Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The importance of strengthening character in children in conflict with the law through rehabilitation programs by Sahabat Kapas; 2) Efforts to strengthen character in children who are in conflict with the law by Sahabat Kapas; 3) The impact of strengthening the character of children in conflict with the law by Sahabat Kapas; 4) Constraints faced in strengthening character in children who are in conflict with the law by Sahabat Kapas. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and document analysis. Testing the validity of the data using an interactive analysis model.  Conclusion of the research results: 1) Strengthening the character of the AKH (Children in Conflict with the Law) is important because children in detention centers (detention centers) still cannot show good behavior, such as: hitting each other, asking for and forcing, due to several factors including boredom when in detention, therefore it is important to provide assistance in order to restore the psychological condition of the child 2) Efforts to strengthen character through rehabilitation programs are carried out with three types of assistance which include; psychological assistance (children are given the opportunity to convey their complaints), psychosocial assistance (planting values so that children can integrate with the community when they leave later), and economic value skills (making handicrafts and other works) using individual methods and group. 3) The impact of character strengthening on AKH including: a) more open children; b) children are more confident; c) creative; d) attitudes toward others are more positive. But the legal awareness shown by the AKH when it came out of the detention center still tended to be low, this was indicated by their behavior which tends to deviate again, such as revenge, committing a crime, to recidivism. 4) Constraints faced in character strengthening are grouped into two, namely: a) Internal constraints, including lack of human resources and SOP for mentoring that is not optimal; b) External Constraints, which include; community stigma against AKH which tends to be negative and restoration of AKH behavior which still requires long-term and  continuous time.   Full Paper

Abstract

This research aims to identify: (1) The implementation of full day school program against students? character building in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. (2) The evaluation of full day school program against students? character building in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. (3) Obstacles and solutions in implementing full day school program against students? character building in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Descriptive method and qualitative approach are used in this research. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling method. Data are collected by doing interviews, observations, and document analysis. To gain data validity, this research uses data. Data are analyzed using interactive data analysis by following these steps: (1) Data collecting, (2) Data reduction, (3) Data presentation, and (4) Conclusion drawing or verification. Results show that: (1) The implementation of a ful day school program towards the formation of Students? character in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar is built through habituation, exemplary, and discipline training. (2) The evaluation of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model in terms of context is good, because of the indicators of needs that have not been achieved the objectives to be achieved are in accordance with what is expected, namely to shape the character of learners, then environmental conditions are also very supportive and conducive. In terms of input shows that forexisting resources good enough it is known from existing facilities and infrastructure, the ability of the subject to support the program and strategy to achieve the program can be done well. In terms of the process to determine the extent to which the activities carried out in the program indicate that the indicators of program activities, ability to handle, utilization of facilities and infrastructure, and obstacles encountered by the school can do as expected. In terms of the product is the final evaluation that shows the results of the program carried out from the indicators of things done after the program runs can be done well, the impact obtained from the program can shape the character of students, and program excellence can shape the character of students (3) Obstacles that are met in this research are the following: First, students? basic character. Second, resources. Third, students? physical condition. Fourth, additional tasks from teachers. Solutions that come from this research are: always implementing the 5S policy [Senyum (smile), Sapa (greet), Salam (bow), Sopan (be polite), Santun (be kind)]and all assignments of teachers and students must be completed in school and live sincerely by referring to existing regulations.   Full Paper

