Abstract

The manifestation of human resources begins in the womb until the first 1000 days of life. Increased nutritional needs in the body that are not met while in the womb can result in various nutritional problem such as low birth weight, malnutrition, iron deficiency. The completeness of nutritional elements in food is often experienced by toddlers as having an impact on stunting, one of the influencing factors is the mother’s knowledge about the nutritional adequacy of toddlers and how to process food as Makanan Pendamping Air Susu Ibu (MPASI, weaning food) ingredients. The most common commodities in Srigonco village are green bananas, tuna, and red spinach but these commodities are sold at the Bantur market and families only eat rice, salt and crackers. In April 2023 survey through cadres, there were 30 stunted children. The solution offered is in the form of training, mother’s assistance for 3 months in making daily food menu variants using natural ingredients in Srigonco village with the combination of green bananas, tuna, and red spinach as MPASI which are adapted to the child age group. The service implementation procedure provides training and assistance to mothers who have stunted children and are at risk of stunting.

Abstract

There is currently a severe dearth of evidence-based nursing practice (EBNP) utilization among nurses. Because of this, it's essential to enhance nurses' professional skills through workshops and training. Enhancing nurses' capacity to deliver nursing interventions grounded in Evidence-Based Nursing Practice is the goal of this activity. The EBNP workshop is used to carry out the activity approach. The nurses at Dr. RSUD are participants in this activity, or one of its strategic target audiences. There were thirty persons in Sososdoro Djatikoesoemo Bojonegoro. The information is given through lectures, Q&A sessions, practica, field research, literature reviews, and searches. Results and debate come in third. Prior to training, most people's initial understanding of EBNP was quite inadequate; up to 19 individuals (76%). After participating in training sessions that included talks and worksheets on EBNP, it was discovered that the number of participants who started off with very little understanding had increased by 12 (44%). Three nurses (11%), whose expertise was initially inadequate, improved to good. In summary The asking phase, which involves creating clinical questions, has been accomplished by the nurse. In the first step, known as acquisition, participants seek for the best available data on the subject selected in accordance with the clinical question. In the third step, known as evaluation, participants critically evaluate the data they have found. Still, nurses are unable to perform the subsequent actions, which are Applying, Assessing, and Disseminating. It is advised.

Abstract

Cardiac arrests have occurred very frequently in recent times, but not all members of the public can recognize the signs and symptoms and how to treat them. A heart attack is an emergency condition and requires quick and immediate action to prevent death. Proper education in early recognition of symptoms and how to treat them is very important because the time needed to take a patient to the hospital is often a problem. The aim of community service is to provide education and training to the online motorcycle taxi driver community in providing basic life support. This research design uses analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The accidental sampling technique obtained 100 online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Surabaya. Evaluation measuring tool with questionnaires. Training is given for 2 days with blended learning. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho Test with significance (ρ ≤ 0.05). The components measured are knowledge and readiness to help From the results, it was found that 56% of online motorcycle taxi drivers had good knowledge, and 44% of drivers had sufficient knowledge. For readiness to help, it was found that 76% of drivers showed very good readiness to help, and 24% of drivers showed sufficient readiness. The results of the Spearman Rho statistical test show a p-value of 0.001 (ρ < 0.05), thus there is significance between the provision of training and the level of knowledge of basic life support and readiness to help among online motorcycle taxi drivers in costal areas of Surabaya. The community plays an important role in helping victims before they are treated by health workers. One part of society that often witnesses incidents on the road is online motorcycle taxi drivers. Abstract

Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. The aim of this activity is to increase understanding and empowerment by provide outreach and training for migrants living in Sidoarjo. Before counseling, a 10 minutes pre-test was conducted for the participants. followed by a counseling session, training and discussion session for approximately 60 minutes, and after that a post-test was carried out for 10 minutes. Next, the results of the pre-test and post-test are assessed and data processing and evaluation are carried out. The results of the Paired T-tests show a p-value of 0.00 so the sig value is <0.05 which indicates there is a significant difference regarding the pre-test and post-test data. This can be interpreted as an increase in insight, understanding, empowerment, as well as a change in attitude towards migrants after attending the counseling session.
