Abstract

The development of digitalization technology in the world of education emphasizes the need for progressive learning innovation, not only focusing on procedural memorization, but it is important to integrate geometric concepts with cultural values ​​and STEM approaches. As for alternatives that answer these needs, the purpose of this study is to develop an Ethno-STEM based e-module that focuses on the Uma Lengge building as a geometry learning context to improve the mathematical representation abilities of junior high school students. In the development of this e-module, the ADDIE development model is used, which is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. In the data collection process by conducting observations, as well as using tests, andquestionnaires. The feasibility test obtained an e-module with a valid category in the material and design aspects, in addition, responses by students regarding the practicality of the module are in the practical category for use in learning, while the effectiveness test of the e-module showed an increase in students' representation abilities in the post-test results with a moderate to high increase, which indicates a significant difference from the pre-test results. So the Ethno-STEM based e-module focusing on the Uma Lengge building with the context of geometry material is effectively used to improve the mathematical representation abilities of junior high school students.

Abstract

The Path Analysis Model is a type of research model used to determine relationships both directly and indirectly. The aim of this research is to look at the analysis of the relationship between unemployment and poverty through crime, both directly and indirectly. This research method is linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results of this research show that: 1) unemployment leads to high levels of criminality in Lampung Province 2) unemployment results in high levels of poverty in Lampung Province 3) poverty does not lead to high levels of criminality in Lampung Province 4) unemployment increases criminality as seen from high levels of poverty in Lampung Province.

Abstract

The low level of numeracy literacy among students in the city of Bima and West Nusa Tenggara requires more contextual and relevant learning innovations that are relevant to local life and culture. This study aims to develop an Project Based Learning (PjBL) based ethno-STEM to improve the numeracy literacy of elementary school students. The research method used a research and development approach, which included needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness testing at SDN 11 Kota Bima. Data collection instruments consisted of questionnaires, observation sheets, and numeracy literacy tests. The validity test results showed that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) based ethno-STEM met the criteria for content, language, and implementation feasibility. The application of the model in field trials provided a significant improvement in students' numeracy literacy skills compared to conventional learning, as indicated by higher post-test scores and positive responses from teachers and students. These findings confirm that the integration of local culture in project-based learning effectively improves students' understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. This study concludes that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) based ethno-STEM can be an alternative contextual and relevant learning innovation to improve numeracy literacy in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe students’ mathematical problem-solving (MPS) ability through the implementation of PBL treatment on the topic of the perimeter of plane figures in fifth-grade elementary students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-shot case study. The participants consisted of 21 fifth-grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a problem-solving test that had been validated for both validity and reliability. The results indicate that PBL contributes significantly to students’ achievement in problem-solving ability. Based on the one-sample t-test, the significance value obtained was < 0.001, indicating that the proposed hypothesis was accepted at the 0.05 significance level. Furthermore, the students’ mean MPS score was 85.39, with a median of 90 and a skewness value of -1.320, which signifies a left-skewed distribution, meaning that most students achieved high scores. Furthermore, when viewed across the four problem-solving procedures, only the third stage—solving problems according to the determined procedures—had a percentage below 70%. This lower percentage was primarily due to inaccuracies in calculation processes, which affected the final results. Such errors were more likely caused by miscalculations rather than by the selection of inappropriate problem-solving strategies.

Abstract

Financial statements are a fundamental element of accounting and serve as the basis for strategic decision-making, requiring mastery of accounting principles and quantitative skills. This descriptive qualitative study aims to describe the mathematical concepts and their applications in the preparation of financial statements by accounting students. Data were collected through interviews, student grades, and financial statement documents. The results indicate that the essential mathematical concepts include basic arithmetic, algebraic equations (e.g., ), ratios/percentages, basic statistics, and rounding. Although all students employed the same concepts, the depth and level of integration varied. Students categorized as “very good” demonstrated the ability to link calculations with transaction reasoning, analyze ratios across periods, apply statistical tools for diagnosis, and maintain accuracy control, resulting in financial reports that are meaningful and actionable. In contrast, students in the “fair” category tended to be procedural, focusing on numerical accuracy but lacking interpretation of the underlying meaning. It is therefore recommended that mathematics instructors develop learning models that integrate mathematical theory with direct accounting practice. Project-based or real case study approaches can help students better understand the relationship between mathematical computation and the actual outcomes of financial reporting.

