Abstract

Abstrak Peran wanita dalam dunia kerja di era modern semakin berkembang. Wanita tidak lagi hanya terbatas pada peran domestik, tetapi juga aktif dalam berbagai sektor pekerjaan. Dahulu, peran wanita terpaku pada ibu rumah tangga yang mengurus suami dan anak-anak. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman dan perubahan sosial, peran wanita mengalami pergeseran. (1)Wanita kini memiliki kesempatan untuk bekerja dan berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial. Hal ini melahirkan istilah "wanita karir" atau "ibu yang bekerja". Namun, menemukan keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi merupakan tantangan besar bagi wanita karir. Profesi Dosen menempati urutan pertama profesi yang paling banyak diminati para wanita karir. Dosen adalah para profesional akademik yang memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan tinggi dan bertanggung jawab dalam memberikan pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai Dosen diharapkan dapat seimbang dengan kehidupan pribadi atau keluarga sehingga dengan adanya keseimbangan tersebut dapat tercapai kepuasan kerja dan berdampak pada kinerja Dosen. Permasalahan tentang tingginya beban kerja Dosen dengan kehidupan pribadi atau keluarga dapat terjadi di lingkungan akademik seperti Politeknik Negeri Kupang. Tingginya Tingkat stress dan kelelahan yang dialami karyawan merupakan fenomena yang dapat menurunkan kinerja dan produktivitas karyawan. (3)Bekerja secara professional sudah menjadi tuntutan hidup namun penting juga untuk menerapkan work life balance (keseimbangan antara pekerjaan – kehidupan). Sebab di samping menuntut karyawan untuk dapat melaksanakan tugas dan fungsi secara profesional, organisasi juga mutlak memperhatikan fleksibilitas kerja pegawai dalam menjalankan kehidupan sosial. Berangkat dari uraian tersebut maka penulis perlu melakukan penelitian terkait Pengaruh Work Life Balance terhadap Kinerja Dosen Wanita melalui Kepuasan Kerja pada Politeknik Negeri Kupang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis pengaruh work life balance terhadap kinerja dosen wanita di Politeknik Negeri Kupang melalui tingkat kepuasan kerja. Kata kunci: Work life balance, Wanita, Kepuasan kerja , Kinerja. Abstract The role of women in the world of work in the modern era is growing. Women are no longer limited to domestic roles, but are also active in various work sectors. In the past, the role of women was focused on housewives who took care of their husbands and children. However, along with the development of the times and social changes, the role of women has shifted. (1) Women now have the opportunity to work and contribute to economic and social development. This gave rise to the term "career women" or "working mothers". However, finding a balance between work and personal life is a big challenge for career women. The profession of Lecturer is ranked first as the profession that is most in demand by career women. Lecturers are academic professionals who have higher educational qualifications and are responsible for providing teaching, research, and community service in higher education institutions. The duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer are expected to be balanced with personal or family life so that with this balance, job satisfaction can be achieved and have an impact on the Lecturer's performance. The problem of the high workload of Lecturers with personal or family life can occur in academic environments such as the Kupang State Polytechnic. The high levels of stress and fatigue experienced by employees are phenomena that can reduce employee performance and productivity. (3) Working professionally has become a demand of life but it is also important to implement work life balance. Because in addition to demanding employees to be able to carry out tasks and functions professionally, the organization also absolutely pays attention to employee work flexibility in carrying out social life. Departing from the description, the author needs to conduct research related to the Influence of Work Life Balance on the Performance of Female Lecturers through Job Satisfaction at the Kupang State Polytechnic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work life balance on the performance of female lecturers at the Kupang State Polytechnic through the level of job satisfaction.. Abstract

