Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of infrastructure, facilities, and services on customer satisfaction of Integrated Mass Rapid Transit users in a region. This study uses a descriptive survey method with data collection through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The sample of this study involved 95 Integrated Mass Rapid Transit users spread across 13 Integrated Mass Rapid Transit stations, with a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria such as frequency of use and travel purpose. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that infrastructure and facilities have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while services also contribute to increasing user satisfaction. Based on these findings, it is recommended that MRT managers continue to improve the quality of infrastructure, facilities, and services in order to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. These findings provide an important contribution to the planning and management of more effective and sustainable public transportation, especially in supporting the development of a multimodal and integrated transportation system in the region.

Abstract

Workplace incivility such as rudeness, exclusion, and disrespect is a growing issue, especially among Generation Z employees who are prone to stress and mental health issues. Incivility has negative consequences, including decreased productivity and increased absenteeism. This study examines the effects of job demands and social support on workplace incivility, with job stress as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative descriptive-causal research design, data were collected from 190 Generation Z employees through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The results showed that job demands had a significant positive effect on job stress, which in turn increased incivility. Conversely, social support was able to reduce job stress and incivil behavior. Job stress was shown to mediate the relationship between the independent variables (job demands and social support) and workplace incivility. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a supportive work environment and effective workload management to reduce incivil behavior and improve employee well-being, especially among younger generations.

Abstract

This study explores how consumer confidence mediates the effects of fiscal and monetary policies on Indonesia’s real investment and stock market performance. Fiscal and monetary policies are critical for economic stability, yet their effectiveness may depend on public sentiment, an area underexplored in emerging markets. The research aims to examine the mediating role of consumer confidence in these relationships, using quarterly data from 2000 to 2024 sourced from Indonesian Economic and Financial Statistics, Central Statistics Agency, and Indonesia Stock Exchange. A quantitative approach employs Principal Component Analysis to create composite policy indices, Vector Autoregressive models, Granger Causality tests, and Sobel tests to analyze direct and indirect effects. Findings reveal that fiscal and monetary policies significantly influence investment and stock markets, with consumer confidence strongly mediating monetary policy effects and moderately mediating fiscal policy impacts. These results highlight the psychological dimension of economic policy, emphasizing consumer sentiment’s role in enhancing policy outcomes. The study concludes that policymakers should integrate public sentiment into macroeconomic strategies to foster sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

Global economic uncertainty in the last ten years due to changes in financial markets, geopolitical conflicts, and the COVID-19 pandemic has tested the resilience of the banking sector, including Islamic banking. This study aims to identify sustainable financial management strategies implemented by Islamic banks using a systematic literature review (SLR) based on the PRISMA approach. A total of 65 relevant scientific articles were analyzed using a thematic approach. The research results revealed three main strategic pillars, namely risk management based on maqashid sharia, ethical and inclusive asset portfolio diversification, and improving financial governance and transparency. Integration of sustainability principles within the sharia framework, including strengthening social fund instruments such as zakat, waqf, and qardhul hasan, as well as value-based digitalization have proven effective in strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of Islamic banks. In addition, adjustments to Environmental, Social, and Governance standards and the establishment of a strategic risk management unit are important elements in maintaining operational continuity amidst global instability. This study contributes theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Islamic finance literature and sustainable development, while also providing policy recommendations to regulators and industry players to realize adaptive and long-term-focused Islamic financial management practices.

