Abstract

The book ‘Rasulullah Sang Guru’ (The Prophet Muhammad, the Teacher) by Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah is the main source of research on the application of the Qira'ati method. From an Islamic perspective, a teacher is seen as an educator who strives to develop the full potential of their students. To be a good role model for their students, teachers must have noble character and morals. In addition, teachers must show compassion and sincerity during the learning process so that students are motivated and enthusiastic to become active, creative, and innovative individuals. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subjects being TPQ principals and Qira'ati teachers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation, while data analysis included data presentation, data reduction, and verification. The results of the study show that: 1) the application of the Prophet's characteristics in the Qira'ati method by teachers in the classroom has an effect on student learning development; 2) the application of the Qira'ati learning method, which adopts the Prophet's method, has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Ilman wa Ruuhan dan minat menghafal terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis peserta didik kelas VIII di MTs Terpadu Al Ishlah Gorontalo. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan akan metode pembelajaran yang tidak hanya menekankan aspek kognitif, tetapi juga spiritual dan emosional peserta didik dalam memahami dan menghafal Al-Qur’an Hadis. Metode Ilman wa Ruuhan, yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan keilmuan dan ruhaniyah, dipandang mampu menumbuhkan kedekatan emosional peserta didik terhadap materi yang dipelajari, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode non eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII di MTs Terpadu Al Ishlah Gorontalo, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 83 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik simpel random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket untuk mengukur metode ilman wa ruuhan dan minat menghafal. Sementara itu, hasil belajar diukur melalui nilai evaluasi mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode Ilman wa Ruuhan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, minat menghafal juga berpengaruh secara positif terhadap capaian nilai peserta didik. Secara simultan, metode Ilman wa Ruuhan dan minat menghafal memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Al-Qur’an Hadis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode Ilman wa Ruuhan yang dipadukan dengan minat menghafal mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis. Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepada pendidik untuk menerapkan metode ini secara konsisten dan menumbuhkan minat menghafal pada peserta didik sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Excessive smartphone use in lecturer fourth semester in the 2025 academic year can cause cognitive, social, and emotional disorders. This article aims to examine the effect of smartphone use on social behaviour and emotional intelligence, among lecturer at three Islamic college lecturer in Lumajang district. This research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach, focusing on a population of 95 lecturer fourth semester in the 2025 academic year. The sample collection technique used in this study is saturated sampling. Data collection in this study utilises an instrument in the form of a questionnaire, employing a Likert scale. The stages of SmartPLS analysis include creating an Outer Model (validity and reliability of the instrument), followed by an Inner Model analysis (validity and reliability of the structural model) by calculating the PLS algorithm and analysing the R-Square value, and ending with Hypothesis Testing using bootstrapping to see the significance of the relationship between variables. Smartphone use (X) has a 50.1% impact on lecturer social behaviour (Y). Smartphone use has a 53.8% impact on  emotional intelligence. Abstract

