Abstract

The mental health issues of adolescents have become a matter of concern, as during the transition period, adolescents undergo both biological and psychological changes. However, the understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health remains low, which results in a high prevalence of depression, mental health problems, and suicidal ideation among adolescents aged 15-24 years. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase adolescents' knowledge on how to maintain mental health through education. This program aims to build a growth mindset in adolescents by enhancing their understanding of mental health, so that they can better cope with mental health issues they may face. The target group for this program consists of university students and adolescents involved in the youth organization (karang taruna) of Pait Village. The program's mechanism includes preparation, presentation of materials and discussions, followed by evaluation. The implementation of this program was carried out through psychoeducation or outreach activities. The results showed that after psychoeducation on mental health, there was an increase in adolescents' understanding and interest in maintaining mental health.

Abstract

Pondok Seni Batu is a community that accommodates most artists in Batu City, East Java. The existence of this community is strategic in the art ecosystem in Batu City. However, this community does not yet have a representative and publicly accessible platform related to its artists, even though the visibility of the artists' information can support the existence of the community and reach a wider audience. This community service is carried out with the aim of (1) expanding the reach of information in the form of a digital platform containing artist profiling and studio mapping to read the artistic laboratory at Pondok Seni Batu, (2) strengthening information management by mapping information systems, (3) profiling artists, studio mapping, and (4) maintaining the continuity of information availability by providing creative writing assistance to young members of the community. This service will produce a profile of Pondok Seni Batu artists and a map of studios in the community. The availability of an information platform containing the two things above can help Pondok Seni Batu for resource mapping, achieving public visibility and building stronger networks.

Abstract

Community Service Activities in the form of Entrepreneurship Training for Former Persib Bandung Players aim to increase interest in entrepreneurship for former football players who are no longer active as professional players. In addition, this activity aims to increase knowledge about preparing a business plan, understanding the importance of branding and social media as a business strategy, and understanding the importance of financial records in business. As workers with a short productive time, this activity is expected to be a provision in retirement. This training was attended by 20 participants, and the results of the activity showed that participants were able to prepare a business plan using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), increase their understanding of the importance of branding and social media as a business strategy and understand the importance of financial records in business. Follow-up activities from this Community Service can be in the form of mentoring for participants who will start their business and expanding the target group of people to football players who are still active as preparation for going through retirement.

Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan tradisi pengobatan tradisional, salah satunya yaitu jamu. Di era modern saat ini eksistensi minuman herbal seperti jamu mulai memudar terkalahkan dengan minuman-minuman kekinian yang lebih menarik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kafe herbal yang menawarkan produk inovatif dengan tetap menerapkan strategi pemasaran digital dan layanan berkualitas untuk memaksimalkan omzetnya. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut dilakukan beberapa rangkaian kegiatan untuk Café Herbal Omahkui. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup a) FGD (Focus Group Discussion); b) Pelatihan kewirausahaan; c) Praktik manajemen berbasis digital; d) Pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) manajemen dan staff café memahami manajemen keuangan dan pemasaran berbasis digital: (2) manajemen dan staff cafe mampu membuat inovasi produk yang lebih kekinian: (3) manajemen dan staff café mampu melaksanakan pencatatan keuangan dan pemasaran secara digital. Hasil evaluasi pengabdian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi bagi manajemen Café Herbal Omahkui untuk meningkatkan kegiatan operasinya kearah digital serta membuat SOP yang jelas dan tertulis sebagai acuan dalam pelakasanaan operasional café. Abstract

Hepatitis co-infection in HIV patients is a significant health problem due to the similar route of transmission and the resulting impact on liver health. Hepatitis B and C virus co-infection is common among HIV-infected people in Indonesia. Hepatitis co-infection in HIV patients can lead to more severe liver disease and increased mortality. The working area of Puskesmas Mulyorejo is an area with a high number of migrants, considering that many large housing estates and universities are scattered in the area. Therefore, it is important to educate the community to increase their knowledge and understanding of Hepatitis infection in HIV patients, so that the incidence of this disease can be reduced. The activity method is carried out in the form of education and training for health cadres with the hope that they can improve their ability to provide education to the community. A total of 38 health cadres and 7 people from the Surabaya HIV Care community participated in this education and training. The results showed that 41 people (91.1%) had increased knowledge and ability to carry out education, with a percentage increase in knowledge of 25.89%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mandiri adalah salah satu kemampuan yang sangat penting bagi pelajar guna meraih keberhasilan dalam studi. Namun, banyak pelajar yang masih mengalami tantangan dalam menemukan cara belajar yang tepat. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memperkenalkan metode belajar Pomodoro dan Flashcards sebagai alat belajar mandiri kepada siswa SMPN 45 Palembang. Metode Pomodoro membantu pelajar mengatur waktu belajar dengan memecah sesi tersebut menjadi interval yang terstruktur, sedangkan Flashcards menawarkan cara interaktif untuk mengingat konsep dan materi pelajaran. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan dalam penerapan kedua metode belajar tersebut. Hasil yang diharapkan dari program ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman pelajar mengenai strategi belajar mandiri, kemampuan dalam pengelolaan waktu yang lebih baik, dan peningkatan motivasi belajar. Melalui penggunaan metode ini, diharapkan siswa dapat secara konsisten meraih pencapaian belajar yang lebih optimal.   Kata Kunci: Metode Belajar, Pomodoro, Flashcard, interaktif
