Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of multirepresentation models in learning dynamic fluids on the learning result of students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Langowan. With this type of research, namely quantitative research, true-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design research design, the sample studied in the experimental class and control class amounted to 25 people determined based on random sampling technique. The population taken in this study were all grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Langowan. The research data was generated using a 12-item test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that the average posttest value in the experimental class was 67.68 compared to the average posttest of the control class of 40.32. Then a statistical analysis was carried out in the form of T test analysis (Independent sample t-test) which showed a difference between student learning outcomes in experimental and control classes. Thus, the use of multirepresentation model is effective in improving the learning result of grade XI students at SMA N 1 Langowan. Thus it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning result in the use of multirepresentation models in dynamic fluid learning

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are important as one of the skills needs of the 21st century. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students’ creative thinking abilities using the Project Based Learning model in learning the topic of Light and Optical Devices. Type of pre-experimental research with One-Shot Case Study. The research subjects were Junior High School students with purposive sampling (n=25). Data collection used the Creative Thinking Instrument test. Data analysis is quantitative descriptive. Ideas are collected and then fluency, flexibility, and originality scores are calculated based on the Creative Thinking Skills Rubric. The research results show that both classically and individually, students’ creative thinking abilities according to the fluency and flexibility indicators are less creative, and according to the originality indicators they are quite creative. The research conclusion is that the level of students’ creative thinking using the Project Based Learning model on the topic of Light and Optical Devices is in the less creative category. The Project Based Learning model can trigger students’ creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Di era modern ini, banyak produk minuman dalam berbagai kemasan, baik kaleng maupun botol, beredar di masyarakat. Seiring dengan peningkatan produksi minuman kemasan, jumlah sampah kaleng dan botol plastik juga meningkat, sehingga diperlukan proses daur ulang untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah tersebut. Jika kita dapat memisahkan sampah logam, hal ini akan sangat menguntungkan karena sampah logam bisa didaur ulang menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat, seperti bahan kerajinan atau dijual ke tempat penampungan sampah logam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tempat sampah yang mampu memilah sampah logam dan non-logam. Penelitian ini dilakukan diawal tahun 2024. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan pembangunan system berbasis mikrokontroler. Sensor ultrasonic pada penutup dapat berkerja sesuai yang diharapkan, jika ada objek yang mendeka kurang dari 20 Cm dari sensor, motor servo akan berputar membuka penutup dan akan otomatis menutup jika tidak ada objek. Sensor proximity sebagai sensor pemilahan sampah logam dan non logam dan sensor ultrasonik berfungsi untuk mendeteksi sampah agar motor servo berputar.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan LKPD-Elektronik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Remboken yang pelaksanaannya pada bulan April 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pre-test post-test control group desain. Terdapat dua sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu, kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument yang digunakan berupa instrument tes dalam bentuk LKPD-Elektronik. Berdasarkan analisis data tes, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik materi sistem reproduksi manusia pada peserta didik SMA. Berdasarkan pada hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t mendapatkan hasil yaitu, nilai thitung = 5,91 dan nilai ttabel = 1,69 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel sehingga Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dengan menggunakan model PBL berbantuan LKPD-Elektronik.

