Abstract

This community service program is an effort to popularize the concept of a Children-Friendly Village (CFV) to the village governments and residents as a medium for maximum attention to issues of childhood development through the creation of a healthy environment and the provision of various comfortable facilities for them, which has been conducted during May 2021 in the Oi Bura Village, Tambora Subdistrict, Bima District, West Nusa Tenggara Province with the main orientation of utilizing participant contributions to encourage “Mainstreaming Children's Rights (MCR)” applications at the village level through providing understanding or elaboration on the conceptual substance of MCR, problem identification of children at the village level, and formulating a road-map for the CFV development strategies according to the partners' capabilities. The success of the MCR strategy in managing the village development is highly dependent on the commitment and participation of all parties in the context of fulfilling children's rights in the Oi Bura Village, which have not met the six eligibility indicators as CFV at all. This reflective learning was effective to achieve the defined goals and will be replicated in other villages in the future.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide training to teachers and practice problem making and implementation in elementary schools. So that teachers get direct experience in making problems through the Kahoot application for teachers. The method of carrying out this activity is carried out from the preparation stage to the reporting of activities that take about 1 month. Parties involved in the activity include: 1). Lecturers as speakers and moderators, students as a support team for the implementation of the event. 2). Teachers in SDIT Bina Insani Kediri. Of the 25 teachers who have participated in the training, as many as 17 teachers have submitted the results of the analysis, based on the results of the questionnaire showed 4 teachers stated there were no obstacles in implementing kahoot. While the other 13 stated to experience some obstacles, namely less accustomed to operating kahoot. The advantages of applications when implemented include more interesting and easy to do. Kahoot application can be one of the alternative learning variations. Through the use of kahoot learning outcomes related to the order of the level of truth problems can be more quickly known. Kahoot application is practical, because teachers can directly monitor students who work on problems.

Abstract

The availability of animal feed is one of the main factors that must be considered by farmers to achieve business success. Service activities aim to assist farmers in understanding the use of agricultural waste as a source of feed as a cost efficiency solution. The activity method uses a participatory approach, the service team as a facilitator or study partner and farmers as active subjects in the activity. The activity was carried out in the Sri Lestari farmer/livestock group, Semen Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency. The results obtained in this activity are that cattle breeders do not understand the nutritional content of feed from agricultural waste, but most of the farmers have used agricultural waste for animal feed. In conclusion, the understanding of farmers regarding the nutrients contained in plant waste needs to be continuously improved, and further activities are needed, especially techniques for improving animal feed nutrition.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool to convey a message in the learning process. In order for this material to be understood and attract students, it must be realized. In fact, the teachers at Rumah Ilmu Klakahrejo are less able to design, make learning media so that they do not give concrete examples in delivering materials at the time of learning, the learning activities held by teachers are still dominated by storytelling, there are limited time and knowledge to create media, so that students only listen to the material delivered by the teacher, this results in students looking passive and lackluster. Therefore, the author proposes a solution by providing training to teachers at Rumah Ilmu Klakahrejo to create learning media, because this is one part of modeling techniques that can attract students' attention, increase motivation, and others. So that students can see, feel, and demonstrate in real life not in imagination or wishful thinking. This pegabdian aims to improve the skills and understanding of the making of learning media, with the aim to be able to improve the skills of teachers in media making. The external target in this study in the form of learning media from teachers and the results of this training is to make teachers in Rumah Ilmu Klakahrejo become skilled in creating and designing learning media

