Abstract

The purpose of the KKN-PPM program is to increase the knowledge of the breeders about a proper duck raising system. The method of implementation in the field includes counseling, training and assistance, and program monitoring and evaluation. The evaluation phase is carried out on the performance of students by measuring the effective working hours of students (JKEM) which include the main activities, individual and social, and measuring the level of technology adoption by farmers using questionnaires and interviews. Interviews were conducted with 45 members of farmer groups, interviewed with questionnaire guidelines. The results of the KKN-PPM activities are that each participant has spent an effective amount of student work totaling 169 hours consisting of main activities 86 hours (± 50 percent), for individual activities of 52 hours (± 30 percent) and social activities of 31 hours (± 20 percent). The highest adoption rate of breeders was in the types of livestock raising activities 95.56 percent and livestock health 88.89% while for fermentation, hatching and egg processing activities the adoption rates were 62.22 percent, 66.67 percent and 77.77 percent. The level of adoption of farmers for the technology provided is influenced by factors in the agricultural system they live in, there are other social activities that affect the availability of time to carry out their farming activities and whether there are additional costs if they use the technology. How to cite:Malelak, G. Abstract

One of the learning management system learning is Edmodo. Edmodo was developed based on the principles of group-based classroom management and social media. E-learning is expected to be able to reduce obstacles in the implementation of teaching and learning activities that are no longer limited by distance and time. Teachers and students no longer need to come face to face and interact through the e-learning application. Edmodo learning media is used by students, teachers and parents to monitor their children's learning development. Students who use Edmodo can discuss with each other whenever and wherever subjects with other students related, increase the interaction of lecturers with students, they can be more independent in learning, and material that has been uploaded by lecturers can be downloaded by students and used as a learning reference source. In addition, assignments are given through the assignment and quiz features that have a time limit so that they can train discipline in doing the task. Abstract

Associative and directed thinking are two important ways when a person thinks of an idea that is directly continuous with the emergence of other ideas and in the end has been coherently determined the direction of problem solving. Things like that are often experienced by everyone, especially high school students. The various school assignments they have to do, socialize with school friends, and interact with family at home are so complex that the problems exist that require students to think critically and solve problems well. Bebras Challenge is one of the contests that directs participants, especially high school level, to practice problem solving skills through learning activities by working on problems. The Bebras Challenge activity was attended by various levels of schools, from the lowest levels of Elementary School to Senior High School. SMA Negeri 7 Semarang was one of the participants who took part in the Bebras Challenge, students were encouraged to practice problem solving skills in the contest. The end result of the Bebras Challenge activity is to improve students' abilities in dealing with various problems, one of which is that in the field of subjects in schools, they are able to answer questions in different ways and have the same final result.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i3.4320

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit all countries in the world is a sudden humanitarian disaster. This virus is highly contagious, so it is necessary to make direct contact to prevent widespread transmission. Meanwhile, for people who have had contact with people with COVID-19, it is necessary to carry out tracing and activity activities so as not to cause more people to be exposed to COVID-19. Therefore, a supporting infrastructure is needed in the form of web and mobile-based applications to monitor self-quarantine for COVID-19 People Under Supervision (ODP). The Informatics Engineering Study Program, Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Jakarta State Polytechnic developed a web-based and mobile-based software application made for the Depok Jaya Community Health Center to support ODP COVID-19. ODP can report complaints and grievances through the mobile application, while the Depok Jaya Community Health Center conducts monitoring through a web-based application. Abstract

Griya Pesona Asri (GPA) is a residence which located in the northern part of Surabaya City. The specific location is in Medokan Ayu, Rungkut District. Since 2019, this residence has been used SiWarga electronic application to improve citizen administration. In the beginning 2020, the leader of RT 04 RW 10, designed an electronic citizen financial system as the development of SiWarga GPA that has been successfully used for data collection of local residents. Some of partner problems are financial management transparently; non-cash payment system to facilitate citizen’s fee transactions; reduce citizens risk overdue arrears. In relation with these partner problems, some activities that have been carried out begins with discussion housing residents and management, followed by the management and development of non-cash payment system features until socialization the operating system. A number of RT managers have mastered to use several, they have been quite proficient and enthusiastic. The residents have been able to monitor a number of arrears in payment. Administrators of RT no longer need to collect money. The administrators have also been able to know the total expenditure and income so that it can be used for the cash budgeting.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i2.4347

