Abstract

This research examined the effect motility quality of Muscovy semen. The quality were used to room temperature levels of semen diluter.   Fress Muscovy semen diluted in 1. Ringer lactate 2. otsu RL dan 3. Sodium chloride and levels 5,10,15X and 0 (control). The result showed that the treatments not significantly affected motility of semen, the highest Muscovy semen in the ringer lactate diluted 5 and 10X (50,00 ± 6,67); (45,55 ± 6,93).The result of the study indicated not significantly affect motility Muscovy semen of determine and diluted.

Abstract

Catfish is a species of freshwater fish are easier to develop and market opportunities are promising, addition catfish also have good taste, high nutritional content, and the price is relatively cheap so it has the potential to be developed. However, based on preliminary surveys and the information obtained is known that some fish farmers pay less attention to the procedures or techniques fish rearing African catfish correct and profitable. therefore, this study aims to determine the technical and economic aspects of the business of enlarging catfish in the Fish Farmers Group Guntung Umbrella Village District of Runway Ulin Banjarbaru. This research uses survey and purposive sampling method. Sample been 8 each group of farmers with a simple random sampling method. The results showed that the technical enlargement conducted intensive catfish, catfish seed stocked two to three times a year, carried out during the rainy season. Economic aspects of the business of enlarging catfish profitable and worth the effort because of the value of production and the selling price is above the BEP production value of 300 kg and BEP Rp. 14 603, - / kg and Revenue acquisition cost ratio (RCR) effort is 1.28.

Abstract

The one of  genes that play an important role in the body metabolism that is closely related to productivity is the Leptin gene. This study aims to determine the assosiation polymorphism of exon 2 Leptin  gene  based on Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) with birth weight of Balinese cattle. This study used 47  DNA of Balinese cattle, their  birth weight (BW), average daily gain (ADG) and yearling weight (YW) data, that were obtained from BPTU HPT Pulukan Bali. The isolation of DNA using a high salt concentrated method and DNA target was duplicated by  PCR machine. Analysis genetic mutation of Leptin genes was performed by evaluating SNP in Exon 2 at R25C  and R25H, from direct sequencing results, using Bioedit and MEGA 5.2 program. The association of Leptin gene polymorphism with BW, ADG and YW were  analyzed using variance analysis. The result showed that there were For genotypes based on SNP R25C and R25H, ie CC, CT, CA, and AA. There were  no assosiation between Leptin gene polymorphism with birth weight (BW), average daily gain (ADG) and yearling weight (YW) on Balinese cattle.

Abstract

The growth responses of the coffee seeds toward of fruit maturity and application of plant growth regulators was conducted to determine effect of fruits maturity, the effect of application of plant growth regulators, and the interaction of both factors toward germination and growth of coffee seeds. This research obtained for three mounth on January to Aprl 2018. The research was conducted in Kabo Street, Mulia 6, Swarga Bara Village Sangatta Sub-distrct East Kutai. This research uses is Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of factorial experiments each of three treatment factorial. First factor is fruit maturity (B) are : B1 = brown, B2 = red, B3 = orange. Second factor is application of plant growth regulators (T) are T1 = 100 mgL-1,  T2 = 150 mgL-1,  T3 = 200 mgL-1. The research result to showed was interacton of red fruit maturity and 1500 mgL-1 of plant growth regulators (B2T2) giving are effected significantly of increasing parameter on germination percentase is 100,00%, time germination is 18,233 days, , and index vigor is 0,605, roots long is 7,080 cm, and plant long is 7,707 cm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of soil fertility in terms of chemical kriteria soil in forest areas with special purpose. From this study, information about the condition of the land, as consideration in the context of the assessment and soil conservation efforts to be undertaken in the future. The research was conducted in September 2015 to November 2105, in the forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) UMP Mungku Baru Village Rakumpit District of the city of Palangkaraya. Object of research, namely land under forest stands, by: (a) take samples of the soil in the topsoil at a depth of between 0-20 cm (above), 20-30 cm (the middle one), 30-60 cm (center 2), and 70-100 cm (in), land was taken in composites,  soil samples were taken at each distance + 1 meter direction of the wind, then mixed and stirred evenly (composite), then taken of approximately 1 kg to be analyzed in laboratory, and (b) as many as four soil samples have been taken and then dinalisis in the laboratory for chemical soil properties known circumstances. The results of soil analysis compared with the assessment criteria of physical and chemical properties of land according to the Institute for Land Research Center, Bogor, the Status fertility of the soil at a depth of 0-30 cm is moderate to high, while the planting depth 30-60 cm of low fertility, although the contribution of organic materials from the vegetation on it  high.

