Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan Indeks Sombor pada berbagai jenis graf yang dibangun dari struktur grup hingga. Indeks Sombor merupakan salah satu indeks topologi yang digunakan untuk mengukur karakteristik graf melalui derajat simpul yang saling berhubungan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penentuan pola umum dan perbandingan nilai Indeks Sombor pada beberapa jenis graf grup, yaitu graf koprima, graf non-koprima, graf unit, graf nilpoten, dan graf pangkat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat teoretis dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka dan analisis deduktif. Setiap graf dikonstruksi berdasarkan relasi antar elemen grup, kemudian derajat simpul ditentukan untuk menghitung nilai Indeks Sombor secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan karakteristik nilai Indeks Sombor yang bergantung pada sifat struktur grup yang digunakan, baik komutatif maupun non-komutatif. Selain itu, diperoleh pola umum yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara struktur aljabar grup dan sifat topologis grafnya. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian energi graf dan indeks topologi dalam konteks teori graf aljabar.

Abstract

Indonesia’s low numeracy performance in international assessments highlights the need for more effective and engaging instructional strategies. This study analyzed the influence of the Quizizz application on supporting the numeracy ability of junior high school students in Bengkulu City. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 70 students through a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring ten indicators of Quizizz utilization. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25 revealed that the model was statistically significant (F = 3.303; p = 0.002), with the independent variables collectively explaining 36.3% of the variance in numeracy skills (Adjusted R² = 0.253). Two indicators—conceptual understanding (x1) and critical–creative thinking (x5)—significantly affected numeracy ability, whereas other indicators showed no partial influence. The model met classical assumption requirements, including linearity and homoscedasticity. These findings confirm that Quizizz is an effective digital learning tool that enhances students’ numeracy through interactive and motivating learning experiences.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong perubahan besar dalam sektor pendidikan, salah satunya dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Namun, tidak sedikit siswa masih kesulitan memahami konsep seperti Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dan Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital C-HOTIKA (Construct berbasis HOTS Matematika) sebagai sarana interaktif yang mendukung keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan 29 siswa kelas V SDN 016 Samarinda Ulu. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat validitas sebesar 94,03% (sangat valid), sedangkan uji praktikalitas memperoleh respon guru sebesar 94,5% dan siswa sebesar 93,8% (sangat praktis). Media C-HOTIKA dinilai menarik, mudah digunakan, membantu pemahaman konsep, dan cocok diterapkan dalam pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada Kurikulum Mandiri.

Abstract

This systematic literature review analyzes international evidence on proportional reasoning (PR) in K–12 education and teacher training. We synthesized eight studies and identified four key patterns. Contexts with hands-on activities help students transition from intuitive to formal strategies. Students often succeed with probability ratios, but struggle with visual biases. Example-based practice with self-explanation improves probabilistic reasoning, especially for less prepared students. Finally, diagnostic tools such as construct maps are useful for tracking student progress from "combined unit" to "multiplicative comparison" understanding. Our review recommends designing a clear progression for ratios, rates, and probabilities; teaching anti-bias strategies; embedding routines of example problems; and using construct map-guided assessments. This synthesis provides a clear action lens to improve PR instruction by integrating student cognition, task design, and teacher practices.

