Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media are tools or learning resources used to facilitate the learning process in understanding Islamic values ??and teachings. PAI learning media aims to help students gain a comprehensive and contextual understanding of PAI content. The development of Islamic Religious Education learning media includes various approaches, including printed media (books, modules), audiovisual media (educational videos), and digital platforms (applications, e-learning) that are adapted to the needs and characteristics of students. By utilizing digital technology, Islamic Religious Education learning media seeks to involve students actively and critically in understanding Islam, fostering noble morals, and instilling Islamic values. This research aims to improve understanding, interest, and application of Islamic religious values ??in students. Through qualitative methods in research on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media, it is possible to gain an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness, experiences, and perceptions of students and teachers in the PAI learning process using various media. Qualitative methods allow researchers to explore how learning media, whether technology-based, visual, or traditional, influence students' interest, understanding, and engagement in religious studies. The results of the research achieved several significant results, both in terms of understanding the material, student involvement, and internalization of religious values ??in everyday life. The expected results from the use of effective Islamic Religious Education learning media are: Increasing Understanding of Material, Increasing Interest and Motivation to Learn, Developing Critical and Reflective Thinking Skills, Internalizing Religious Values ??and Increasing Student Involvement and Participation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and identify supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving students' religious attitudes through IPNU and IPPNU extracurricular activities at Madrasah Aliyah Mualimin Mualimat Rembang. This study uses a qualitative approach of case study type, with data collection techniques using interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study reveals that PAI teachers act as mentors, motivators, and role models in religious activities. These extracurricular activities have proven effective in shaping students' religious character and increasing their understanding of religious teachings. However, there are challenges in implementing the role of teachers, such as limited time and the support needed. This study reveals that the active participation of PAI teachers in extracurricular activities is crucial to achieving the desired goals of religious education.

Abstract

In the digital era, social media has become an important medium in conveying Islamic teachings and learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a document study and case study approach. This study analyzes the video content of "Belajar Islam Pake Logika" by Ustaz Felix Siauw in the channel Raymond Chin on YouTube platform, focusing on the rational approach in digital preaching as an innovation in PAI learning. Ustaz Felix emphasized the importance of using reason and logic in understanding Islamic teachings, and criticized the low level of religious literacy in Indonesia, which only reached 0.06%. This approach is considered effective in bridging Islamic teachings with the more critical and visual way of thinking of the digital generation. Although social media offers great potential in making religious learning more interesting and contextual, challenges still arise, such as disinformation, simplification of teachings, and the emergence of pseudo-authority based on popularity. Therefore, strong digital and religious literacy is needed so that people are able to sort information critically. The novelty of this study lies in the emphasis on the logical approach in digital preaching and its relevance as a moderate and inclusive learning method. This study recommends collaboration between educators, religious figures, and digital experts to build an adaptive, knowledge-based, and Islamic-value-based da'wah ecosystem. The limitation of this study is the single focus on one figure and one content, without empirical data from the audience. However, this study provides an initial contribution in understanding the transformation of Islamic da'wah through social media in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to comparatively analyze the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in three sets of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) School Examination questions in 2025 in three different regions: Rantau Pulung, Bengalon, and North Sangatta. Using the descriptive-comparative content analysis method, this study examined the proportion of HOTS questions, question characteristics, distribution of cognitive levels, and integration of contemporary issues in PAI learning evaluation instruments. The results showed the consistency of the proportion of HOTS questions in the three regions (33.33%-37.8%) with the dominance of the cognitive level of analyzing (C4), while the level of creating (C6) is still minimal. All three sets of questions showed success in contextualizing PAI materials and integrating contemporary issues, especially environmental and socio-economic issues. This study recommends increasing the proportion of creating level (C6) questions, developing more diverse stimulus questions, and strengthening interdisciplinary connections between PAI and other fields of study for a more comprehensive evaluation of PAI learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the function of interactive learning media in increasing children's enthusiasm in reading the Qur'an at TPQ Kasyifatul Ulum Bandengan. The research method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the use of interactive learning media, although only limited to basic tools such as whiteboards and hijaiyah letter cards, can increase children's enthusiasm for learning. Children's interest in reading is influenced by fun teacher methods and parental support at home. However, there are still challenges such as boredom in learning and the negative impacts of using gadgets. Therefore, consistent and innovative optimization of interactive media is needed to build an effective, fun learning process that is in accordance with the characteristics of digital generation children.