Abstrak Strategi pemasaran konvensional saat ini sudah tidak relevan di era digital. Masyarakat kini sudah banyak beralih ke media digital dalam mencari informasi, hiburan, dan berbelanja. Pantene menggunakan kesempatan ini untuk mengunggah video produknya pada kanal youtube untuk memperkenalkan produk terbaru berupa kondisioner Miracles Hair Supplement. Studi ini bermaksud untuk membandingkan dua iklan Pantene yang diperankan Maudi Ayunda dan Keanu Abigail untuk menemukan makna tersembunyi dan tujuan iklan yang sebenarnya. Studi ini bermaksud mengkaji kedua iklan menggunaka teori strategi kreatif periklanan (Suyanto, 2005) dan teori semiotik milik Roland Barthes secara kualitatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa iklan kedua menggunakan strategi yang lebih kreatif. Meski kedua iklan mempromosikan produk yang sama dengan konsep iklan yang serupa namun iklan kedua lebih memiliki kekuatan pada unsur Unique Selling Point, Inherent Drama, dan Positioning. Kata Kunci: iklan, pemasaran digital, semiotika Abstract Conventional marketing strategy is irrelevant to be implemented nowadays. People tends to use digital media in searching information, entertainment and shopping. Pantene uses this chance to upload their video on their Youtube account in order to introduce their latest conditioner namely Miracles Hair Supplement. This study aims to compare two Pantene advertisements casted by Maudy Ayunda and Keanu Abigail to discover hidden meaning and purpose of the ads. The study scrutinizes the ads by employing creative advertisement strategy theory (Suyanto, 2005) and semiotic by Roland Barthes qualitatively. The conclusion shows that the second advertisement has more creative strategy. Although both advertisements promote same product with similar concept but the second advertisement shows more powerful Unique Selling Point, Inherent Drama dan Positioning. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh isu tentang generasi Z yang merupakan populasi tertinggi di Indonesia, dan banyak dari generasi Z telah memasuki dunia kerja. Generasi ini memiliki keterikatan yang rendah terhadap pekerjaanya sehingga membuat mereka cenderung untuk mudah berpindah-pindah tempat kerja. Quality of Work Life menjadi variabel independen yang merupakan hal penting bagi perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kerja karyawannya baik secara fisik dan psikis, dan Work Engagement sebagai variabel dependen merupakan cara dari individu untuk bertahan dan keterikatan dengan pekerjaannya. Penelitin ini berfokus pada Generasi Z yang telah bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta di Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja Quality of Work Life terhadap Work Engagement pada generasi Z. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan metode analisis Regresi Linear Berganda, dengan bantuan alat analisis berupa SPSS 27 for Windows, diperoleh hasil pengaruh faktor-faktor Quality of Work Life terhadap Work Engagement sebesar 0.83%, selain itu taraf signifikansi dari pengujian regresi menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < dari Kriteria Signifikan (0.05) hal ini berarti bahwa model regresi memenuhi kriteria linearitas. Abstract

Abstract A brand ambassador must be the representation of image and identity of a brand. They tend to build costumers’ trust to the product in order to create buying transactions. Recently, there are some local skincare brands who hired korean male celebrities to be the face of their products. This phenomenon belongs to a discourse that is engaging to study, since they have brighter skin then Indonesian especially people who come from East of Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the meaning of visual presentation of the brand ambassador on five advertisements and define the customers’ purchase intention. To interprete the advertisements, the authors apply Kress and Van Leewen’s (2006) visual grammar. The authors also conduct a survey to women respondents that will be proceed quantitatively with SPSS 27. Kewywords: Purchase Intention, Brand Ambassador, Visual Grammar, Advertisment, Discourse. Abstrak Seorang duta merek (Brand Ambassador) harus menjadi representasi citra dan identitas merek. Mereka cenderung membangun kepercayaan pelanggan terhadap produk untuk menciptakan transaksi pembelian. Baru-baru ini, beberapa merek perawatan kulit lokal mempekerjakan selebriti pria Korea sebagai wajah produk mereka. Fenomena ini termasuk dalam suatu wacana yang menarik untuk dipelajari, karena mereka memiliki kulit yang lebih cerah daripada orang Indonesia, terutama orang yang berasal dari Timur Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki makna presentasi visual duta merek pada tiga iklan dan menentukan niat beli pelanggan. Untuk menginterpretasi iklan, penulis menerapkan tata bahasa visual Kress dan Van Leewen (2006). Penulis juga melakukan survei kepada responden wanita yang akan diproses secara kuantitatif menggunakan SPSS 27. Kata Kunci: Niat Beli, Duta Merek, Tata Bahasa Visual, Iklan, Wacana.

