Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of technological times that are increasingly developing so that it is possible to use relevant learning media such as istawarta. Istawarta is a combination of the terms instagram and warta (news) which is an innovative learning media to improve students' reading skills in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of istawarta in reading skills in IAIN Madura students and to determine the results of using istawarta as the latest innovation in learning media for reading skills of IAIN Madura students in the 21st century in supporting SDGs. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection using observation, interview, documentation of IAIN Madura students who use istawarta. The main data source in this study comes from the istawarta of IAIN Madura students. The data analysis technique consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results of this study found 5 aspects in the reading skills of IAIN Madura students, namely sensory aspects, perceptual aspects, schemata aspects, thinking aspects, and affective aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the inner child experienced by Mandailing students and its impact on their social life in the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The background of this study is based on the importance of understanding unresolved childhood wounds (inner child), especially in the context of Mandailing culture which is known to have a strong, hierarchical, and thick parenting pattern with traditional values. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of several Mandailing student informants who were selected purposively. The results of the study indicate that childhood experiences related to emotional stress, authoritarian parenting patterns, and social expectations from families and traditional communities have a significant impact on students' social relationships on campus. Some of them have difficulty expressing emotions, building healthy interpersonal relationships, and a tendency to suppress inner conflicts. However, there are also forms of resilience that emerge, such as the drive to be independent and academic success as a form of compensation. This study concludes that the dynamics of the inner child in the context of Mandailing culture have a complex influence on the social life of students, which requires a psychosocial approach that is sensitive to cultural values ​​and personal experiences

Abstract

Problematika pendidikan anak saat ini menunjukkan dualisme antara pendidikan formal sebagai basis intelektual dan pendidikan informal sebagai basis keagamaan. Salah satu pesantren yang berupaya menyeimbangkan kedua aspek tersebut adalah Pondok Pesantren (PP) Nurul Hikmah, yang memadukan pendidikan formal dengan kurikulum pesantren dalam satu sistem terpadu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana PP Nurul Hikmah mengupayakan perubahan perilaku santri, mengidentifikasi faktor pendorong dan penghambatnya, serta menilai tingkat keberhasilan pesantren dalam membentuk perilaku santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan mendasarkan analisisnya pada teori habitus Pierre Bourdieu. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi guna menelusuri peran pesantren dalam membentuk perilaku santri. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup tiga temuan utama. Pertama, upaya pesantren dalam mengubah perilaku santri dapat dijelaskan melalui konsep modal dalam perspektif Bourdieu, yakni modal ekonomi (melalui koperasi pesantren), modal budaya (melalui pembelajaran bahasa halus dan kurikulum terpadu), modal simbolik (peran figur kiai sebagai pusat otoritas keagamaan), serta modal sosial (latar belakang kiai sebagai akademisi, tokoh agama, dan aktivis). Kedua, faktor pendorong perubahan perilaku santri mencakup sistem pendidikan, program kegiatan, lokalitas, religiusitas, serta sarana dan prasarana yang berfungsi sebagai arena dalam perspektif Bourdieu. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat meliputi perbedaan latar belakang santri, lambatnya proses adaptasi, kurangnya etika dan kedisiplinan, serta padatnya jadwal kegiatan yang tidak selalu selaras dengan struktur arena. Ketiga, keberhasilan perubahan perilaku santri terlihat dalam aspek tata krama dan penggunaan bahasa Madura, yang mencerminkan dialektika antara modal dan arena dalam relasi subjek-objek dalam habitus Bourdieu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A mata pelajaran IPS melalui media infografis di SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media infografis mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61,375 dan meningkat menjadi 86,375 pada siklus II. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas juga meningkat dari 21,87% menjadi 100%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media infografis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mendukung SDG 4 dengan menunjukkan bagaimana media infografis dapat meningkatkan akses yang setara ke pendidikan berkualitas, terutama bagi siswa dengan hasil belajar awal yang rendah. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan kesetaraan akses pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi guru dan sekolah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media infografis. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa media infografis dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dengan sumber daya terbatas.

