Abstract

This study will discuss the comparison between Written and Oral interpretations Of the Quraish shihab's hijab (jilbab) perspective. The Quraish Shihab's interpretation of the verses about the hijab caused a lot of controversy among commentators and scholars. He said that the veil was a must And He Also Said That It Was Not permissible because it cannot be said to be shari'ah without a clear text. In this research, the writer uses the method of over-the-top and long-winded orality and literacy. This feature keeps the listener focused and on the path of the story. It also aims to reveal the differences in the written intbn/ rpretation (Tafsir Al-Misbah) and the oral Quraish shihab. Through this method, the writer assumes that within a boundary there is a difference in meaning between written and oral interpretation. First, in Q.S Al-Ahzab verse 59 his written commentary Quraish Shihab only mentions the word genitalia once, but in his oral interpretation Quraish Shihab mentions the word genitalia repeatedly and ramblingly "aurat must still be covered, genitalia." Second, in Q.S An-Nur Verse 31 of his commentary Quraish shihab he only mentions the word "show" once. While in his oral interpretation, he mentions the word repeatedly or exaggerating. Third, in Q.S Al-A'raf verse 26 the word clothing has a meaning that is repeated, so that the quote contains exaggeration, length and rambling

Abstract

The concept of nasikh mansukh is used to analyze the conflicting legal meaning of a verse of the Qur'an. So that it is understood that nasikh mansukh is one way to look at the sociological, philosophical and even economic background of a verse of the Qur'an revealed by God. Seeing this it seems difficult to match the use of law in the time of the prophet with what is happening in the present. Because the times are always moving dynamically. But the way to deny a verse in a country has in common is the revision of the law. The purpose of this research is to see how the use of the concept of nasikh mansukh when brought into the realm of state administration. From the results of the analysis conducted by the author on the data, it can be concluded that in essence there is no contradiction in the verses of the Qur'an but each of the verses is perfect for each other, meaning that there is always a connection if our understanding is universal towards the verses of the Qur'an. Furthermore, when alluded to the nasikh mansukh in the realm of constitutionality there is a close relationship with the meaning of the revision of the law. This can be seen from the terms of nasikh mansukh which then have in common with the provisions of the revision of the law

Abstract

This paper discusses Multicultural Education in the Philosophy of Islamic Education. The purpose of this study is to give us an understanding of multicultural education which is a concept, idea, or philosophy as a set of beliefs and explanations that recognize and assess the importance of cultural and ethnic diversity in shape the lifestyle, social experience, personal identity, educational opportunities of individuals, groups, and countries. Such multicultural education is very urgent to be implemented in educational practice. This is because education with a multicultural perspective is believed to be able to grow and develop students to become individuals who are not only proud of themselves (the culture, language, and other specialties they have), but are also able to recognize, accept, respect the different specialties that other people have. ready to live in harmony. Abstract

The ethics of humor in da'wah is a crucial issue, particularly in delivering Islamic messages inclusively and respectfully. This article analyzes the controversy sparked by Gus Miftah's joke about an iced tea vendor, which drew both support and criticism from the public. The study aims to explore the ethical boundaries of humor in da'wah to prevent misunderstandings or resistance from audiences. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through content analysis of the viral sermon and public responses to the joke. This article addresses a research gap by examining humor in da'wah as a strategic yet potentially divisive element, which has rarely been studied from the perspective of Islamic ethics. The novelty of this study lies in its critical analysis of humor in da'wah, considering cultural sensitivities and Islamic values. The findings reveal that humor violating ethical principles can lead to misunderstandings, damage a preacher's reputation, and incite division. Thus, ethical guidelines are essential for utilizing humor as an effective and harmonious da'wah strategy.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of prayer according to Sayyid Abdullah in the Book of Safinatus Sholah in the congregation of Majlis Miftahul Khoir. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study aims to evaluate the understanding and implementation of congregational prayer based on the guidance of the book. The results of the study indicate that the congregation's understanding of prayer material including the requirements of prayer, the pillars of prayer, and matters that invalidate prayer is quite good. However, in its implementation, it was found that the congregation had not been able to fully implement it perfectly, especially in terms of the requirements of prayer, the pillars of prayer and matters that invalidate prayer. Supporting factors for religious study activities include support from the village government, elders, and all elements of society, while inhibiting factors include weather conditions and the age factor of the congregation, the majority of whom are elderly. There is a difference in the level of understanding and implementation between congregations who regularly attend religious studies and those who rarely attend. The study concludes that overall, the congregation has an awareness of the importance of understanding prayer and can implement it quite well in everyday life according to the guidance of the Book of Safinatus Shalah.

