Abstract

Literasi digital memiliki peran penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Hal tersebut menuntut guru untuk terus mengembangkan kompetensinya dalam bidang literasi digital. Untuk mendukung pengembangan profesi dan literasi digital guru, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pelatihan penggunaan program referensi manajer Mendeley yang dapat membantu guru dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Dalam kegiatan ini, tim PKM mengadakan pelatihan untuk MGMP Bahasa Indonesia SMP Kota Magelang secara luring. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dibagi menjadi dua sesi, yaitu presentasi dan praktik. Pada sesi presentasi, pemateri menyampaikan manfaat dan pentingnya aplikasi Mendeley. Kemudian, pada sesi praktik, tim PKM memperagakan dan mendampingi para guru untuk menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. Hasilnya, guru-guru berhasil mencoba menyusun daftar pustaka menggunakan Mendeley untuk meningkatkan kualitas karya tulis ilmiahnya.

Abstract

Consumer behavior changes from offline to online, raise several problems that need to be faced by business actors in Kerinjing Village. These problems including complaints that occur in online sales which cause customer dissatisfaction, and the lack of knowledge of business actors in Kerinjing Village, specially in digital technology because of the level of education. Based on the survey, it is known that the most complaints that occur in online sales related to the delivery of goods. The purpose of this training is that online business actors can improve the service quality by providing knowledge about the delivery system, how to choose the right delivery service and knowing how to pack goods appropriately so that they are not damaged during shipping. The training stages start from explaining the importance of managing the delivery system, how to choose the right shipping service, managing the delivery system in e-commerce applications and practicing proper packing techniques and according to product characteristics

Abstract

Abstract Scabies is a disease caused by a parasitic infestation; Sarcoptes scabiei var hominis. This disease is a neglected parasitic disease with symptoms of itching on the skin infested with Sarcoptes scabiei. This disease is not fatal but can interfere with daily activities in infected people. Scabies often occurs in people who live together in groups such as in dormitories and orphanages. The aim of this activity were to find out the incidence of scabies in orphanage children and to carry out treatment and provide education about scabies. This activity was carried out at the Pelintung Village orphanage, Medang Kampai District, Dumai City, Riau Province. A total of 53 children examined were found 28.3% positive for scabies and boys were more infested than girls. In children who were positive for scabies given topical therapy permethrin 5%. In addition to treatment, education was also provided about scabies and it was found that children’s knowledge before and after education had increased. It is hoped that this activity will continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis so that it can eradicate scabies in orphanages. Keywords : children, Sarcoptes scabiei, scabies, orphanage

Abstract

Social Media Marketing Photo Techniques Training for SMEs in Desa Kerinjing Ogan Ilir is an activity to understand photography and photo editing techniques. Within this training, SMEs are given training to develop business potential through the ability to use simple photography and editing techniques to make photos more attractive. The purpose of this training is to increase the selling value of the product. The existence of training provided to SMEs, especially in Desa Kerinjing Ogan Ilir, gives participants the ability to advance to class in the midst of intense competition.

Abstract

One of the problems that often arise in the world of education is the lack of learning resources, educational facilities and their use in assisting the learning process. The teacher's lack of knowledge in the use, maintenance and storage of equipment and chemicals makes the laboratory not utilized as a learning resource. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge and skills to chemistry teachers regarding the management of chemical equipment and materials at the chemistry MGMP in Donggala district a. Community service activities were carried out at the MGMP Chemistry SMA Donggala Regency. Service activities are carried out by understanding of the provision of material regarding the management of equipment and chemicals, then followed by material on safety and work safety in the laboratory. Furthermore, carrying out field practice in the chemical laboratory in the form of guidance and assistance in the management of chemical equipment and materials. This activity is expected to increase understanding in chemistry learning as well as an increase in teacher quality which has a positive impact on improving student achievement.

