Abstract

This study explores the factors that can influence the implementation of patient safety standards. The method used is correlational analysis with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant partial effect of gender on the implementation of patient safety standards p-value of 0.005; there is a significant partial effect of education on the implementation of patient safety standards p-value of 0.011, meaning that there is a significant partial effect of length of service on the implementation of patient safety standards p value 0.037; there is a significant partial effect of awareness on the implementation of patient safety standards p value 0.001; compliance has a partial considerable impact on the implementation of patient safety standards p value 0.001. In conclusion, awareness is the dominant factor influencing the implementation of patient safety standards. Keywords: Nurse Compliance, Nursing Services, Patient Safety Standards

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between body mass index and physical activity with hypertension in the Kemayoran Health Center work area. The method used is a cross-sectional design. The study results showed a p-value of 0.020 on the BMI variable and 0.045 on the physical activity variable. In conclusion, a significant relationship exists between body mass index (BMI) and hypertension and between physical activity and hypertension in the Kemayoran Health Center work area. Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of animation media screening counseling on knowledge and attitudes about healthy snacks as an effort to prevent diarrhea in school-age children. The research method is quantitative with a pre-experimental design with one group pre-and post-test. Data were collected using observation sheets. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the mean knowledge score about healthy snacks before and after animation media screening counseling was 20.27 ± 1.461 and 23.07 ± 0.740. The mean score of attitudes about healthy snacks before and after animation media screening counseling was 38.43 ± 2.648 and 43.83 ± 2.291. The conclusion of this study is that animation media screening counseling has an effect on knowledge and attitudes about healthy snacks as an effort to prevent diarrhea in school-age children. Abstract

This study analyzes patient safety and compliance with implementing SOPs in inpatient rooms. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study are that the manager's expectations and patient safety promotion actions have been implemented, organizational learning and improvements are evaluated in the form of online questionnaires, feedback, and communication about errors, and not all staff understand the procedures for reporting patient safety incidents, the openness of communication with superiors has been carried out well, and superiors provide positive reciprocal responses, there is no blaming response when reporting patient safety incidents from superiors or related parties, and the implementation of SOPs in the ward has not been carried out optimally and not all staff understand and implement them well. In conclusion, the implementation of SOPs on patient safety has been carried out well by all aspects of health workers in the hospital. Keywords: Patient Safety Culture, SOPs, Hospitals

Abstract

This study aimed to see the relationship between service quality and the accreditation status of the Health Center. The research method used a cross-sectional study. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet. The collected data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The study's results showed a significant relationship between the service quality dimensions (responsiveness, assurance, tangible, empathy, and reliability) and the accreditation status of the health center. This study concludes a relationship between responsiveness, assurance, tangible, empathy, and reliability with accreditation status. Keywords: Accreditation, Service Quality, Health Center

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the experiences of the people of South Aceh related to health behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a descriptive phenomenological approach with an in-depth interview process, making interview transcripts and then analyzing the data using the Collaizi analysis method. The study results showed four themes: community efforts to prevent COVID-19, psychological disorders, activities carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, and difficulties in implementing COVID-19 prevention efforts. The conclusion is that most of the community's behavior is positive, and the community has implemented prevention efforts well, even though some religious and traditional events have been carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence improving the quality of nursing care documentation. The research method used is a literature review through academics: Google Scholar, Neliti, World Scientific, ProQuest, and PubMed. The results of the study showed that from 15 articles obtained, the factors that influence the improvement of the quality of nursing care documentation are motivation, knowledge, workload, attitude, operational standards, supervision, education, work stress, job satisfaction, availability of operational standards, training, lack of staff, managerial room heads, and performance. In conclusion, the factors influencing the quality of nursing care documentation are motivation, knowledge, workload, attitude, operational standards, supervision, education, work stress, job satisfaction, operational standards, training, lack of staff, managerial room heads, and performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the method of case finding, to determine the management of the control program, to determine the distribution of drugs, to assess the performance of the PMO, and to determine the recording and reporting in the tuberculosis control program with the DOTS strategy. The results of this study are the method of finding pulmonary tuberculosis cases according to the SOP set by the health center, the management of the pulmonary tuberculosis control program with the DOTS strategy at the UPT Namu Ukur Health Center, Langkat Regency by implementing a pulmonary TB control program with a plan, drug distribution begins with the process of submitting a letter to the Langkat Regency Health Office, the performance of the Drug Supervisor (PMO) is good, namely motivating patients to undergo regular treatment, and nurses and analysts carry out recording and reporting by recording TB patients in a manual report book carry out the laboratory. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying puzzle play therapy and vibration therapy in improving the fine motor function of preschool children with cerebral palsy. The research method used is a quasi-experimental, pre-post-test control group design. The study's results showed that the average fine motor skills of CP children before the intervention was 20.26, and after the intervention, it was 16.16. In the control group, before the intervention, it was 20.26; after the intervention, it was 18.95; the decrease in value indicates motor skills heading towards better. Applying puzzle play therapy and vibration therapy improves the fine motor function of preschool cerebral palsy children (p-value 0.001). In conclusion, puzzle therapy improves the fine motor function of preschool preschool cerebral palsy children more than vibration/vibration therapy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of yoga and aromatherapy on sleep quality in older people. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test group control design. The results showed that the sleep quality in the control group was 2.631, while the sleep quality of the experimental group was 3.723. A p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained based on statistical tests using the T-Test. In conclusion, there is a significant effect between yoga and aromatherapy on sleep quality in older people.
