Abstract

One keys to achieving learning objectives is designing meaningful learning for students. Meaningful learning is learning that can be related to students' daily lives. Based on the results of interviews with SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Malang, students felt that learning mathematics is not related to students' daily lives. Therefore, the team offers alternative meaningful learning solutions using an ethnomathematics approach. Ethnomatematics plays a role in connecting culture with mathematics. By using ethnomathematics it is hoped that students can also get to know their local culture and preserve regional culture, especially Malang. Implementation of community service activities through four stages, namely training teachers in exploring the culture of mathematical concepts, assisting in the development of ethnomathematics-based teaching materials, assisting in the implementation of ethnomathematics-based learning, and evaluating activities.

Abstract

Metode komunikasi pemasaran sudah berubah dari metode konvensional menjadi digital dan saling terintegrasi. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam penerapan digital marketing, misalnya masih adanya pelaku usaha yang belum memahami manfaat dan pengaplikasian digital marketing. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, maka dianggap perlu dilakukannya upaya untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan terkait dengan digital marketing. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk masyarakat RT 7 Notoprajan yang bertempat di Aula Rumah Wakat Masjid Notoprajan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan mulai tanggal 11-31 Desember 2022. Adanya pengabdian ini pemahaman masyarakat RW 7 mengenai digital marketing sebagai meningkat. Masyarakat sudah mulai mengenal media digital marketing, seperti facebook, Instagram, dan shopee

Abstract

Counseling on Eco Enzyme Based Organic Waste Processing for PKK village meeting hall Pesurungan Kusamba Bali. The population of Klungkung district has always increased from time to time, especially in urban areas. The increase in demand caused by the increasing population in Klungkung Regency has implications for the volume of waste disposed of. In implementing this work program, using the lecture or counseling method. Counseling using an LCD projector with the theme of my work program, namely Counseling on eco-enzyme-based organic waste processing, invited 40 PKK village meeting hall Pesurungan, Kusamba Village, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. The resource person explained material on how to process organic waste into eco enzymes and carried out the practice of making eco enzymes to get a positive response. With this extension work program they can process waste properly and correctly and they can practice directly at their respective homes to make eco-enzyme that is environmentally friendly. The specialty of eco enzyme is that it does not require large areas of land for the fermentation process such as in the composting process. Making eco enzyme is very economical in terms of processing area and can be applied at home.

Abstract

Empowerment and sustainability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is an important matter to pay attention to in order to improve people's welfare by alleviating poverty, increasing employment, and increasing people's living standards. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization regarding entrepreneurial insights that focus on business management and development strategies. The methods used in this activity are situation analysis, counseling, and mentoring, as well as activity evaluation. The result of this service activity is that activity participants gain a good understanding of entrepreneurial insights through business management and development strategies so that they can maintain the continuity of their business

Abstract

One of the threats of degenerative diseases to public health is diabetes. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body does not effectively use insulin. The prevalence of diabetes in the world in 2000 was 2.8% and it is predicted to increase to 4.4% in 2030. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to elderly groups with DM. The implementation of the activity begins with screening activities for elderly people who suffer from DM, found as many as 18 people with DM. Implementation of health education is given to the DM elderly group by providing material about DM disease and its treatment using the lecture-discussion method accompanied by a demonstration for 75 minutes. The results of the service showed that the participants' knowledge of diabetes mellitus increased from 6.56 to 8.22. The DM health education program for the elderly group of people with DM has been implemented and provides benefits for elderly people with DM so that they can improve their health

Abstract

The trident of corruption eradication can be done through prosecution, prevention, and education. To prevent corruption, the community can play a role through various media of counseling and education, one of which is poetry. Poetry has its characteristics as part of the arts, so through poetry, the community can provide anti-corruption messages that are easily remembered and understood by the readers. However, today, there are not many people who can utilize poetry as one of the media for anti-corruption social campaigns, and determine the stages of a tactical and targeted social campaign by utilizing poetry. Based on these problems, an activity focusing on improving skills in creating anti-corruption poetry is needed. The purpose of this activity is to increase the awareness and skills of poets and poetry makers in the context of anti-corruption education. The method used in this activity was discussion and practicing making poetry with an anti-corruption theme. The result of this activity was that the participants were able to understand and produce anti-corruption poetry as one of the social campaign media that can be addressed to a predetermined target group.

Abstract

Awal tahun 2020 ini, kita kagetkan dengan adanya penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Covid-19 dapat menular dari antar manusia, yaitu melalui kontak erat/droplet. Sehingga mengharuskan kita untuk hidup dengan tatanan hidup yang baru dengan kenormalan baru (New Normal). Fenomena ini merupakan hal yang luar biasa yang terjadi pada abad ini. Adanya Covid-19 ini berdampak buruk pada semua lini kehidupan manusia, tidak terkecuali pendidikan. Salah satunya yaitu merumahkan semua siswa. Hal tersebut tentu berdampak pada minimnya sarana pengembangan keterampilan siswa. Keterampilan merupakan salah satu kecakapan yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam melakukan suatu kegiatan tertentu cara terus menerus, karena keterampilan datang tidak dengan sendiri melainkan melalui latihan yang terprogram (kontinu). Sehingga pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ketrampilan anak anak di desa rejosari melalui kreasi pembuatan kerajinan dari barang bekas.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises are an economic force through their ability to absorb labor. One of the business categories that has great opportunities is beauty services because the number is still small in Tasikmalaya. The Covid-19 pandemic is the main obstacle forcing businesses to market their products/services conventionally. Talita Care is a beauty businesses that use conventional marketing. It does not have sufficient skills in doing Pemasaran Digital. This mentoring program aims to develop Talita Care capabilities, especially in Pemasaran Digital. The paper focuses on the application of Pemasaran Digital in Talita Care due to its potential abilities to help Talita Care reach its consumer, even after the pandemic is over. Given the pandemic conditions, the mentoring program is carried out online using Zoom media. This program has succeeded in providing new marketing channels, increasing sales through digital platforms and increasing for Talita Care owner's hard skills in Pemasaran Digital.

Abstract

This article aims to describe community service activities carried out by the implementation team in Kualu Nenas village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. As a village and sub-district that is very close to the city of Pekanbaru which is the capital of Riau province, this village has a very important role as a supplier of vegetable commodities. One of the difficulty faced by farmer groups is that during dry season (sunny), water sources, as one of the important factors in vegetable crops, are very difficult to obtain. To overcome this, this community engagement aims to build the solar photovoltaic generation system as an energy source for submersible pump motors to draw water from the location of water sources and deep well made by farmers on their land. With this solar PV generation system, agricultural locations that are remote from national grid (PT PLN) supply can still operate their pump motors to get water. The stages of this activity are divided into several stages, including surveying the solar PV system construction site, designing solar PV generation system and building solar PV generation system so that it can be operated properly. This activity could run well with the support and cooperation of farmer partners who are actively involved in every stage conducted.

Abstract

The earthquake disaster that devastated Cianjur on November 21, 2022, has left various problems for the people affected by the earthquake. Not only material losses, but psychological problems also arise and are felt by survivors who face difficult situations as a result of the disaster. As a form of community service, the Faculty of Psychology at Jayabaya University Jakarta in collaboration with Putra Indonesia Cianjur University (UNPI) participates in providing psychosocial assistance for disaster survivors. Through field observations which were followed up by measuring stress levels, the results showed that it was necessary to provide training to the community with a community approach in the form of Mindfulness training. The training has been given in 8 locations with different participants from 21 December 2022 to 4 January 2023.