Abstract

Limbah cair yang dibuang tanpa dikelola terlebih dahulu akan mengakibatkan turunnya kualitas lingkungan serta estetika di daerah pemukiman yang berada di sekitar tempat usaha tersebut. Limbah cair yang diperoleh dari usaha catering ini memiliki kandungan senyawa organic yang tinggi sehingga dapat mengeluarkan bau yang tidak sedap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, data hasil Analisa dianalisis dengan referensi penelitian terdahulu dan dibandingkan dengan baku mutu air limbah berdasarkan peraturan yang berlaku. Hasil analisis diperoleh limbah catering A menunjukkan hasil kisaran nilai parameter BOD 83 mg/L, Amoniak 12,75 mg/L, COD 3720 mg/L dan pH 5, yang berarti semua parameter yang diujikan limbah catering A tidak memenuhi standar baku mutu berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Nomor P.68/Menlh.Setjen/kum.1/8/2016. Hasil analisis limbah catering B menunjukkan hasil kisaran nilai parameter BOD 8 mg/L, Amoniak 2,5 mg/L, COD 616 mg/L dan pH 5, yang berarti dari semua parameter yang diujikan limbah catering b pengukuran BOD dan amoniak memenuhi standar baku mutu sementara COD dan pH tidak memenuhi standar baku mutu berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Nomor P.68/Menlh.Setjen/kum.1/8/2016.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the effect of cooperative learning model and scientific attitude on mathematics learning outcomes, after controlling for intelligence. The research method used was experimental method with treatment by level 2x2 design. To test the hypothesis, the data were analyzed by analysis of covariance. The results obtained after controlling for intelligence: (1) mathematics learning outcomes in the group of students taught with TGT type cooperative learning model is higher than the group of students taught with Scramble type cooperative learning model, (2) there is an interaction effect of learning model with scientific attitude on students' mathematics learning outcomes, (3) for students who have positive scientific attitude, (3) for students who have positive scientific attitude, mathematics learning outcomes in the group taught with TGT type cooperative learning model are higher than the group taught with Scramble type cooperative learning model, and (4) for students who have negative scientific attitude, mathematics learning outcomes in the group taught with TGT type cooperative learning model are lower than the group taught with Scramble type cooperative learning model. In teaching, teachers must be creative in using learning models in order to create an effective learning atmosphere and can improve mathematics learning outcomes optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran baru berbasis android menggunakan Powerpoint iSpring Suite 11 dalam pembelajaran kimia khususnya pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia di SMA Negeri 9 Manado kelas X. Tujuan lainnya adalah untuk menguji kelayakan dan praktikalitas media pembelajaran berbasis android dalam pembelajaran hukum-hukum dasar kimia di sekolah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kimia, siswa kelas X khususnya kelas X-3, 1 orang ahli media dan 1 orang ahli materi. Media pembelajaran berbasis android dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas X-3 di SMA Negeri 9 Manado. Media pembelajaran yang telah dibuat dinyatakan layak atau valid berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Ahli materi memberikan validasi dengan presentase 88% dan ahli media memberikan validasi dengan presentase 90%, sehingga media dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan di sekolah dan juga media pembelajaran yang telah dibuat dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil uji praktikalitas dari guru mata pelajaran dan siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil angket respon guru mata pelajaran dengan presentase 94% dan angket respon siswa dengan presentase 87%, sehingga dinyatakan sangat praktis untuk digunakan di sekolah.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a new breakthrough program provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture Nadiem Makariem to provide learning freedom to students and teachers in determining the learning process they are interested in. The independent curriculum is a form of improvement from the previous curriculum, namely curriculum 13 (K13). As a new education system, it must have changes in the education process compared to the previous curriculum. This has led to different positive and negative responses from teachers. For this reason, researchers are interested in describing how the perceptions of teachers, especially chemistry teachers, regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 9 Manado. This research was conducted offline by distributing printout questionnaires to 6 chemistry teachers at SMA Negeri 9 Manado. The questionnaire in this study was analyzed using a Likert scale. The results showed that the perception of chemistry teachers regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum was classified as a good category with a percentage of 71%. Teachers agree and even strongly agree on the concept of freedom of learning which focuses on changing student character. The teachers also agree with the concept of freedom of learning offered in the independent curriculum, because students and teachers are free to choose learning media, as well as the concept of independent learning by students with a learning system that can be accessed anywhere and anytime by students. Abstract

In English language teaching, integrating local wisdom into reading materials is frequently overlooked, leading to a disconnect between students and their cultural heritage. This gap often results from the reliance on external textbooks that do not reflect local culture, which can alienate students from their cultural identity and reduce their motivation to engage with reading materials. The research aims to describe the use of local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching. Research focuses on junior high schools in Timor Tengah Selatan, emphasizing local cultural elements like historical sites, legends, and symbols. The data can be obtained through observation on the application of local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching, analysis of lesson plan documents, using interviews, and a series of questionnaires. The interview is addressed to the teachers and students, while the questionnaire is addressed to the students, and the next is distributed to the teachers. The interview used to know how teachers apply local wisdom-based instructional material used in English language teaching. The researcher used questionnaire to find out the students’ and teachers’ responses on the use of local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching. The researcher interviewed three teachers who have appropriate educational qualifications, more than 5 years of experience teaching English, and three students who get high level achievement, medium, and low achievement. The researcher adopted interview guidelines through a semi structured technique. Then the researcher distributed the questionnaires to know the students’ responses on the use of local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching, and the teachers’ responses on the use of local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching. This study included 60 students and 10 teachers engaged in activities featuring local cultural elements. Descriptive qualitative analyses were used to interpret the data, with responses categorized using Likert scale categories measure how strongly respondents agree or disagree with a statement. Local wisdom-based instructional materials in English language teaching incorporate regional cultural and contextual knowledge into the learning process. This approach makes learning more relevant and engaging for students, while also deepening their appreciation of their cultural heritage. Students generally respond favorably to these materials, finding them relevant, engaging, and culturally enriching. Teachers value the use of local wisdom-based materials because they connect students with their culture and enhance their English skills. This method also supports cultural preservation and makes learning more meaningful. The study recommends that English curricula include local folklore, myths, legends, and historical narratives. Texts, audio-visual aids, and interactive projects can strengthen students' cultural connections and improve their language acquisition

Abstract

Graph theory is a topic in mathematics that is still relatively new and developing rapidly. Graph theory is used to simplify and solving problems like connection, networking, travelling or flow. One of the very interesting topics in graph theory is graph labeling. Graceful labeling first introduced by Rosa as β-labeling. A graceful labeling (or β-labeling) on a graph G involves assigning labels to its set of vertices, forming an injective function f that maps each vertex to the set of non-negative integers {0, 1, 2, ..., |E(G)|}, where |E(G)| denotes the number of edges in G. This induces a bijective function f* that maps the edges of G to the set of positive integers {1,2,...,|E(G)|} which the edges label obtained by absolute number of the subtraction between 2 neighboring vertex labels. The Graceful Tree Conjecture (GTC) posits that all trees can be gracefully labeled, a hypothesis still unproven. The quest for graceful labeling, particularly for specific types of trees, continues to be an active zona of research. One of the graph that already proven can be labeled with graceful labeling is star graph. Now we gonna prove graceful labeling for star graph, if each leaf in the star graph is connected to m new leaves. We call it multi-level star graph. Exploring these methods aims to extend the concept to other graphs, contributing to the identification of more gracefully labeled trees.