Abstract

Fishing methods increasingly progressing toward more progress with the progress of time. New concepts have been introduced to improve the catch by exploiting fish behavior to aim arrest. Fishing tools exist continuously developed and refined to obtain the maximum catch without forgetting the preservation of aquatic resources are exploited.The purpose and usefulness of the research: to determine the speed of sinking of yarn, absorption is the ability to absorb water during immersion, know the effect of resistance of these materials before and after immersion in water because, to know the elasticity, where elasticity is the ability of a material back to its original length after no change due to tensile force. Usefulness of the research are: to be able to find the resistance of the material marlon as material webs. And can provide information to fishermen about the type of netting material is best. As literature for education and as an to fishing in the future.The method used in this study is completely randomized design (RAL) to calculate the speed of sinking and repeated 12 repetitions, while absorption, elasticity and resilience thread design was completely randomized in a factorial design form.F-test for the sinking speed, absorption, elasticity and resilience yarn ari A factor (number of threads) provides a very real difference. Factor B (soaking time) on the speed and absorption also showed highly significant, while on the elasticity of the factor B (soaking time) was not significantly different, whereas for endurance significantly different. Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of different cutting age on the crude fiber content of ramie (Boehmeria nivea L. Gaud) as forage, and to know the optimum cutting age of ramie  for ruminant feed. The research was carried out in Margamulya Village, Cikandang District, Garut Regency, from August to October 2018. Crude fiber analysis was carried out at the Ruminant Animal Nutrition Laboratory and Animal Food Chemistry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University. The study used a completely randomized design with four (4) treatments and five (5) replications,  i.e.  P1 = 15 days of cutting age, P2 = 30 days of cutting age, P3 = 45 days of cutting age, P4 = 60 days of cutting age. To find out the differences in effects between treatments, Duncan's multiple range test was carried out. The results showed that the cutting age affected the crude fiber content of ramie. The older cutting age had the increased crude fiber content. The optimum cutting frequency of ramie for forage was  30 days with ADF content 38%, NDF 53.2%, hemicellulose 34.1%, cellulose 14.8% and lignin 4.0%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the amount of microbial chicken meat after soaked in turmeric juice (Curcum domestica Val) with different storage period at room temperature. A total of 1 kg of broiler chicken and turmeric juice 7% is used in this study. With a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) step, five treatments and four replications with each replication amounting to one sample. The number of samples used are as many as 40 samples with 20 samples for testing the number of microbes and 20 other samples for organoleptic testing of color, smell and texture of broiler chicken meat. The treatment performed on the sample was K0 = broiler meat without treatment, K3 = broiler chicken storage for 3 hours, K6 = broiler chicken storage for 6 hours, K9 = broiler chicken storage for 9 hours, K12 = broiler chicken storage for 12 hours. The results showed that the storage of broiler chicken meat at room temperature and has been soaked for 30 minutes on the best turmeric juice 7% is the storage for 3 hours, while the organoleptic test can increase the level of fondness in the smell of meat.

Abstract

This study aims to research of analysis farming and utilization dynamics of paddy field in village Tanjung Sari of Bongan Regency.  Research carried out for three months starting from February 2015 to June 2015 in the village Tanjung Sari of Bongan Regency. This study used production analysis  to know about revenue, total cost and R/C ratio of flat farmer and then used multiple linier regression analysis  in discuss about of effect between income with seeds, fertilizer , pestiside, labor.  Beside that to disscuss of utilization dynamics of paddy field with description hectarage which owned by farmers from 2004 until 2014. Wherein location determination is done deliberately called purposive sampling called purposive sampling.   The result showed that average revenue of farmers is Rp 10.244.000 and income of farmers is Rp. 8.248.677.           While farmers income earned Rp. 8.248.677.   With return cost ratio was 5.04.  It means that the paddy field of farming give much benefit to the farmers.  For that factors that significantly as fertilizer and labor. While the seeds and insectisicider had no significant effect. Land used made by farmers in order to increase farmers income.  Therefore from year to year area used by farmers in line with result obtained production.

Abstract

The main commodity of crops that most contributes to agricultural development is rice.           The purpose of this research was to determine differences in income, differences in the value of production and income risk, as well as the effect of production factors on the risk of production of organic and non-organic rice farming in Karangasem, Ketapang Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Determination of the number of samples with the Slovin formula, obtained 89 farmers as respondents consisting of 44 organic farmers and 45 non-organic farmers. Income differences were analyzed using the average difference test, to determine differences in the value of production risk and income using the coefficient of variation (CV), while to determine the effect of production factors on production risk using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that organic rice farming income (Rp. 7,872,844) was greater than non-organic rice farming income (Rp 4,963,953) with a difference (Rp 2,908,891) and was significantly different. Based on the value (CV), the risk of organic rice farming production is 0.27 higher than the value (CV) of non-organic rice farming 0.21. The value (CV) of non-organic rice farming income risk is 1.01 higher than the value (CV) of organic rice farming of 0.85. Production factors that influence the risk of organic rice farming production are labor, and for non-organic rice farming is synthetic fertilizer.
