in CRM development, particularly for retail businesses seeking to optimize customer relationship processes. Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on CRM system advancements, offering a scalable and efficient solution for improving customer loyalty in competitive market environments.

Abstract

Choosing a projector is a challenge because of the many specifications and features it has. Various factors such as resolution, brightness level, contrast ratio and price must be considered so that decisions are made according to what is needed. Errors in projector selection can increase operational costs and effectiveness of use. To overcome this problem, a decision support system was developed using the WASPAS method to assist in the selection process which provides accurate results and considers the weight of relevant criteria. WASPAS provides flexibility in assessing alternatives based on several given aspectsThis research is designed to assist in projector selection based on several criteria. The criteria data will be processed using the WASPAS method to provide alternative rankings that suit user needs. This system provides the best alternative with high accuracy and can make decision making easier and minimize the risk of errors.With this method, it is hoped that the projector selection process will be faster and more efficient. Apart from that, this system can provide practical benefits in increasing budget effectiveness and improving the performance of the devices used.

Abstract

Servers play a very important role in the world of information technology, functioning to store data and resources that can be accessed by users or clients. In addition, servers also act as the central management point for applications and services that run online. A server can be either hardware or software, and both have a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and web-based applications. To operate properly, a server must be designed to work continuously without interruption, ensuring that data and applications are always available whenever needed. To support optimal performance, servers require higher hardware specifications compared to regular computers, such as large RAM capacity, extensive storage, and fast, reliable processors. One type of server that is widely used by large organizations is the dedicated server, which is allocated exclusively to one client or organization without sharing resources with other users. Dedicated servers are ideal for large companies or service providers that require high reliability, availability, and performance for their applications or services. With a dedicated server, organizations also gain more flexibility in terms of configuration and management, allowing them to customize server resources according to specific needs. Another advantage is better security and flexible scalability, making dedicated servers an excellent solution for applications that demand high performance and maximum reliability.