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) fulfillment of the right for occasions and decent live This study aims to find out: 1) fulfillment of the right for occasions and decent live for persons with physical disabilities through social rehabilitation program held by BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso; 2) the impacts of the social rehabilitation program on the fulfillment of the right for occasions and decent live for persons with physical disabilities held by BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso; 3) the barriers to social rehabilitation program in fulfilling the right for occasions and decent live for persons with physical disabilities held by BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso. This study uses qualitative research methods with purposive sampling and random sampling technique. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. Checking the data validity by data triangulation and method triangulation. Interactive analysis model was used to analys the data. The results showed that: 1) The social rehabilitation program held by BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso to help fulfilling the right to work and a decent life for persons with physical disabilities are consist rehabilitation, resocialization, employment distribution and follow-up from the social rehabilitation program. 2) Impacts of the program: a) physiological impacts in the form of physical refunctionalization and giving of motion aids; b) the mental-social impact of growing independent, courageous, confident; c) intellectual impact in the form of increasing the ability to read, write and count and get the opportunity to improve the educational degree through the Kejar Paket program; c) the impact of vocationalism is the increase in work skills as a provision for work. 3) The barriers: a) Barriers from the persons with disabilities (Penerima Manfaat) are physical inability to support certain skills so that they are easy to give up, stubborn individuals who are difficult to adjust; b) Facilitator barriers are the quantity of facilitators and inadequate quality of facilitators due to lack of skills education background. c) barriers to facilities in the form of limited practice tools and hard road access. Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Participation of citizens in submitting complaints through ULAS (Surakarta Complaint Service Unit); 2) Strategy for fulfilling the rights of citizens to express their opinions in the framework of digital citizenship through the ULAS 3) Obstacles to fulfilling the rights of citizens to express their opinions in the framework of digital citizenship through the ULAS This study uses qualitative research methods and descriptive research approaches. The research technique used was purposive and snowball sampling. Data collection uses interviews, observation and documentation. Testing data validity using data triangulation and methods. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The results of this study include: 1) ULAS a forum for the people of Surakarta City to participate in providing public service complaints. In quantity, the people who participated through the ULAS were increasing. However, in quality there are still people who lack responsibility in using digital media, thus affecting the efficiency and effectiveness of ULAS; 2) The strategy for fulfilling the right to express opinions in the framework of digital citizenship by ULAS , a) providing websites, which are equipped with the provision of admin in each OPD (Regional Device Organization); b) socialization, to inform the public about ULAS; c) kelurahan facilitation, by providing admin in each kelurahan; d) availability of electronic forms for claimants each will submit a complaint; e) closure of complaints, by super admin for unclear complaints. The strategy implemented has embodied the community's right to participate in expressing opinions using digital media. But it still needs improvement in forming community responsibilities when it is more efficient and efficient; 3) Obstacles to fulfilling the right to express opinions carried out by ULAS include: a) internal barriers, namely there is still a manual system on the digital system, so that the super admin examines complaints closely every day to minimize errors in closing complaints and remaining admin OPD (Regional Device Organization) that has not been fluent in using technology, so that quarterly evaluations are carried out for the admin; b) external barriers include limited budgets and cessation of socialization, so socialization is carried out by only inviting figures close to the community to be able to convey back to other communities and insert material about the ULAS in every activity of government agencies.   Full Paper

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Civic disposition in the digital class (digital class) in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education at SMA N 6 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018; 2) Digital class constraint in developing civic disposition on learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education at SMA N 6 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. This study uses a qualitative approach reinforced with quantitative data and case study methods. Data collection using observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire. Testing data validity using triangulation data and triangulation method. Data analysis using interactive analysis model. Conclusion of the results of the study: 1) Civic disposition of digital class students in the learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in SMA N 6 Surakarta in the 2017/2018 school year with the results of questionnaires that showed a tendency to 'good' attitude in learning PPKn, with 70% details students have a tendency to 'good' attitude, 26% of students have a tendency to be 'praiseworthy', and the remaining 4% of students have a 'sufficient' attitude. 2) Digital class constraints in developing civic dispositions can be grouped into two, namely: a) Internal constraints that are constraints that originate from the individual itself or constraints from within. In this case related to the condition of the self has not been able to utilize technology in digital class appropriately, lack of awareness in digital class students, lack of confidence and the influence of habits that are difficult to change in digital class students; b) External or external constraints. These constraints relate to things such as lack of mastery of teachers on technology, lack of socialization and training from schools or related institutions about how to be smart and good students in using technology in digital classes, the methods used in PPKn learning in digital classes almost same as ordinary class, infrastructure that has not been supported in digital class, teacher supervision is less stringent so it allows students to use technology for things that are not good and the absence of written rules in digital class.   Full Paper

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan Super Timwork dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta; (2) mendeskripsikan besarnya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta dalam merencanakan pembelajaran setelah penerapan Super Timwork, dan; (3) mendeskripsikan besarnya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran setelah penerapan Super Timwork. Subjek penelitian adalah guru yunior SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta program IPA dan IPS yang berjumlah 30 orang. Setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: (1) perencanaan tindakan; (2) pelaksanaan tindakan; (3) hasil observasi, dan; (4) refleksi. Hasil penelitian: (1) implementasi Super Timwork berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta Tahun 2017/2018; kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran meningkat dari pra siklus sebesar 23,33%; siklus I sebesar 83,33%, dan; siklus II sebesar 100%, dan; (3) kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran meningkat dari pra siklus sebesar 6,67%; siklus I sebesar 80,00%, dan; siklus II sebesar 96,67%.   Full Paper

