Abstract

The changing landscape of 21st-century education demands that mathematics learning is no longer oriented towards procedural reproduction, but rather towards the development of higher-order thinking skills, contextual problem-solving, and students' affective engagement. The integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is seen as a potential pedagogical strategy to address these challenges. Although various studies report the effectiveness of PjBL-STEM on mathematics learning outcomes, studies that comprehensively integrate learning effectiveness, learning differentiation, and students' affective dimensions are still limited. This study aims to systematically examine the application of the STEM-based PjBL model in mathematics education with a focus on learning effectiveness, differentiation practices, and students' affective dimensions. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with reference to the PRISMA guidelines. Articles were collected from Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and ERIC databases, with a publication range of 2015–2025. Twelve articles that met the criteria were analyzed using thematic content analysis and narrative synthesis. The review results show that STEM-based PjBL consistently has a positive impact on mathematical cognitive outcomes, problem-solving abilities, and 21st-century skills. However, learning differentiation strategies are generally not explicitly designed, and affective variables are often required as additional variables. These findings emphasize the need to develop integrative and inclusive PjBL-STEM designs that systematically consider diverse student characteristics.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a critical skill for high school students, yet conventional textbooks often trigger learning boredom and anxiety due to their rigid structures. This qualitative descriptive study investigates how the integration of pop culture media and bilingual texts affects students' reading comprehension and engagement. Through purposive sampling, twelve 12th-grade students participated in asynchronous semi-structured interviews via WhatsApp Voice Notes. The findings reveal four key integration strategies: (1) utilizing visually appealing slice-of-life digital fiction to eliminate boredom; (2) leveraging code-mixing as a psychological comfort zone to reduce reading anxiety; (3) employing bilingual contextual clues for autonomous vocabulary acquisition; and (4) boosting intrinsic motivation for real-world English application. The study concludes that pop-culture-based bilingual materials bridge the gap between formal education and students' daily linguistic realities, fostering a more natural and engaging environment for language acquisition.