Abstract

Morals are the spirit of Islam, where religion without morals is like a lifeless body. Morals are values that guarantee human salvation from the torment of hellfire. The position of morals in human life occupies an important place, as individuals as well as communities and nations, because the rise and fall of a society depends on its morals. Morals itself is an inseparable part of human life and is able to distinguish humans from other creatures. This research uses a descriptive approach where the data collected uses more words. The writing method used in this research is a qualitative method, this research aims to describe the learning of the book of Taisirul Khalaq in the formation of morals. The results of this study are expected to support the objectives of Islamic education itself, namely the realisation of perfect morals. In the process of collecting data, the author uses several methods, namely observation, interview and documentation methods

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the evaluation results of micro teaching lectures for Islamic Education students using assessment indicators of teaching skills based on Islamic values. Islamic Education students are prepared to become prospective Islamic Education teachers through basic teaching skills that consist of skills in opening, explaining, questioning, providing reinforcement, variation, using media, managing the classroom, and closing the learning process. The observation results show that the Islamic Education students have not optimally implemented Islamic values in micro teaching practices. The preliminary questionnaire results with two indicators, opening and questioning skills, indicate that 70% of respondents are not skilled in using Islamic values. This research uses a mixed method approach by combining analysis of the results of a questionnaire on Islamic teaching skills, with coursework grades and interviews. The results show that the highest micro teaching skills based on Islamic values are found in the indicators "delivering learning objectives in an Islamic way" and "providing a review of the material and relevant connections with Islamic concepts through verses and hadiths," both of which achieved 100% (Very Skilled). In contrast, the skills with the lowest achievement of Islamic values are found in the indicator "preparing students' mental state in an Islamic way," with a percentage of 50% (Less Skilled).

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class X MA Urwatul Wutsqo through the application of film-based learning media. The background of this problem is the low student learning outcomes caused by learning methods that tend to be monotonous and the lack of innovative media. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were MA Urwatul Wutsqo grade X students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average score of students' learning outcomes reached 74, and in cycle II it increased to 81. In addition, students' activities and enthusiasm in participating in learning also increased drastically after the use of film media. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of film-based learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes and activeness in SKI subjects in class X MA Urwatul Wutsqo.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this research are: 1) What is the understanding of the people of Talang Tige Village about the Syattariah congregation? 2) What are the teachings of the Syattariyah congregation in Talang Tige Village? 3) iWhat iare ithe ifactors ithat isupport and ihinder ithe development of the sharia congregation in Talang Tige Village? 4) How does the sharia congregation influence the Talang Tige village community? This research uses a field research approach using qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained from congregants of the Syattariyah congregation and other documents. To obtain maximum results, this research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of this research conclude that: 1) The people of Talang Tige village understand that the Syattariyah order is a form of worship or teaching in strengthening monotheism through self-training in the form of practices according to the teachings of the Syattariyah order, 2) The teachings of the Syattariyah order, namely ba'iat, talqin, and dhikr which are read clearly/clearly, 3) One of the factors inhibiting the development of the Syattariyah order in Talang Tige village is the congregation's limited time to attend the al-Qur’an because they are busy working, 4) Through the order taught by the murshid, is able to provide benefits on how to cleanse themselves and practice practices that enable them to control themselves and abandon bad habits that can harm others.

Abstract

Ethnographic research is a very relevant approach to explore and understand local culture in depth, especially in the context of religious traditions in Islamic schools. By utilizing this method, researchers can explore the values, customs, traditions, and social practices that shape the identity of religious communities in Islamic schools. This article aims to examine the use of ethnographic research methods in studying cultural traditions in Islamic schools, identify the advantages and challenges faced, and provide recommendations for researchers interested in using this approach.