Abstract

The poverty rate in Indonesia reaches 24.06 million people out of a total population of 280 million. Various influencing factors include, for example, the still low quality of education. This study discusses the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for poverty alleviation in Indonesia within the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the first goal: "No Poverty." The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach, analyzing secondary data from various sources. The findings indicate that the main challenges include unequal access to education, healthcare services, and employment opportunities. Opportunities lie in the development and utilization of technology. Meanwhile, the strategies that can be implemented include improving the quality of services such as education and infrastructure, conducting social assistance programs, economic empowerment, and targeted social aid distribution. Abstract

This research examines the role of ter-ater traditions in the social stability of Madurese society, especially in Blumbungan Village, Pamekasa Regency using Talcott Parsons' functionalist theory approach. The issue raised is how the ter-ater tradition contributes to social balance at the village level and its role in strengthening relations between residents. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of ter- ater traditions on the social structure and stability of village communities. The method used is qualitative research using observation and interview techniques with community leaders, traditional leaders and residents of Blumbungan Village. The results of research on the Ter-Ater tradition have proven effective in maintaining social order in Blumbungan Village. Ter-Ater functions as a medium to strengthen relations between residents, solving social problems. In the perspective of Talcott Parsons' functionalist theory, ter-ater acts as an important element in the social structure of Blumbungan Village which maintains social harmony and balance. Ter-Ater strengthens social ties between citizens and ensures positive interactions that support stability despite the challenges of globalization and modernization.

Abstract

Kiai tetap memiliki peran sentral di zaman modern. Modernisasi tidak bisa merubah posisi kiai sebagai sosok yang memiliki peran sentral khususnya di pesantren, sekaligus sebagai penciri pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berasaskan nilai nilai Islami. Pendekatan kualitatif Fenomenologis digunakan sebagai upaya memperoleh data, dan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sumber data didapat dari kiai, ketua pondok, pengurus, serta santri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Peran kiai di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Qur’an Tlanakan sangat sentral dalam membentuk perilaku sosial santri. Peran sentral tersebut ditunjukkan pada empat aspek; sebagai pemberi ilmu agama, sebagai suri tauladan yang baik dalam membentuk perilaku santrinya, penentu kebijakan di pesantren, dan pembimbing dalam memecahkan masalah santri

Abstract

International-based social education has become a crucial strategy in addressing the challenges of globalization. This concept emphasizes openness, inclusivity, and sustainability in the education system to develop globally competitive students. MTsN 3 Pamekasan has implemented various innovative programs to support international-based social education, such as participation in international academic competitions, the development of the Learning Resource Space (Rusuh) program, and the integration of pesantren curriculum with a modern approach. This study aims to analyze how the transformation of international-based social education at MTsN 3 Pamekasan contributes to sustainable education. Using a case study approach, this research examines policies, implementation, and the impact of the educational model applied in this institution. The findings indicate that this approach enhances students' academic achievements, strengthens digital literacy, and fosters 21st-century character and skills. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure and teachers’ readiness remain obstacles to its implementation. Therefore, sustainable strategies are needed to optimize the potential of international-based social education in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the apology speech strategies in online buying and selling interactions within the Madurese ethnic community using an ethnocyberpragmatic approach. Apologies are a crucial aspect of interpersonal communication, reflecting politeness, ethics, and efforts to maintain social harmony. In the context of cattle trading conducted via social media platforms such as YouTube, the Madurese people display distinct linguistic practices. The data were collected through non-participant observation of 200 YouTube Shorts videos depicting cattle trading interactions uploaded on the “Dunia Sapi” social media account. The findings reveal that the apology strategies employed include expressions of regret, direct apologies, reasoning, acknowledgment of fault, as well as newly identified strategies such as warnings and reproaches—elements not found in the CCSARP (Cross-Cultural Speech Act Realization Project) model. These results indicate that digital media does not erase local cultural traces but instead serves as a new space for expressing cultural values in online communication. This study underscores the importance of understanding linguistic dynamics in digitally mediated social interactions and expands cross-cultural pragmatic studies through an approach that integrates ethnographic and pragmatic analysis in the context of ethnic online communication.

Abstract

Digital-based inclusive education has become a major focus in achieving the 2030 SDGs by various international organizations. Computer devices and the development of information and communication technology are currently very rapid. Most people have enjoyed this development, but there are still marginalized people such as children with disabilities, through adaptive technology, it is hoped that they can take part in learning like other normal children in an inclusive education setting. This research has an urgency to explain how the strategy of digital-based inclusion education at IBS Padepokan Kyai Mudrikah Kembang Kuning Pamekasan Madura Madura. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was taken from the interviews, observations and documentation which were then analyzed by means of data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing and data verification. The results of this study show that Digital based learning strategy in inclusive education held at IBS Padepokan Kyai Mudrikah Kembang Kuning Pamekasan Madura prioritizes mastery of technology in training the creativity of students. The use of technology in learning can help students with disabilities to to channel their ideas and skills in technology.