Abstract

Differences in the way of understanding the text and context of the Qur'an can cause problems, especially when the principles of the Qur'an are applied in the social life of the community. One of the topics that often triggers debate is the issue of gender equality. This difference in understanding arises due to the various approaches used in interpreting the texts of the Qur'an. Along with technological advances and changes in the times, many modern scholars feel the need to interpret by paying attention to the context of today, so that the Qur'an can be a solution to the challenges faced by the ummah in the contemporary era. This research aims to discuss the importance of understanding the interpretation of the Qur'an both textually and contextually and its impact on social life. Using an analytical descriptive approach through literature studies, this study examines in depth the relationship between text and context in exploring the meaning of the Qur'an, as well as how it affects society. The results of the study show that textual interpretation leads to an understanding of meanings that are in accordance with the time and place of the Qur'an, while the contextual approach encouraged by modern scholars is more relevant and practical to apply in the lives of today's society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a framework of thought regarding ontology, epistemology, and axiology in the interpretation of the Qur'an through a systematic approach in the philosophy of science. This study aims to identify, analyze, and construct a more comprehensive understanding of the three concepts, so that they can form a methodological basis that is relevant to the context of the interpretation of the Qur'an. By using the library study method, this study utilizes primary data from the main literature on the philosophy of science and 'Ulum al-Qur'an, as well as secondary data from journal articles and relevant academic documents. Primary data provides a strong conceptual foundation, while secondary data complements the analytical perspective by adding an applied context. This study highlights how ontology, epistemology, and axiology play a role as pillars in the formation of an interpretation methodology that is not only theoretical, but also applied. As a result, this study offers that through the systematics of ontology, epistemology, and axiology as a framework in a more holistic study of interpretation, it is able to answer modern challenges with relevance and depth, and contribute to the development of the method of interpretation of the Qur'an that integrates philosophical values in contemporary interpretation practices.

Doctrinally ukhuwah Islamiyah is a steel bond that unites the Muslims. But the social reality shows that the steel bond has begun to rust, which makes the ummah no longer feel brothers. Through the title discussion Ukhuwwah Islamiyah as the problem of dakwah, want to be mapped problematic why it can happen. It can not be denied that political aspirations are very fragile to make the people divisive. The experience of everyday life in political culture shows it visibly. Abstract

This study aims to describe the differences and similarities of ḍabṭ and the factors that influence both of them which are affixed to the Indonesian Standard Mushaf (hereinafter abbreviated as MSI) and the Pojok Menara Kudus Mushaf (hereinafter abbreviated as MPMK). This study uses a qualitative method and the data in this study were obtained through library research by collecting data from circulating mushafs to obtain significant results. This study concludes that the study of Ḍabṭ science (harakat and punctuation) is very important in the journey of changes in the Al-Qur'an mushaf and its early circulation in the archipelago in the 19th century, at least two popular mushafs circulated, namely Bahriyah and Bombay which became the forerunners of MSI and MPMK, both mushafs were familiar to the consumption of Indonesian Muslim society before standardization, until finally in 1984 the standardization of mushafs became an important reference regarding the legality of the circulation of mushafs in the archipelago

Abstract

Ulumul Qur'an, as a scientific discipline that studies in-depth aspects of the Qur'an, has a very important role in developing the Islamic education curriculum. In an educational context, a deep understanding of the Ulumul Qur'an can help educators and students understand the meaning, context and application of the teachings of the Qur'an in everyday life. This journal will discuss the role of Ulumul Qur'an in the development of the Islamic education curriculum through several sub-chapters which include: Definition and Scope of Ulumul Qur'an, Significance of Ulumul Qur'an in Islamic Education, Implementation of Ulumul Qur'an in the Curriculum, Challenges in Integrating the Ulumul Qur'an, and Recommendations for Curriculum Development. By referring to relevant data and case examples, it is hoped that this journal can provide in-depth insight into the importance of the Ulumul Qur'an in Islamic Education.