Abstract

The introduction of train-service crew members is a form of broadening the exploration of kindergarten students in getting to know the various professions that exist within the scope of railways. With the introduction of the railway facility crew, it is hoped that kindergarten students will be able to know various types of professions and the duties of each train-service crew member and expand the scientific repertoire and student experience. Community service activities were carried out at the Madiun Indonesian Railways Polytechnic and were attended by Bina Putra Kindergarten students. The introduction of the train-service crew members was carried out using the storytelling method with video media and field trips. Exploration in the field directly was also carried out in order to find out the means used by train-service crew members in a train locomotive. The activity took place enthusiastically and interactively. The results of the implementation of community service can be concluded that: (1) Bina Putra Kindergarten students increase cognitive knowledge by knowing the profession of train-service crew members and their duties, (2) Students explore the facilities used by train-service crew members directly, and (3) Increase sufficient experience in exploring various simple elements in railways.

Abstract

Cinderamata menjadi satu hal wajib dalam berwisata dan menjadi upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan mengedepankan produk lokal masyarakat sekitar. Cinderamata juga dapat bernilai sebagai sarana edukasi, promosi daerah hingga muatan ekonomi. Pentingnya cinderamata ini membutuhkan inovasi yang tepat. Penelitian ini menjelaskan inovasi cinderamata dilakukan PT. Telkom Indonesia di Desa Wisata Gerabah Sitiwinangun Cirebon yang menekankan pada sisi nilai edukasi, handable, kekhasan dan nilai ekonomis produk. Inovasi yang diberikan berupa inovasi produk berupa pembuatan produk baru yang sesuai dengan segmentasi wisatawan dengan tetap mengedepankan kualitas, harga dan kemudahaan dibawa pulang; inovasi teknik diberikan dalam bentuk pelatihan penggunaan teknik cor yang membuat produk gerabah menjadi produk semi industri dengan kesamaan ukuran namun tetap memberikan kekhasan lokal; dan inovasi kemasan yang bertujuan memberikan perlindungan produk cinderamata dengan dasar keramahan lingkungan serta memberi nilai edukasi produk daerah.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by students can be a form of collaboration to support Government programs, one of which is the verification and validation of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The main problem faced by the local government in managing DTKS is the lack of human resources and objectivity of officers, so the data obtained often does not match the criteria. The Handil Bakti Village initiated the collaboration for verification and validation of DTKS with students as one of the joint-student service programs in the local government. As a form of strategic communication, the local government takes steps starting from planning, situation analysis, target analysis, goal formulation, message framework preparation, message dissemination strategy, and measurement and evaluation. Students verify and validate DTKS by conducting interviews with recipients in 14 RTs. The results obtained are accurate and objective DTKS data following the criteria set by the government and students gain an understanding of DTKS data collection.

Abstract

This service is intended to assist and develop the capacity of the Pekanbaru City Election Supervisory Board in supervising the implementation of the general election so that it runs honestly and fairly. One of the obstacles was identified in monitoring is the lack of public participation in reporting election violations. This is thought to be due to the unavailability of easily accessible reporting media. Regarding these problems, this service team was created and submitted a prototype of an application for reporting election violations to Pekanbaru Bawaslu. This application can be accessed easily by the public and through this application the report as soon as it is sent can be immediately known by the Pekanbaru Bawaslu admin. This service is carried out by: 1) Making a prototype of a violation report application to Pekanbaru Bawaslu; 2) Disseminate the use of the Application to Pekanbaru Bawaslu and others; 3) Simulating the use of the Election Violation reporting application.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to be more creative in preparing learning media. Optimization of website-based media in learning is a necessity. This community service program is carried out to answer challenges for teachers and is carried out in the form of intensive training. The target of the implementation of the activity is teachers at the kindergarten, elementary and special school education levels in East Java. In its implementation, a survey of teachers has been carried out and it was found that teachers need other auxiliary applications to build learning media that students like and are more interesting, and the selected application is wordwall. The Wordwall application is website-based and makes it easier for teachers to evaluate student learning outcomes. From a survey of 213 teachers, 60 teachers were selected to take part in intensive training on the use of wordwall applications. The success of this program is measured by the assessment of participants, that the implementation of the program is going well, in accordance with expectations and providing added value for teachers in developing learning media, this can be seen in the average score given by participants of 3.77 on a scale of 1 to 4.