Abstract

A country’s territorial integrity is crucial for maintaining sovereignty and must be protected through defense, security, and national unity. Indonesia’s independence was achieved through great sacrifices, making it essential to address threats such as inequality, injustice, and weakening national values. This research aims to analyze collaborative border management to accelerate the development of basic infrastructure in the North Borneo border area with Malaysia. This research employs a qualitative research design with a post-positivism approach to explore social phenomena in depth, develop theoretical interpretations, and answer the research questions. Collaborative border management has accelerated basic infrastructure development in Indonesia-Malaysia border areas, particularly in Nort Borneo. The government and private sector work together to improve road networks, inter-island transportation, water reservoirs, and telecommunications access. Providing subsidies to private entities can ensure affordable transportation services for residents while encouraging infrastructure expansion. Cross-border collaboration is essential for efficient development, enhancing accessibility, and improving the quality of life for border communities.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of operational complexity on audit report lag with auditor specialization as a moderating variable. High operational complexity is believed to extend audit completion time due to the increasing volume and complexity of information. Conversely, auditors with industry-specific expertise are expected to accelerate the audit process through a deeper understanding of the audited entity. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis and secondary data from company annual reports. Data is processed using SPSS, including classical assumption tests, t-tests, f-tests, and moderation interaction analysis. The results show that Audit Tenure does not significantly affect Audit Report Lag (significance = 0.992), nor does its interaction with Auditor Specialization show a significant moderating effect. However, the F-test shows that the overall regression model, including Audit Tenure, Auditor Specialization, and control variables, significantly affects Audit Report Lag (significance = 0.021). These findings suggest that although direct and moderating effects are not significant, the variables collectively contribute to explaining delays in audit reporting.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand the process of developing leaders’ innovativeness in the context of a project-based organization with followers as the provider of ideas and knowledge, including how it turned into project performance. The research uses quantitative methods using deductive’s research process, where to answer the problem formulation, concepts or theories are used to formulate hypotheses. The hypothesis is then tested through field data collection. Conducted in a construction state own enterprise (SOE), selected due to tight competition and the consequential need for innovation within short timescales. The data collection involves 118 dyads of general managers (as leaders) and project managers (as followers). This research is based on a knowledge management model, which according to Dibella, Nevis and Gold (1996) comprises of knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing and knowledge use, as well as on Nonaka and Takeuchi’s (1995) middle-up down model to foster innovation. The findings indicate the presence of vertical, middle-up flow of knowledge acquisition and sharing, that is, from followers to leaders in the development of leaders innovativeness. Yet, this research demonstrates the opposite effect in vertical, down flow of knowledge use in which leaders’ innovativeness may result in lower project performance. The hypothesis that Leader’s Innovativeness affects positively to Project’s Performance is not proven, but the effect is significantly negative. The reasons can be explained as follows: (1) Communication constraints, (2) External factor contraints during execution, (3) Setting target by Head Office is high, target reconciliation affected by external factor and cut off date, as well as company still adopt accounting system multi years bases, (4) Company do not perform Accumulated Knowledge Base, (5) The impact of innovation might be long term nature. Keywords: Followers Personal Mastery (FPM); Leader Member Exchange (LMX); leaders’ innovativeness; project performance.

Abstract

The empowerment of novice entrepreneurs is vital for fostering inclusive economic development and addressing structural unemployment in Indonesia. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Independent Novice Entrepreneur Program (Tenaga Kerja Mandiri Pemula/TKMP) implemented by the Ministry of Manpower in Lampung Province. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates quantitative data from surveys and progress reports with qualitative insights from interviews with mentors and participants. The program’s performance is assessed based on five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): (1) production of goods/services, (2) implementation of marketing strategies, (3) maintenance of financial cash flow records, (4) acquisition of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), and (5) development of structured business plans. Findings reveal that the program exceeded the 60% achievement target across all KPIs, with the highest performance in product development (94.19%) and marketing strategy (91.60%). However, challenges remain in financial literacy, NIB registration, and long-term business sustainability. This study highlights the importance of continuous mentoring, digital literacy, and academic collaboration to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems at the local level. The results offer evidence-based recommendations for improving policy design and implementation of entrepreneurship support programs in developing regions.   Keywords:  novice entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship development, government program, business mentoring, financial literacy, digital marketing, Lampung Province, mixed-methods, policy evaluation, small business empowermen

Abstract

Investors constantly aim for a rise in firm value and sustainability to ensure favorable returns on their capital investments. Nonetheless not every company issues dividends. This research seeks to investigate how dividend payments influence firm value, concentrating on 517 firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period from 2014 to 2023. Data was collected from secondary sources, particularly via annual reports released on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that policies regarding dividend payments greatly impact a company's value. Notably, the research indicates that businesses with reduced dividend payments often have a more substantial effect on firm value, while those with increased dividend distributions do not exhibit a significant impact. Additionally, the effects of dividend policies differ among various industrial sectors. For example, in the energy and non-cyclical consumer sectors, dividend distributions greatly influence firm value. In contrast, sectors like basic materials, industrials, and real estate do not show a statistically meaningful connection. These findings provide important insights for corporate leaders, indicating that regular and strategic dividend disbursements can cultivate investor confidence and allegiance. Consequently, this confidence from investors could foster the firm's long-term development and enhance its valuation in the capital market