Abstract

This study explores the ethnomathematics embedded in the architecture of the Tugu Hari Jadi Kabupaten Dati II Tanah Laut, addressing the persistent issue of low mathematical literacy among Indonesian students in PISA assessments. The research emphasizes the urgent need for culturally relevant pedagogy to make mathematics less abstract and more engaging, particularly given the lack of existing ethnomathematical studies focusing on specific monuments like this one. The primary objective was to identify the inherent mathematical elements within the monument's design and determine their educational applicability. Utilizing a qualitative ethnographic approach, the research successfully catalogued concepts from both plane geometry (rectangles, circles, octagons) and solid geometry (octagonal prisms, cylinders, and hemispheres), complete with their respective mathematical formulas for area, perimeter, and volume calculations, and the role of trigonometry. The findings offer a strong ethnomathematical interpretation, revealing the monument as a cultural artifact that harmoniously symbolizes local values such as balance, steadfastness, and divinity. Educationally, the monument serves as an authentic learning resource to visualize complex geometry, thereby providing valuable contextual material to increase student interest, motivation, and critical mathematical literacy skills in line with global standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sikap siswa Generasi Z di Nusa Tenggara Barat terhadap pelajaran matematika, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab ketidaksukaan, serta menggambarkan indikator kecemasan matematika yang dialami siswa. Penelitian melibatkan 195 siswa dari sembilan kabupaten/kota melalui penyebaran angket skala Likert dan pertanyaan terbuka. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan diperkuat dengan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap siswa terhadap matematika cenderung negatif, dengan 68,8% siswa berada pada kategori netral hingga tidak suka, dan hanya 31,3% yang menyatakan suka atau sangat suka. Faktor utama yang menyebabkan ketidaksukaan meliputi soal yang dianggap terlalu sulit (49%), metode mengajar monoton (43,6%), dan materi yang terasa abstrak (40%). Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan yang tinggi, terutama ketakutan mendapat nilai rendah, takut salah, dan takut ditertawakan teman. Temuan kualitatif menegaskan bahwa pengalaman negatif, tekanan sosial, serta gaya mengajar guru turut memperkuat kecemasan dan ketidaksukaan siswa terhadap matematika. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif, kontekstual, dan ramah siswa guna meningkatkan minat serta mengurangi kecemasan matematika pada siswa Generasi Z.

Abstract

Fuzzy Geographically Weighted Clustering (FGWC) is a method of development of fuzzy clustering by considering geographical elements in the process of regional clustering. This study aims to identify the number and characteristics of optimal clusters formed using the FGWC algorithm with the validity index of the Partition Coefficient Index (PCI). The data analyzed includes HDI indicators for all regencies/cities on the island of Kalimantan in 2024 consisting of the variables Life Expectancy, Length of Schooling, Average School Length, Expenditure per Capita, Open Unemployment Rate, and Percentage of Poor Population. Based on the results of the study, the optimal number of clusters was obtained as many as 2 clusters with a PCI of 0.516. Cluster 1 consists of 18 regencies/cities covering 9 cities and 9 regencies with higher average values of HDI indicator variables, while cluster 2 consists of 38 regencies which are all dominated by inland areas with lower average values of HDI indicator variables.

Abstract

Room assignments at the female dormitory of Universitas Mataram are still done manually, often placing students from the same study program and semester in the same room. This condition limits academic diversity, which is essential to foster social interaction and enhance academic performance. This study aims to apply graph coloring theory to address this issue. Each student is represented as a vertex, and connections between students with the same academic background are represented as edges. The Welch Powell algorithm is applied to color the vertices so that no adjacent vertices share the same color, ensuring students with similar academic characteristics are not assigned to the same room. This applied research uses Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Macro in Microsoft Excel to automate the creation of matrices and implementation of the algorithm. The results show that this approach is effective and efficient in grouping students into rooms while promoting academic heterogeneity. This method is expected to serve as a practical solution for dormitory management in other higher education institutions.

Abstract

The Fuzzy Backpropagation Neural Network (FBPNN) is a forecasting approach based on neural networks that applies the backpropagation learning algorithm, where input and output data are expressed in fuzzy membership values. The construction of the FBPNN model consists of three key phases: fuzzification, neural network training, and defuzzification. In the defuzzification stage, the Smallest of Maximum (SOM) technique is used to determine the lowest value among the members with the highest degree of membership. This research employs FBPNN to forecast the weekly closing prices of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (IDX: BBRI). The dataset is divided into 90% for training and 10% for testing. The results indicate that the best network architecture is 20–4–2, producing a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 728,5308 for training data and 178,2089 for testing data. The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) reached 10,3620% (classified as good) in training and 3,9189% (classified as very good) in testing. The developed model was then applied to forecast the next five periods, showing a tendency of increasing stock prices

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran POTRAME: Pop-Up Book berbasis Augmented Reality pada Jajanan Tradisional Nusantara Guna Meningkatkan Pemahaman Matematis siswa SMP pada materi bangun ruang. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada kesulitan siswa dalam memvisualisasikan objek tiga dimensi serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang tersedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 30 siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai dari pretest ke posttest. Selanjutnya, uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa POTRAME efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi bangun ruang.