Abstract

The development of SMEs is still one of the development priorities in Indonesia. One example is the Dewandaru Batik industry in Malang Regency. The business, which was started in 2017 and is engaged in batik cloth production, carries out the production process manually with limited tools. The price that is determined tends to be very cheap compared to batik marketed through the market and online galleries. Moreover, every month's limited production is the impact of the lack of technology used and little marketing. Marketing and utilization of appropriate technology are still the main obstacles faced; therefore, the solution to this problem is digitizing the marketing mix and proper technology. The method used is identifying problem-solving and assistance for increasing industrial innovation and digital marketing. The result of this activity was an increase in Dewandaru's batik industry's productivity with the help of a batik stamp tool and a dipping tub used for the coloring process. Furthermore, increasing quality makes for a broader marketing market. Batik Dewandaru also experienced improvements in business management because it made simple financial reports on the results of business management training.

Abstract

The consumption of foods that contain balanced nutrition is one way to increase immunity, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, it is necessary to raise awareness of the consumption of food with balanced nutrition for health workers, especially radiographers. One of the efforts that can be done is by providing education to increase radiographer knowledge and interest in consuming foods with balanced nutrition. This community service is in collaboration with IKMARA GUBAYO in the form of online counseling activities. Program evaluation is carried out quantitatively by calculating the frequency distribution of the knowledge level and interest before and after the activity. The results showed an increase in the level of participant’s knowledge about balanced nutrition by 25.45% and an interest in implementing balanced nutrition consumption by 89%. Participant’s knowledge of balanced nutrition increased by 27.4%, knowledge of fixed macronutrient sources, knowledge of vitamin sources increased by 27.4%, knowledge of the benefits of mineral substances increased by 27.2%, and knowledge of how to increase immunity increased by 18.7%. Providing education to radiographers online counseling can increase radiographer’s knowledge and interest in consuming balanced nutrition as an effort to increase immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Online learning was chosen as the main alternative in implementing learn from home during a pandemic. There are many media that can be used in online learning such as learning videos. Learning videos are a medium for early childhood when they learn from home. Learning videos have components that make it easier for children to learn. Therefore, early childhood education (PAUD) teachers independently should be able to develop learning media. Thus, they can keep assisting students in learning both direct or long distance. This program aims to improve the skills of creative learning videos develop for PAUD teachers. This program collaborates with 3 institutions: PAUD Rumah Balita Pintar, TK Rumah Balita Pintar, and PAUD Setia Bunda in Tanjung Bintang. The program consists of introducing learning videos, training on video applications, and assisting in developing creative learning videos for early childhood. Abstract

Doing research and publication in the form of scientific article is not part of teachers’ duties as an educator. Conducting research particularly class action research, however, is a necessity for teachers to solve some problems experienced in class. The needs to publish an article from research result emerges from the importance of sharing research result conducting in class. This research result may solve similar problems happened in other classes and experinced by other teachers. High school mathematics teachers in Kediri city encounter difficulties in transforming research result into a scientific article. This community service program provides a training and accompaniment in writing a scientific article. This program involves some activities, i.e. (1) elucidating the structure of scientific articles and its description, (2) giving examples of scientific articles from research results, (3) practicing in writing scientific article, and (4) presenting article results from practice section. Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is given to the manager of the Mugibangkit Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), Munggugianti Kacamatan Benjeng Village, Gresik Regency. The purpose of the activity is to provide entrepreneurship education to improve managerial skills and develop business units at Mugibangkit BUMdes. The implementation of entrepreneurship education activities took place in Munggugianti Village for 12 months. Entrepreneurship education in the form of entrepreneurship theory and practice is divided into four stages of learning including: (1) Exploring the entrepreneurial potential of each BUMDes manager; (2) Transfer of knowledge (entrepreneurship concept); (3) Project-based learning (Preparation of plans for new business units); (4) Mentoring and business evaluation. The results of entrepreneurship education activities: (1) Increasing knowledge of entrepreneurship from 10 managers of BUMDes Mugibangkit; (2) Designing a new business unit (Integrated Tourism Village) in the form of a masterplan which will then be realized into a new business unit at BUMDes Mungibangkit.
