Abstract

Application of cooperative learning models type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) in the improved motivation and learning outcomes science Student fifth grade Elementary School. The purpose f this study is to describe the steps for implementing the model type Student Cooperative Learning Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) and improve motivation and learning outcomes elementary fifth grade science students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) collaborative. Research carried out in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of pe-planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of fifth grade SDN 6 Dawuhan Situbondo totaling 28 students consisting of 15 male students and 13 female students. The results showed that the model of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) can improve motivation and learning outcomes elementary fifth grade science students

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between reading skills and student’s Indonesian learning outcomes first semester of fifth grade of SD Negeri Lumutan 1 Botolinggo Bondowoso District at academic year 2015/2016. This research is a quantitative non-experimental research with correlation techniques. Hypothesis testing is done by using statistical calculations parametric Spearman Rank correlation techniques. The data correlation coefficient calculation using computer assistance with the program SPSS 17,0 for Windows and the result of correlation coefficient sig. (2-tailed) amount 0,803. This suggests that the presence of a very strong relationship between reading skills and Indonesian learning outcomes of students. After correlation test performed, followed by t-test to test the significance of the relationship. Based on the calculation of the t-test is obtained t count equal to 6,27. For the 5% error level two tail test and dk = n-2 = 22, the obtained t table of 2,074. Provided that if t count > t table then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that the coefficient of correlation between student’s reading skills and Indonesian learning outcomes at 0,803 is significant. Based on testing the hypothesis can be stated that there is a significant relationship between reading skills and student’s Indonesian learning outcomes first semester of fifth grade of SD Negeri Lumutan 1 Botolinggo Bondowoso District of academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The teacher is a professional worker, but in reality there are many teachers who do not meet the professional qualifications. Therefore, the professionalism of teachers needs to be improved continuously, with various professional and proportional manners. One of them is implementation of lesson study. This study aimed to provide information and explanation that can be obtained benefits such as: a) improving the professionalism of science teachers through the process of improvement in the ability of the analysis of the problem’s learning; b) promoting creative and innovative teachers in learning process; c) improving quality of learning process that leads to the improvement of the quality of student learning outcomes. This research use descriptive research conducted by three cycles of lesson study in which one cycle consisted of (a) Planning; (b) Action, followed by observation; (b) Reflection; and (d) the next Action Plan. Types of data collected are qualitative data. Process and analysis performed by steps of data reduction, data tabulation, data interpretation and conclusion. From the data process and analysis concluded that the implementation of lesson study on the implementation of effective learning isenhancing the professionalism of teachers. Based on the conclusions of this study can be recommended as one of the solutions the problem of low quality of the learning process conducted by a science teacher at SD Negeri 3 Jangkar

Abstract

This research was conducted in clas 4 SDN 3 Mlandingan Wetan country districts Bungatan 20 students. Studies determining the corelation between learning motivation and learning out comes to IPA subject in clas 4 SDN 3 Mlandingan Wetan this research is Quantitative research, questionnaire held on december 7 to 22 august 2016 while date analysis is used to test the validity, realibility test, and test product moment correlation. From date analysis, it can be concluded that there is a relationship beetwen learning motivation and learning out comes of students in clas 4 IPA subject in SDN 3 Mlandingan Wetan. This show that student who have high motivation so it will have a high learning outcomes and o if the low learning moivation, so the learning outcomes will be low

Abstract

This study was conducted through three phases, namely experimental preparation, design trials, and activity analysis. The learning design designed in this study aims to develop students' skills in measuring. The design involves traditional game namely penteng. Subject of this study is third grade students. The result of this study shows that students’ skill in measuring develop through their activities in using nonstandard measurement tool when they are playing penteng. When playing penteng, students measure the distance of the short wood fall to the hole where the wooden throw using long wood and short wood. The experience they get directly when taking measurements using short wood and jangers delivers them in stating distance using standard units. This is indicated by the process of counting jumps by students when asked to declare the results of non-standard calculation into the standard unit. Through these activities students' skills in measurement can develop

