Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are actually a place to educate the character of students, but they are also inseparable from the existence of delinquency at their age. Delinquency cannot be left alone, but requires a special policy to overcome it. Al-Hidayah Keputran Islamic Boarding School has implemented policies in dealing with student delinquency, but there are still cases of delinquency committed by students. The purpose of this study is to reveal the forms, factors, and role of Islamic boarding schools in overcoming it. This research is qualitative in nature, where the primary data sources are the leaders of the Islamic boarding school, teachers and students, and the secondary data are books and documents. The data collection tool uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that in terms of dealing with student delinquency, several policies are always applied so that students can comply with Islamic boarding school regulations and policies are adjusted to the forms of delinquency that occur, most of which are delinquency that violates the applicable rules. The results of the efforts made by the al-Hidayah Keputran Islamic boarding school in dealing with student delinquency were 80% successful where this was shown by the deterrent effect and the nature of discipline and making students who violated better, this was due to the students' fear of the consequences of the violations committed.

Abstract

Entering the 19th century which is often called the period or the modern century, Islamic figures and leaders realized the weaknesses and causes of the decline of the Muslim community. It was as if they agreed that Muslims must rise from adversity and stagnation in thinking, especially regarding Islamic law and free themselves from blind obedience. This study aims to analyze the sequence of the ijtihad period from decline to revival, and analyze the contribution of Muhammad Abduh in the renewal of Islamic law. The research uses a qualitative research method based on literature study, the data source in this study analyzes the works of Muhammad Abduh, especially with regard to Islamic law. The research results explain that. The revival of Ijtihad in the Modern era began when it entered the 19th century, which was marked by movements against Western/foreign occupation of Islamic territories; knowledge movement and return to pure Islamic teachings; the movement to reinterpret the understanding and thought of Muslims; Ijtihad on completely new issues that arise as a result of the ongoing development of science and technology. Muhammad Abduh's contribution can be seen from his invitation to Muslims to use their minds optimally so that the Muslim community develops and its Islamic law develops as was done by our predecessors.

Abstract

Two major Islamic mass organizations in Indonesia which often differ in religious practices, often trigger gaps by pointing fingers at each other for right and wrong. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the differences in praying in Friday sermons among Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. The focus of research on the differences in the implementation of Friday sermons and hadiths about prayer in Friday sermons. The research method is a qualitative type with a case study approach with a focus on differences in prayers in Friday sermons between Nahdlatul and Muhammadiyah. Sources of research data are Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah Deli Serdang officials. Data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis with stages of data grouping, data interpretation and data presentation. The research findings explain that Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah differ in the implementation of Friday prayers, such as the number of call to prayer, the technique of praying, the attitude of the congregation in praying. The hadiths used as arguments, namely Nahdlatul Ulama refer to authentic hadiths narrated by Muslim, Abu Daud, Tirmizi which show that one must raise one's hands when praying on the pulpit. Meanwhile, the hadith referred to by Muhammadiyah comes from authentic hadiths narrated by Muslim, Tirmizi and al-Nasa'i which show that one must lift the index finger when praying on the pulpit. Differences in the source of hadith as an argument is the cause of differences in the practice of religious rituals.

Abstract

Negative reactions from those around a person struggling with mental health issues are common. This is due to widespread ignorance about mental health issues. Some people are unable to accept more scientific explanations of mental illness and opt out of medical and psychiatric treatment due to cultural and religious norms that attribute mental health problems to supernatural causes. With regard to the Hadiths on liver diseases, this study aims to analyze the variety of Hadiths that talk about liver diseases and their impact on one's health. The research method used is the Maudu'i method, which means that the author examines the traditions that correlate to the research topic. The results of the study explain that in the hadith the disease of the heart is called wahn, which is the fear of death, love of luxury, love of what is in the world with mere lust. The disease of the heart will result in riya', ujub, takabur, ghadab, ghibah, and hasad. Then the way to prevent the disease of the heart from dwelling in oneself is, prejudging well, getting closer to Allah, dhikr, eating from halal products because something halal will change a pure body, and finally fasting, because fasting can restrain lust.

