Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to apply the Model of Multi-Representation Discourse Learning Model as an Alternative Solution to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects. The subject in this writing is grade 4 students at SD Islam Putradarma Tambun Selatan. The author found some facts of problems in the observation, when viewed from the daily replay of the students' science, from the number of 45 out of 2 classes and only 10 students who were able to achieve the KKM score. The author uses the Multi Representation Discourse Model as one of the solutions to improve the learning process of previous students' science. The Multi Representation Discourse Model is a lesson designed by teachers in order to generate discussion through problem presentation, assignments, and student training. this learning students communicate unofficially so that students are able to express ideas casually according to their own language.so that students can be more active in the learning process. Predicted results with multi-representation (DMR) discursion learning model can improve learning outcomes. There is an influence of multi-representation discursion learning model on student learning outcomes, with indicators of cognitive learning outcomes C1 (Knowledge). C2 (Understanding), C3 (Application), C4 (Analysis), C5 (Synthesis), C6 (Evaluation). In the process of teaching and learning, this cognitive aspect is the most prominent and can be seen directly from the test results.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations in grade IV SDN Cibungkul, it shows that in the learning process the teacher has not used the right learning method so that learning is less interesting and students think mathematics is a difficult subject. Students have difficulty solving problems and are less active in the learning process in class. The results of observations by researchers there were obstacles that were encountered at PLP 2 at SDN Cibungkul, namely the lack of students to be able to understand in recognizing numbers and children who were used as subjects, namely children with special needs (ABK) in grade IV. I made observations after PLP 2 by conducting interviews and testing the children with special needs. Based on this, the researcher wants to try to use the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) approach assisted by number card media in understanding numbers 1-10 in children with special needs (ABK) in Class IV SDN Cibungkul. This study uses the case method with the subject of 1 student with special needs. Data analysis in qualitative research. The findings show that the use of number card media in understanding numbers 1-10 in children with special needs has gone well through various stages using the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning method. Contextual methods assisted by number card media, especially for children with special needs, create a fun and interesting learning atmosphere. The understanding of numbers for children with special needs has made a lot of progress, children no longer forget numbers 1-10 and children feel happy because they use items that are liked by children. In children with special needs, the application of contextual learning methods assisted by number card media will motivate students to participate in active learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in high learning outcomes between high and low learning motivation, and the difference in low learning outcomes between high and low learning motivation held in SD Negeri Sukaharja 1, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. The method used in this research is the comparative method, which is to compare the learning motivation with the learning outcomes of the fifth grade elementary school students. With observation techniques, questionnaires, literature studies, and documentation studies. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that the average score of high learning outcomes with high motivation is 78.86 with a standard deviation of 6.87 higher than the average score of high learning outcomes with low motivation, namely 71.40 with a standard deviation of 2.51. The results of homogeneity testing of the variance of high learning outcomes between high motivation and low motivation. Fcount of 10.96 while Ftable at a significance level of 0.95 (α = 0.05) is 4.88 and a significance level of 0.99 (α = 0.01) is 10.45. This means that Fcount = 10.96> 4.88 = Ftable (0.95; 7; 5) and Fcount = 10.96> 10.45 = Fcount (0.99; 7; 5)., T-test calculation. with the results of t count of 3,971 greater than t table of 2,228 (α = 0.05) and 3,165 (α = 0.01). Then the test results prove that there are differences in high learning outcomes between high motivation and low motivation. So that one of the efforts to maintain the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN Sukaharja 1 is the high motivation given and the ability of IQ which is quite high and the willingness to learn independently. The second hypothesis testing shows that the average score of low learning outcomes with high motivation is 61.83 with a standard deviation of 2.86 higher than the average score of low learning outcomes with low motivation, which is 58.83 with a standard deviation of 2.40. The results of the homogeneity test of variance for low learning outcomes between high motivation and low motivation, Fcount of 1.42, while Ftable at a significance level of 0.95 (α = 0.05) is 4.48 and a significance level of 0.99 (α = 0.01) is 8.47. This means that Fcount = 1.42 <4.48 = Ftable (0.95; 6; 6) and Fcount = 1.42 <8.47 = Ftable (0.99; 6; 6). Then the test results prove that there is a difference in low learning outcomes between high motivation and low motivation. So that one of the efforts to improve the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN Sukaharja 1 is by providing intensive motivation and giving more homework.

Abstract

Science learning must be interpreted as an activity that is observational, experimental and predictive, so that students can understand science concepts appropriately and can be verified. In science learning in grade IV SDN 3 Sukamanah there are several obstacles in learning style material, namely the lack of supporting facilities when science subjects take place such as learning media and practical tools, style material for fourth grade students is still unfamiliar / new to learn like the style what the student means is the selfie or swimming style so that the teacher also requires a lot of time and must prepare adequate support and the learning process carried out by the teacher only uses the lecture learning model, so that learning achievement in science subjects does not achieve the learning objectives which are expected. Based on these problems, the researchers applied the Numbered Head Together learning model to determine the effect on student achievement in science subjects class IV style material of SDN 3 Sukamanah. The research method used in this study is an experimental research method with a quasi-experimental design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The research was conducted at SDN 3 Sukamanah with a population of sixteen people.