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process in the Kurikulum 2013 which requires all subjects to use authentic assessment, including PPKn subject teachers. Placed in SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga with the respondents of the research is PPKn?s teacher of class XII TKJ A, the deputy headmaster of the curriculum field, and students of class XII TKJ A. The purpose of the study is to provide an overview of the implementation of authentic assessment in PPKn subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga and the barriers experienced by teachers and how to overcome them. Typed of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection used passive participation observation techniques, unstructured interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of authentic assessments at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga has generally been carried out by the teacher, but has not run optimally. The assessment indicators that have been carried out are daily assessments, final semester assessments, discussions, and presentations, and it planned in the lesson plan (RPP). Some assessment indicators that have not been implemented by the teacher, such as the attitude assessment that should be carried out by observation, self-assessment, evaluation among friends, and journals, but in the implementation only teachers assess student attitudes. The obstacles in the implementation of authentic assessments include: a curriculum that is held continuously revisions and a long time in the assessment process.   Full Paper

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in PPKn learning in class X KGSP B of SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Type of research: qualitative descriptive, research subject of PPKn teachers and students. Data collection: unstructured interview techniques, passive observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. Research results: The implementation of character education in PPKn learning has been carried out starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, the characters that grow: are religious, responsible, honest, disciplined, nationalism, and work together. Obstacles: some students lack character during learning. Solution: do a small reprimand and a friendly approach. PPKn learning is effective in carrying out character education.   Full Paper

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui: proses pembelajaran PPKn, pengamalan nilai-nilai sila I Pancasila, dan   hubungan pembelajaran PPKn dengan pengamalan nilai-nilai sila I Pancasila. Populasi penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas VI SD Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto yang berjumlah 34. Seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian, sehingga merupakan sensus. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner tertutup. Analisis data dengan persentasi dan  korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan proses pembelajaran PPKn kuat (79%), pengamalan nilai-nilai sila I Pancasila kuat (91%) dan  ada korelasi yang signifikan antara proses pembelajaran PPKn dengan pengamalan nilai-nilai sila I Pancasila, rxy (6,31).   Full Paper

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan Sumber daya manusia Dosen Univet Bantara Sukoharjo  dalam upaya menghadapi revolusi industry 4.0. Penelitian ini adalah  penelitian deskriptif kualitatif . Subjek penelitiannya adalah Dosen  Univet Bantara Sukoharjo, dan objeknya adalah pengembangan SDM, Kemitraan Kerja  dan Revolusi industry 4.0. Metode pengumpulan data mengginakan : observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validitas data dilakukan dengan menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif yang terdiri dari 4 langkah yaitu: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data.  Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dilapangan yang dilakukan dari tanggal 2-8 januari 2017, ditemukan hal-hal sebagai berikut: dalam proses pembelajaran berpisat pada dosen, metode ceramah lebih dominan, pembelajaran tekstual, gaya mengajar dosen monoton, metode kurang variatif, bahasa yang digunakan sulit dipahami, dosen mmandang mahasiswa hanya sebagai objek, dosen kurang mengfhargai perbedaan pendapat mahasiswa, mahasiswa pasif, mahasiswa kurang berani menyampaikan pendapatnya, mahasiswa kurang focus. Dampaknya adalah daya serap mahasiswa rendah hal ini dibuktikan dari 30 mahasiswa yang mendapatkan skor lebih dati 60 hanya 11 mahasiswa, dan 19 mahasiswa skornya berada dibawah 6o, dengan menggunakan PAP 60 syarat minimal lulus.  Simpulannya bahwa  pelaksanaan perkuliahan dosen PPKn Univet banrata Sukoharjo tahun akademi 2017-2018  kurang maksimal. Karena itu perlu diberikan solusinya. Menurut peneliti solusi yang tepat yaitu dilakukan peningkatan Mutu Dosen melalui kegiatan lesson studi. Simpulannya bahwa pembelajaran dosen PPKn Univet Bantara Sukoharjo tahun akademi 2017-2018 kurang maksimal, harus ditingkatkan mutunya. Peningkatan mutu dosen diantaranya dengan kegiatan lesson studi.   Full Paper