Abstract

The ebb and flow of a business is highly dependent on the capital and strategies used. However, existing capital and strategies will not necessarily succeed when business management is not well organized. Not a few of the entrepreneurs only focus on capital, but forget the managerial approach. With regard to that, this study aims to analyze the implementation of an Islamic-based managerial approach in developing the performance of the chocolate ice business. This research uses a case study-based qualitative research method. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of an Islamic-based managerial economic approach is carried out by bringing together an understanding of economic theory with decision-making skills that can be applied to conduct analysis and make profitable decisions for the company. It acts as an accurate analysis and decision-making tool to support the company's progress. In its implementation, there are seven aspects of concern, namely cost-benefit analysis, rational decision making, efficient resource management, budget planning and control, performance evaluation, risk management, investment decision making. in addition, the islamic principle, namely compliance with the principles of business in islam, is an important thing that underlies the managerial economic approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of the hadith of the Perti scholars contained in Soearti magazine which discusses the deeds intended for the deceased, to eliminate differences among the community and can produce a complete understanding of the scholars related to the hadith. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research model (library review). Data sources consist of primary data sources, namely Soearti magazine and the main book of hadith, and secondary data sources, namely the results of relevant research from books or journals. The results of this study are about understanding the traditions of the practices carried out for people who have died, namely: first, the validity of the hadiths contained in the Soearti magazine which explains the practices aimed at people who have died are valid (Maqbul) and narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslims. While the understanding of the hadith about the practice given to people who have died is allowed and Soearti magazine states, that the practice reaches the person who dies, so that it can provide convenience and benefits for the person who died, such as praying and reading the Qur'an. and alms and other deeds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of packaging attributes and quality of halal products on purchasing decisions for cake at Nurul Bakery Stores. This study uses a qualitative research method with an associative approach. The analysis used is descriptive analysis to determine the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The research findings show that the test results (F), Fcount is 9.435 FTable 3.49, this means Ho is rejected, meaning that simultaneously there is no positive and significant effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The probability value (Sig.) is 0.002<0.05, indicating that the effect of the independent variable simultaneously is not significant on the dependent variable. However, the results of the (-t) test, show that partial packaging attribute variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for cake products at Nurul Bakery Shops and product quality variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for cake products at Nurul Bakery Shops. R Square of 0.526 means 52.6% of purchasing decision factors can be explained by the attributes of packaging and product quality. While 47.4% can be explained by factors not examined in this study such as Price, Promotion, and Lifestyle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in the Aidah Akhlak lesson in the Final Day material before and after the application of the Jigsaw Learning Learning Strategy for Class V MIS Pendidikan Agama Islam Students. This study uses a classroom action research method consisting of 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of planning , action, observation and reflection. The results of the study explain that (1) The results of student learning before the application of the Jigsaw Learnig learning strategy were from 20 students there was only 1 student who could achieve the KKM score while 19 students were categorized as incomplete. (2) Student learning outcomes in the first cycle of the application of the Jigsaw Learnig learning strategy from the total number of students, namely 20 students, there were only 15 students who could achieve the KKM score while 5 students were categorized as incomplete. (3) Student learning outcomes in the second cycle of the application of the Jigsaw Learnig learning strategy from the total number of students, namely 20 people have completed, and 20 students are in very good grades. Of the 20 people, none were in the good or sufficient and less categories. (4) The students' response to the application of the Jigsaw Learning learning strategy was that they admitted that they were very happy with this method. The reason is that with this method they will not be monotonous just listening to the teacher lecture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the story of Luqman as contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-19 and interpret it with the moral formation of human life. Luqman's story will be studied through a literary-language approach to mimetic criticism to find the reality that exists in real life. This approach focuses on the study of the relationship of literary works with reality or reality outside of literary works. This approach has an influence on the reader in the application of life values ​​which is a form of implementation of the story contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-19. The implementation can be in the form of attitudes and actions that are adapted to the moral message contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-19. The results of the study indicate that the literary-linguistic approach can reveal the message contained in the surah as the purpose of its revelation to humans. The reality expressed in Luqman's story in Surah Luqman verses 12-19 is religious, social, and educational. The reality of religion is the relationship between humans and God, social reality is the relationship between humans and other humans. The reality of education about the role of fathers teaches the value of the noble character to children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal in improving the quality of education in MTS. Islamic education. The focus of the study is on two things, namely the efforts of the principal in improving the quality of education, and the opportunities and obstacles of the principal in improving the quality of education. This research began with the problem of declining teacher performance, which was based on initial observations due to the lack of good quality management in the school. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Research informants are principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the efforts made by teachers go through the quality assurance cycle, namely Determination, Implementation, Implementation Evaluation, Implementation Control, and Improvement. The cycle starts from policy determination, policy implementation, evaluation of policies that have been applied, control over policies that have been realized, and follow up on evaluation results. Opportunities in improving quality can be seen from the competence of the principal, teacher motivation, and the synergy of cooperation. While the obstacles faced are the limitations of teachers in mastering learning technology so that it hampers the principal's program in terms of digitizing education.