Abstract

The ability to communicate using words or speaking is an ability that must be mastered by students in this millennium era. One of the ways to improve this speaking skill is through learning activities in the classroom. However, online learning that was implemented during the COVID19 pandemic has reduced students' opportunities and enthusiasm to learn how speak well through practicing with teachers. The purpose of holding this Community Service is to be able to improve and provide more knowledge to students, especially high school students (SMK) about how to speak, especially speaking in English. This service method is carried out through intensive question and answer to find out the obstacles and obstacles felt by students in speaking or making speeches in English. This online community service was attended by 40 participants from various backgrounds, both students (students and students) and teachers (lecturers and teachers). Many participants began to dare to speak both to ask questions and to express their opinions. From the implementation of this community service, it can be seen that students need face-to-face learning activities where they can talk/communicate directly to their teachers and friends without going through media intermediaries such as online learning activities today.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic at this time, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the villages of Soko, Panceng, Sawo, and Pucuk have to think hard about how the products they produce can continue to be known by buyers from outside their area. Before the pandemic, they were able to sell their products from the hands of mobile salesmen who were usually able to sell products from warungs to warungs and house to house. However, during a pandemic like this, it will be very risky if salespeople have to keep going around peddling the products they sell. From there, we have provided solutions for MSME players to be able to promote their products through advertisements on their respective social media. With the promotion on social media, buyers can contact the seller directly through the contact person who has been confirmed in the advertising information. With that, the sales will change their position to become couriers between orders, which have different work procedures. Sales can be that the products they sell don't run out and the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 is everywhere. Meanwhile, with the online promotion strategy, sales become couriers according to incoming orders and it is clear that the products they deliver are orders from buyers. From the strategy that has been implemented, the actors of the village umkm are still running, marketing is expanding and sales are still working as delivery couriers.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world and Indonesia also has an impact on learning activities in madrassas. Mastery of information technology is currently eeded by teachers, significant changes in learning must be balanced with an increase in teacher skills in making learning innovations that are appropriate to the situation and conditions. Teachers have difficulty in delivering material and limited memory for storing documents of student work. The problems faced by the teachers at MI Al Ma'arif 05 Banjararum can be overcome, one of which is by using the Google Classroom application. This activity is carried out through workshops and mentoring. The workshop was attended by 16 participants consisting of 15 teachers and 1 madrasah principal. At the time of delivering material about Google Classroom, the teacher immediately practiced installing Google Classroom either via Smartphone or laptop. The existence of this activity, the teacher gets a solution in implementing online learning. This activity also had a positive impact on MI Al Ma'arif 05 Banjararum teachers in an effort to improve the quality of learning, especially in online learning.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 insists companies to apply intelligent application technology to their industries. Machine learning as one of field of Artificial Intelligence has used widely in Smart Factory, such as to detect product defects, to predict potential problems and for its solutions. PT. Yokogawa Indonesia, one of global company, wanted to prepare its employees to implement Smart Factory, as its response for Industry 4.0 and competition with other companies. As a solution to this problem, the community service held machine learning training using Python for PT. Yokogawa Indonesia’s employees. The training was held once a week for five weeks. Interaction and discussion online between trainer and participants used Teams Microsoft application. It also used google classroom for managing materials and assignments during this training. More than 50% of participants never learn machine learning before this training. In the last session of the training, questionnaire was given to the participants. As the result, a half of total of participants agreed that their knowledge about machine learning has increased significantly through this training.

Abstract

The national vaccination program is the main agenda of the Government to suppress the spread of Covid 19 in Indonesia, the Government issues regulations or laws and regulations to provide a legal basis for implementing the national Covid 19 vaccination policy, Massive socialization of vaccinations at the national level to the village level is a reference for the distribution of Covid 19 vaccinations, Tebing Tinggi Okura Village is intensively vaccinating for the sake of high vaccination in Pekanbaru City, dealing with misleading information about Covid 19 vaccination, so partners who are residents of Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, Rumbai Timur District, Pekanbaru City need information about the national vaccination program along with its legal basis and legal consequences that accompanies the Covid 19 vaccination program. The approach methods offered to resolve the problems of program partners that have been mutually agreed upon within the program realization period are lectures, dialogues and guidance conducted using online media or directly depending on the Covid 19 pandemic. As a result of the service, the community has an increased understanding of the obligation to participate in the Covid 19 national vaccination program, as well as the accompanying sanctions for people who are determined to be vaccine recipients, but do not participate in the vaccination.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 had a serious impact on many aspects of living, which is health. Reducing the rate of transmission of Covid-19, the government issued regulations restricting the movement of people. Other health problems also arise along with increasing body weight, an unbalanced diet, and poor physical activity. Insufficient lifestyle could induce metabolic disease especially diabetes mellitus. In 2018, Riskesdas showed the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Jakarta increased to 3.4%. One of the risk factors for diabetes mellitus is obesity. Obesity is characterized by increasing body weight as a result of an imbalance in energy consumption and energy expenditure. According to previous services, people who lived in the Angke area had lower income and education than others. This service aims to improve healthy lifestyles and health degrees during a pandemic. The method, which is used for instance examination, measurement of body mass index and giving treatment. The service was held on March 14, 2021, at the Pitakananda Buddhist temple in the Angke area, West Jakarta. Participants and the service team followed the health protocol as prevention transmission Covid-19. The results of the service showed certain participants classify with overweight around 50.9% and obesity over 21.1%. High blood pressure disease was found in about 19.3%. Participants who are investigated are provided with education, drugs, and supplements that could improve health status. The high enthusiasm of the participants encourages us to carry out regular service activities thus healthy eating habits and suitable physical activity could be established, health status could be improved.