This article examines the actualisation of the GROW model-based coaching process in enhancing the creativity of Islamic Education teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Wlingi Subdistrict and the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity checks using triangulation techniques (techniques and sources) and persistent observation to ensure the credibility and transferability of the findings. The results of the study indicate that the actualisation of coaching based on the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) has been effective in enhancing the creativity of PAI teachers. The Goal stage is realised through the setting of specific and contextual objectives, Reality through the analysis of education reports and reflection on actual conditions, Options through the exploration of various innovative solutions and good practices, and Will through commitment to action, supervision, and evaluation. The main supporting factors include the commitment of supervisors and school principals, the availability of time and consistent schedules, and positive and communicative relationships.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Indonesia is one of the challenges the government must solve. The ability to think critically about caring for the environment and disaster response is a significant issue. Students must master it because it will impact various aspects of life, such as social attitudes and religious tolerance. One solution is to provide the material using the innovative learning media, FlipBuilder. This study aims to determine the influence of critical thinking on social attitudes, assess the impact of essential thinking skills on religious tolerance attitudes, and find out the influence of critical thinking skills on students' religious tolerance attitudes when using flipbuilder learning media with the theme of environmental care and disaster response based on Islamic values. The research was conducted through a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research was conducted on grade VII students of MTsN 1 Tulungagung. Data analysis was carried out using inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant influence between critical thinking skills and social attitudes, there was a positive and significant influence between essential skills of thinking and religious tolerance attitudes, and there was a significant relationship between social attitude variables and students' religious tolerance attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Manhaji method: nahwu Sharaf guidance by reciting in learning Arabic (reading aspect) of the Al Mizan Muhammadiyah Lamongan Islamic Boarding School. The subject of this study is the 2nd grade of Diniyah Islamic Boarding School Al Mizan Muhammadiyah Lamongan. The problem experienced is the factor the factor that students cannot read in Arabic using the Manhaji method. This study uses quantitative research based on the type of data in the from of numbers, namely in the from of numbers through the suspension process based on the results of this study. The Manhaji method has no effect on Arabic language learning (reading aspect) with a t-value of calculation (0.812) < t-table (2.035), then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected meaning “The Manhaji Method has no significant effect on the Arabic language learning method (reading aspect)”, with a very low level of relationship seen from the correlation test, namely and R value of 0.140. This shows that level of relationship between the independent variable and the bound variable is very low, so it can be see that the existence of the manhaji method does not improve the Arabic language (reading aspect) of grade 2 students of the Al Mizan Muhammadiyah Lamongan Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien tercapai melalui pemilihan cara yang tepat. Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengandalkan penggunaan video sebagai sarana untuk belajar secara mandiri. Tujuan utama dari penggunaan metode ini adalah untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran sebelumnya dengan mengimplementasikan IBL. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan data utama yang diperoleh dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari jurnal dan buku. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SDN 1 Karanganyar dengan 23 siswa. Metode ini melibatkan enam langkah, yaitu orientasi atau pembukaan, perumusan masalah, formulasi hipotesis, pengumpulan data, menonton video pembelajaran, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil pembelajaran menggunakan metode IBL menunjukkan bahwa semua siswa di kelas IV SDN 1 Karanganyar memperoleh nilai di atas 75, dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 83. Setelah menerapkan metode ini, tingkat keaktifan siswa di kelas meningkat secara signifikan. Siswa menjadi lebih kritis, kreatif, dan aktif dalam diskusi, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Mereka juga menunjukkan peningkatan semangat dan rasa percaya diri dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, yang tercermin dalam pencapaian nilai yang melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) pada mata pelajaran PAI.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the impact of implementing gentle parenting principles on children's emotional management among participating parents. The scope of the research includes content analysis of posts and discussions on social media, as well as interviews with parents employing this method. The methodology involves qualitative analysis to identify key themes, such as open communication, positive reinforcement, and emotion management techniques. The findings indicate that the application of gentle parenting significantly enhances parents' ability to respond to their children's emotions while creating a safe and supportive environment. Effective communication and the use of positive reinforcement were found to boost children's self-esteem and foster healthy parent-child relationships. This research concludes that gentle parenting not only aids children in managing their emotions but also contributes to the development of resilient character

Abstract

This article aims to explore the dynamics of character education implementation in shaping students with noble character (akhlakul karimah) at SMP Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga, Lampung using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and were then thematically analyzed. The findings reveal that character education is implemented through habituation, teacher exemplification, and the reinforcement of religious culture in daily activities such as Quran recitation, congregational prayers, and religious extracurricular programs. The core values developed include religiosity, discipline, responsibility, empathy, tolerance, honesty, and integrity. The successful internalization of these values is strongly influenced by the synergy between teachers, the school, and the surrounding community. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of a collaborative and contextual approach in creating an effective character education ecosystem. The novelty of this research lies in its examination of how values of akhlakul karimah are not only taught but also brought to life through real practices, school culture, and socially embedded interactions within the local school context

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media are tools or learning resources used to facilitate the learning process in understanding Islamic values ??and teachings. PAI learning media aims to help students gain a comprehensive and contextual understanding of PAI content. The development of Islamic Religious Education learning media includes various approaches, including printed media (books, modules), audiovisual media (educational videos), and digital platforms (applications, e-learning) that are adapted to the needs and characteristics of students. By utilizing digital technology, Islamic Religious Education learning media seeks to involve students actively and critically in understanding Islam, fostering noble morals, and instilling Islamic values. This research aims to improve understanding, interest, and application of Islamic religious values ??in students. Through qualitative methods in research on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media, it is possible to gain an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness, experiences, and perceptions of students and teachers in the PAI learning process using various media. Qualitative methods allow researchers to explore how learning media, whether technology-based, visual, or traditional, influence students' interest, understanding, and engagement in religious studies. The results of the research achieved several significant results, both in terms of understanding the material, student involvement, and internalization of religious values ??in everyday life. The expected results from the use of effective Islamic Religious Education learning media are: Increasing Understanding of Material, Increasing Interest and Motivation to Learn, Developing Critical and Reflective Thinking Skills, Internalizing Religious Values ??and Increasing Student Involvement and Participation