Abstract

Era disrupsi digital menuntut adaptabilitas sumber daya manusia yang tinggi, namun Indonesia justru menghadapi tingginya angka pengangguran akibat ketidaksesuaian kualifikasi lulusan pendidikan dengan kebutuhan nyata dunia industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji fenomena kesenjangan keterampilan kerja sebagai krisis ekonomi serta mengevaluasi efektivitas respon kurikulum nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pencarian literatur seperti Google Scholar, SINTA, dan ERIC, dimana artikel yang dianalisis berjumlah 19 artikel yang terbit tahun 2016 hingga 2026, subjek yang analisis difokuskan pada literatur terkait kebijakan pendidikan dan implementasi kurikulum di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa krisis ekonomi berakar dari defisit kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan rendahnya literasi digital lulusan yang tidak relevan dengan kebutuhan industri mutakhir. Faktor utama kegagalan tersebut mencakup keterlibatan industri yang sekadar tokenisme (sebatas MoU administratif), kelambanan birokrasi pendidikan, minimnya paparan kompetensi pendidik terhadap industri modern, serta sistem evaluasi yang masih berorientasi pada kemampuan di atas kertas. Kurikulum nasional masih gagal merespon krisis ekonomi karena adaptasi yang lambat dan kolaborasi yang belum substansial, sehingga ekosistem pendidikan lebih terfokus mencetak lulusan yang berfokus pada ujian teori daripada individu yang siap dan terampil bekerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep matematika yang terdapat pada timbangan upacara munggah pernikahan Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap timbangan yang terdapat di Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang. Analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa timbangan dalam upacara munggah pernikahan Palembang mengandung konsep matematika. Dari segi bentuk, timbangan merepresentasikan konsep geometri berupa segitiga sama kaki. Dari segi proses penimbangan, ditemukan konsep matematika seperti membandingkan, menentukan kesetimbangan, dan melakukan estimasi yang berkaitan dengan konsep perbandingan, kesamaan, dan penaksiran. Konsep tersebut dapat dikaitkan dengan materi pembelajaran matematika di tingkat SMP, yaitu persamaan linear satu variabel, operasi aljabar, dan rasio. Dengan demikian, timbangan dalam upacara munggah pernikahan Palembang memiliki potensi sebagai sumber pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Transformasi dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut guru untuk mengembangkan kompetensi profesional yang adaptif, terutama dalam menghadapi kebijakan pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Era kebijakan deep learning menuntut guru dengan kemampuan adaptasi tinggi dalam pembelajaran. Makalah ini mengkaji peran manajemen pendidikan dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan profesional guru yang adaptif terhadap implementasi kebijakan deep learning. Melalui manajemen pendidikan yang efektif, guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan profesional dan integrasi teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan profesional guru yang adaptif melalui manajemen pendidikan dalam era kebijakan deep learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah terkait. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel responden yang merupakan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan bermakna, kolaborasi antar guru, dan dukungan institusional merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Implikasi temuan diharapkan memberi wawasan bagi pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam merancang program pengembangan profesional guru yang responsif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the circuit training model on improving the physical condition of futsal players at ZFCA Cidahu. The research method used a quasi-experimental quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 20 players determined through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments included a 20-meter sprint test, Illinois Agility Run Test, Standing Long Jump, Bleep Test, and zigzag dribbling test. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to measure the effectiveness of the intervention over four weeks. The results showed a significant increase in all tested physical components. For the speed variable, a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 was obtained with a t-count of 8.405 > t-table of 2.093. Meanwhile, for the agility variable, there was a decrease in average travel time of 2.29 seconds with a significance of 0.000. These findings prove that systematic circuit training interventions can optimize neuromuscular adaptation and physical performance of players. It was concluded that a structured and measurable circuit training program is an effective method for improving players' physical readiness and mobility to meet the demands of high-intensity futsal matches. Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has significantly influenced language learning, particularly in writing instruction. One of the most widely used AI tools is ChatGPT, which offers various features that can support students in developing their writing skills. This study aimed to explore students’ perceptions toward the use of ChatGPT in improving writing skills. The study employed a mixed-method sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 second-semester students of the English Education Study Program at UMNU Kebumen, while qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with five selected participants. The findings revealed that students generally had positive perceptions toward the use of ChatGPT. Among the four indicators, Perceived Usefulness obtained the highest mean score (3.94), followed by Perceived Benefits (3.78) and Perceived Ease of Use (3.63). Meanwhile, Concerns and Anxieties showed a moderate level (3.42), indicating that students still had concerns regarding dependency, plagiarism, and information accuracy. The qualitative findings further showed that students viewed ChatGPT as a helpful tool for generating ideas, improving grammar, enriching vocabulary, and increasing writing confidence. However, students also emphasized the importance of using ChatGPT critically and responsibly. Overall, this study concludes that ChatGPT has strong potential to support EFL students’ writing development when used appropriately as a supporting learning tool.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the low learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), among fifth-grade students at SDN Sumurlaban I, which are influenced by conventional instructional practices and limited utilization of technology-based media. The objective of this study is to examine the effect of using Educaplay media on IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. A quantitative approach was employed in this research using a quasi-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection was conducted through pretest and posttest, while data analysis utilized descriptive statistics, normality testing, and paired sample t-test assisted by IBM SPSS on the material “My Regional Cultural Heritage”. Findings indicated an increase in the mean score from 47.71 in the pretest to 75.63 in the posttest. The normality test results showed a significance value greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The paired sample t-test results obtained a significance value of less than 0.001, leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ. in the tested learning context.

Abstract

Era Industri 4.0 menuntut transformasi total dalam tata kelola pendidikan. Digital leadership menjadi urgensi utama karena kepala sekolah berfungsi sebagai nakhoda dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam administrasi dan budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis kompetensi kunci kepala sekolah, strategi implementasi, serta tantangan sistemik dalam kepemimpinan digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) melalui protokol PRISMA terhadap artikel jurnal ilmiah dalam rentang waktu 2018–2026. Pencarian dilakukan pada database Scopus, ERIC, Google Scholar, dan DOAJ, menghasilkan 25 artikel final yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi utama meliputi literasi digital, manajemen sistem informasi, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Implementasi administrasi digital terwujud dalam penggunaan e-office dan LMS, sementara tantangan utama mencakup resistensi SDM dan keterbatasan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya standardisasi pelatihan kepemimpinan digital bagi kepala sekolah untuk mendukung ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi aktif siswa dan kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan serta memahami konsep abstrak pada materi Bilangan Rasional. Permasalahan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh proses pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dengan penggunaan buku teks dan papan tulis sehingga pembelajaran cenderung monoton dan kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa LKPD elektronik berbantuan Liveworksheet dan slide interaktif pada materi Bilangan Rasional di jenjang SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat dengan melibatkan dua ahli materi, dua ahli media, dan dua ahli bahasa sebagai validator, serta dua guru dan 10 siswa kelas VII G sebagai subjek uji coba. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respons guru, angket respons siswa, observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif kuantitatif melalui uji validitas dan uji praktikalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, LKPD elektronik berbantuan Liveworksheet dan slide interaktif layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran visual yang menarik, interaktif, dan terstruktur.