Abstract

This study, titled "The Influence of Motivation on Employee Performance Through Employee Competence at Puskesmas in Surabaya," aims to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance while considering the role of employee competence as a mediating variable. The research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the causal relationships between motivation, competence, and employee performance across five Puskesmas in Surabaya. Data were collected through a survey involving 163 employees, utilizing a questionnaire consisting of 54 questions related to motivation, competence, and performance. The analysis results indicate that work motivation has a positive but statistically insignificant direct effect on employee performance, with a path coefficient of 0.162 (p < 0.05). This suggests that while work motivation may have a beneficial impact, other factors might also play a significant role in determining employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation was found to have a significant positive influence on employee competence, with a path coefficient of 0.571 (p < 0.05). In turn, employee competence significantly positively affects employee performance, with a path coefficient of 0.560 (p < 0.05). Additionally, work motivation indirectly influences employee performance through competence, with a path coefficient of 0.320 (p < 0.05). This study concludes that enhancing employee motivation and competence will positively impact employee performance at Puskesmas. The implications of these findings are expected to provide recommendations for Puskesmas management in designing effective employee development strategies and contribute to the literature on human resource management in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze in depth the marketing strategies implemented by Jaya Abadi (JA) in an attempt to promote its refinery products in the global market. Through a qualitative approach combining literature reviews and in-depth interviews, this study concludes that JA has implemented an integrated segmentation, selection, and positioning strategy to reach the global market. In addition, the company has established an effective distribution network, both locally and internationally. The results show that refinery products have significant competitive advantages, namely strength, durability, and respect for the environment. These advantages align with global market trends, which increasingly favor sustainable products. The economic analysis shows that using raffia is good for the environment and can also increase a company's profitability. Therefore, this study concludes that raffia has great potential as an alternative sustainable packaging material and could open up greater opportunities in the global market. Further research is recommended to explore more specific practical applications and the commercial potential of raffia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah tingkat inflasi, suku bunga dan kurs berpengaruh terhadap indeks saham syariah Indonesia (ISSI) secara simultan dan parsial. Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Namun sebelum melakukan uji regresi peneliti melakukan uji asumsi klasik untuk memastikan bahwa model telah memenuhi asumsi. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap data-data semua variabel independen dan dependen selama periode 2021-2022. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan semua variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen. Sedangkan secara parsial, tingkat inflasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ISSI serta jika dilihat dari pengujian regresi linear berganda pertumbuhan inflasi sebesar 0,150, tingkat suku bunga tidak berpengaruh terhadap ISSI serta jika dilihat dari pengujian regresi linear berganda pertumbuhan suku bunga sebesar 0,050 dan kurs berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ISSI serta jika dilihat dari pengujian regresi linear berganda pertumbuhan kurs sebesar -0,616, Besar pengaruh yang disebabkan ketiga variabel Inflasi, suku bunga dan kurs sebesar 75,7%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 24,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar dari penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study is to analyze the effectiveness of green financing in sustainable financing for home industry players in Pematang Serai Village. Green financing is a financing scheme or lending to business actors that is environmentally friendly. Based on Government regulations to be able to receive financing with a green financing scheme. To achieve industrial, social and economic advantages to reduce the threat of global warming and prevent other environmental and social problems, the goal is to shift the goal to a competitive low-carbon economy, so that it can strategically promote environmental investment in various areas of business/economy. The research data is sourced from the results of interviews with industrial homes in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. as borrowers/customers of the Green Financing Program with the help of questionnaires so that the questions in the interview are more systematic. Sampling was carried out using proportionate random sampling technique. The data analysis used was: Descriptive Statistical Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression. The results of the study explained that green credit partially did not have a significant effect on green finance in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, while green product innovation and green technology partially had a significant effect on green finance in Pematang Serai Village, Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency.

Abstract

Export is the simplest form of international trade and is a strategy in marketing production abroad. This study aims to determine the effect of exports on economic growth with a mediating variable, namely the exchange rate. This research method is a research method with a quantitative approach supported by secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the World Bank (World Bank) with a research time of 2009 to 2023. The research data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results explain that exports influence economic growth. Exports as a driving force for GDP, where exports can expand markets, can encourage the flow of capital, and will generate foreign exchange. When exports increase, economic growth also increases and vice versa if exports decrease, economic growth decreases. And the exchange rate can be a mediating variable of the indirect effect of the export variable on the economic growth variable. This means that exports can be a factor that can influence directly without the mediation of other variables. The higher the real exchange rate, the more it will encourage exports and others and be able to affect Indonesia's economic growth.

Abstract

Bhabinkamtibmas have strong motivation to take part in education and training, so that they are more passionate and enthusiastic about learning. Evaluation of Community Policing Policy shows that there is novelty value from this research, making Bhabinkamtibmas a medium for the National Police in carrying out the basic tasks of the state, namely educating citizens from all perspectives. Qualitative research method with an exploratory approach. Research population of Rumbia village community. The sampling technique used in this research was total sampling, namely 80 families with 28 Gen Z children. The number of GEN Z in Rumbi village is 28 people, 1 person has succeeded in holding D3 and 2 people have S1. Currently, there are no children in Rumbia who criticize education at universities. There are 80 heads of families. The reasons behind the desire of Gen-Z and the Alpha generation to obtain higher education are: distance traveled and economic factors. It is hoped that this research can increase public awareness in Rumbia village, South Langowan District regarding the importance of increasing Generation Z's interest in learning in order to increase the existence of adequate education and be able to compete in the world of work in the future. There needs to be more collaboration between village officials and the government to find solutions so that infrastructure is available for generation Z to get adequate transportation access.