Abstract

Parent's economic condition is a reality that is seen or felt by the human senses about the state of parents and the ability of parents to meet their needs. Parental economic conditions are one of the external factors of the emergence of motivation to continue children's education. Motivation will provide an encouragement or enthusiasm to behave in carrying out activities for someone to achieve a desired goal, without motivation, the activities of one's life will decrease. The diversity of parents' economic background can also affect achievement abilities more precisely on children's learning motivation, so that economic conditions are one of the factors that determine the success of children's education. Most of the parents of students of class 1 SDN 3 Mangaran are in middle to lower economic condition and based on the curriculum vitae of grade 1 students that researchers saw when conducting preliminary surveys, livelihoods from parents of 1st grade students as traders, farm laborers, and civil servants. The number of parents of students who work as farm laborers is 15 people, traders are 6 people, and civil servants are 1 person. In addition, information from class 1 teachers that stationery (pencils, erasers, rulers) and notebooks and drawing books used in teaching and learning activities are incomplete. This study aims to determine the effect of parents' economic level on learning motivation of 1st grade students at Mangaran Elementary School 3 Situbondo District. This research was conducted at SDN 3 Mangaran Situbondo District Class 1. The research method used was non-experimental method. The sample of this study included 22 grade 1 students at SDN 3 Mangaran. The research instrument consists of 20 questionnaires / questionnaires with four answer choices. Questionnaire validity is calculated using biserial point correlation formula. The questionnaire reliability coefficient is 0.973 for parents' economic condition questionnaire and 0.974 for this learning motivation questionnaire is calculated by the KR 20 formula. This is evidenced by looking at the price of t, where t count:6.897> t table: 1.725, so Ha is accepted that there is a significant effect economic conditions of students towards the learning motivation of grade 1 students at SD Negeri 3 Mangaran, Mangaran District, Situbondo Regency

Abstract

National education is organized through formal, informal and non-formal education. National education targets will be achieved if the purpose of learning achieved properly. The implementation of learning is influenced by internal and external factors. One example of internal factors is interest to learn and externals is the school environment. The school environment consists of educators and education personnel, teaching materials, fellow students and the physical environment (facilities and infrastructure). a good school environment in accordance with the standardization of education, it can increase student learning interest and facilitate the implementation of conducive learning. So that the purpose of learning can be achieved well and smoothly. In conclusion, that the influence of the school environment can have a positive impact on learning interest so that learning objectives can be achieved well and smoothly.

Abstract

This study is a class action that aims to improve reading skills and student learning outcomes using PQRST on the theme of living creatures to save the sub theme preserve animals and plants (Case study: fourth grade SDN 2 Tenggir Mangaran District of Situbondo in the academic year 2015-2016 ). This research was conducted by 2 cycles, each of which comprises four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the results of the discussion can be concluded that the method PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, summarize and Test) can improve reading skills and student learning outcomes. Prior to the act of reading ability of students only achieve 56% increase in the implementation of measures first cycle at 73% and increase the implementation of the second cycle of 93%

Abstract

The implementation of character education is through habituation, namely three religious values, discipline values, and environmental care values. Whereas the learning of character values ​​through habituation in SD Negeri 6 Dawuhan, Situbondo District is carried out through programmed activities, routine activities, and spontaneous activities. This study aims to determine the implementation of the implementation of character education for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 6 Dawuhan, Situbondo, 2017/2018 school year, and the subjects of this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Dawuhan, Situbondo, 2017/2018 Academic Year with the number of respondents 34 student. The school is the total sample of 208 students.This study included a qualitative descriptive study. Data sources use primary data and secondary data, while the technique for determining informants is 4 people. Data retrieval method uses observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Abstract

Learning to write poetry is considered very difficult for third-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Buduan District of Suboh Situbondo. The value of learning achieved by students in the writing of poetry has not met the minimum criteria in SD Negeri 3 Buduan is 60. The number of students who have not experienced a 60% mastery learning and mastery learning which has undergone only 6 children. This study aims to describe the application of media images and words to help improve students' ability to write poetry class III Elementary School 3 Buduan District of Suboh Situbondo and to determine the increase in the ability to write poetry Elementary School third-grade students 3 Buduan District of Suboh Situbondo through the application of media images and said auxiliary. This study used a design of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. This study used the draft TOD because of the ability of third grade students of SDN 3 Buduan in writing poetry and yet still not achieve mastery learning. Data were collected by observation, field notes, interviews, tests and documentation. The results obtained in this study indicate that the number of students who experienced prasiklus completeness study only 33.3%. In prasiklus stage, the teacher has not given action on learning to write poetry. But after being given the action in the first cycle, students who received ≤60 value reached 61.1%. While the results of the ability to write poetry in the second cycle shows the number of students who achieve a minimum completeness criteria reached 77.7%. The act of learning to write poetry using media images and helpers managed to improve the ability of third-grade students to write poetry SDN 3 Buduan. It can be seen on the control aspect of the content suitability for using media images and words to help students be able to write poetry in accordance with drawings and words that help exists