Abstract

Penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik disebabkan karena pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang memperhatikan kemampuan awal peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, teknik faded example diterapkan pada LKPD sebagai solusinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik faded example pada LKPD terhadap hasil belajar Fungsi Kuadrat kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kupang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental dengan bentuk The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar angket dan soal tes. Tes yang digunakan berupa tes awal dan tes akhir untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon terhadap hasil tes awal dan tes akhir peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan  sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang siginifikan antara tes awal (rata-rata = 2.28) dan tes akhir (rata-rata = 84.5). Nilai effect size sebesar  menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh tersebut. Dengan demikian,  faded example dalam LKPD memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan kemampuan yang fundamental meliputi kemampuan memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, menyelesaiakan masalah, dan menafsirkan solusi yang tepat. Dari hasil observasi di kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 2 Sulamu menunjukan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan ppt interaktif pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variable. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Pengamatan, dan (4) Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis datanya deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persentase rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebesar 59,86% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 82,42% pada siklus II. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada persentase rata-rata indikator pemecahan masalah yaitu: (1) Memahami masalah dari 24,61% menjadi 85,42%, (2) Membuat rencana penyelesaian dari 90,63% menjadi 91,67%, (3) melaksanakan rencana dari 64,06% menjadi 78,65, dan (4) Memeriksa kembali dari 60,16% menjadi 73,95%. Penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan PPT interaktif juga meningkatkan aktivitas guru mencapai 96,05% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 97,23% pada siklus II dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 89,45% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 91,17 pada siklus II.

Abstract

Kurikulum yang digunakan di Indonesia sekarang merupakan kurikulum merdeka dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Pada kurikulum merdeka, pembelajaran berfokus pada peserta didik, sehingga pembelajaran yang dirancang harus disesuaikan dengan kemampuan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi relasi dan fungsi siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode design research yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu preparing for the experiment, design experiment, dan retrospective analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil asesmen diagnostik dan asesmen formatif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, khususnya diferensiasi konten pada materi relasi dan fungsi sesuai dengan kemampuan matematis peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi konten sangat efektif untuk diterapkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran dengan persentase keefektifan klasikal adalah 84%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Android menggunakan Articulate Storyline 3 pada materi Barisan dan Deret Geometri kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kupang dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan media berada pada kategori valid dengan skor rata-rata 4,73; aspek kepraktisan memperoleh skor 4,86 (skala kecil) dan 4,89 (skala besar), sedangkan efektivitas ditunjukkan oleh tingkat ketuntasan belajar sebesar 100% pada skala kecil dan 86% pada skala besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media Baret Geometri layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang inovatif, interaktif, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik, sekaligus merespons kebutuhan pembelajaran digital yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi dan karakteristik generasi pembelajar saat ini.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are an essential competency in 21st century mathematics learning. Traditional approaches, which are generally abstract and lack context, are often a barrier to their development. This study aims to systematically examine various studies related to mathematical communication in traditional game-based mathematics learning in the cultural context of the archipelago. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with PRISMA guidelines, as many as 15 articles published in 2020–2025 obtained from the selection of Google Scholar, ERIC, and Dimensions databases. The results of the study analysis showed that traditional games such as engklek, congklak, and marbles were most often used in learning and were proven to be effective in improving students' mathematical communication both verbally and in writing. This approach also contributes to increased learning motivation, concept understanding, and character building. These findings support the relevance of ethnomathematical approaches that link mathematics to local cultural practices. It was also found that learning mathematics that integrates traditional games not only strengthens academic competence, but also fosters an appreciation of contextual and meaningful local wisdom for Indonesian students.
