Abstract

Motor vehicle insurance policy is a type of contract that outlines the legal relationship between an insurance company (insurer) and an insurance customer (insured). Throughout 2024, the number of traffic accidents in Indonesia increased drastically. As of August 5, 2024, 79,220 traffic accidents were reported, based on data from the Integrated Road Safety Management System (IRSMS) of the Indonesian Police Traffic Corps. When compared to the previous period, these statistics show an alarming spike. same as the previous year.The aim of this research is to determine the variables that influence consumers' desire to buy motor vehicle insurance. Vehicle insurance is very important for protection in facing increasingly complicated traffic conditions and high risk of accidents. The literature review method, namely collecting and reviewing various related literature to determine the elements that influence consumer interest, was used in this research. Based on the study's findings, there are three main factors that significantly influence the results: product quality, price, and religiosity. Customers are more interested in car insurance when the product is of high quality and affordable prices. Apart from that, the choice of more religious customers towards insurance products that suit their views is influenced by elements of religiosity, especially those related to sharia principles. It is hoped that these results can serve as a guide for insurance businesses in creating products and marketing plans that are more suited to the needs and tastes of their clients.

Abstract

Fluctuations in the Rupiah exchange rate against the US Dollar currently tend to weaken in the long run, which is thought to be caused by excessive import activity. The existence of the Money Supply (JUB) and the Interest Rate which is a monetary policy conducted by Bank Indonesia and is thought to have a major influence on the Rupiah / USD exchange rate. This study aims to determine how much the money supply and interest rates affect the Rupiah exchange rate against the US Dollar through import activities in Indonesia from 2004-2023. This qualitative research uses secondary data (times series) from BPS Indonesia publications, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis, which has previously been confirmed to be free from classical assumption tests. The results show that JUB has a positive and significant effect on import activity. However, the interest rate, proxied by the BI rate, has little impact on imports. Indirectly, JUB has a significant effect on Rupiah exchange rate through imports, but this is not in line with the effect of interest rate. The results of the analysis suggest that monetary authorities should pay attention to JUB and interest rates in conducting import activities carried out by the government in order to maintain the stability of the Rupiah/US$ exchange rate and create a good level of economic growth.

Abstract

The mineral water industry in Indonesia continues to grow with increasing public awareness of the importance of health and a healthy lifestyle. Mineral water products are no longer considered a luxury item, but rather a basic necessity that must be available every day. With increasingly fierce competition between brands, consumers' decision to purchase a product depends on several key factors, such as price, product quality, and satisfaction. The study intends to determine the influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions, using the mediation of consumer satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative research method, this research sample is people who have bought pure life mineral water in Yogyakarta with a sample number of 123. This research was tested using SEM-PLS. The results of this research are: 1) There is no positive and significant influence of Price on Consumer Satisfaction.2) There is a significant direct influence of product quality on consumer satisfaction. 3) There is no positive and significant influence of Price, on the decision to purchase the product. 4) There is no positive and significant influence of Product Quality on Purchase Decisions. 5) There is a significant direct influence of Consumer Satisfaction on Purchase Decisions. 6) There is no positive and significant influence of Price on Purchase Decisions mediated by the Consumer Library. 7) There is a significant direct influence of Product Quality on Purchase Decisions mediated by Consumer Satisfaction).

Abstract

Bank syariah Indonesia memiliki kantor cabang yang tersebar ke seluruh Indonesia dan disetiap daerahnya memiliki kantor cabang pembantu salah satunya adalah Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Samatiga yang terletak di Jl. Meulaboh-Kuala Bhee, Reusak, Kec. Samatiga, Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Aceh Berdasarkan wawancara pada pihak BSI KCP Samatiga ada beberapa pembiayaan murabahah yang bermasalah. Nasabah tidak menjalankan kewajibannya dan tidak pula memenuhi ketentuan akad murabahah yang telah diperjanjikan di awal. Pada tahun 2022 rasio NPF BSI sebesar 3,68%, tingkat pembiayaan bermasalah tersebut mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2021 yaitu 4,83 persen, namun jika terjadi secara terus menerus juga akan berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan bank seperti menyebabkan kerugian dan berkurangnya keuntungan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya pembiayaan bermasalah pada pembiayaan Murahabah dan menentukan strategi yang harus dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan, mencegah serta mengurangi terjadinya pembiayaan bermasalah pada pembiayaan Murahabah di Bank BSI KCP Samatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis didapatkan strategi yang dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan pembiayaan murabahah yang bermasalah pada Bank BSI KCP Samatiga adalah dengan stay strategy (Regular Collection dan Restrukturisasi) dan out strategy (Menyita Angunan).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh pengetahuan dan uang saku terhadap minat investasi syariah di kalangan mahasiswa. OJK memprediksi bahwa mahasiswa akan memainkan peran penting dalam investasi jangka panjang, tetapi sebagian besar dari mereka masih memiliki pemahaman dasar tentang investasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan 100 mahasiswa di Bandar Lampung sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui SPSS versi 26. Analisis tersebut mencakup uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. (uji F, uji T, dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat investasi syariah di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies implemented by the government to alleviate poverty in Medan and evaluate their effectiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of secondary data from official documents, government reports, and related literature. The findings indicate that various policies, such as social assistance programs, job training, and community empowerment, have yielded positive impacts. However, challenges in implementation, such as unequal distribution and lack of community participation, remain significant obstacles. Recommendations are provided to enhance stakeholder synergy and leverage technology in the distribution of aid programs.

Abstract

The Islamic insurance industry has rapidly developed in recent decades, driven by Sharia principles such as risk sharing, justice, and avoidance of gharar (uncertainty) and riba (interest). This research aims to explore the role of blockchain technology in enhancing operations and risk management in the Islamic insurance industry. The research method used is a literature review, gathering data from books, journals, and articles related to blockchain technology and Islamic insurance. The findings indicate that blockchain technology has significant potential to improve transparency, security, and efficiency in Islamic insurance. Blockchain can record transactions openly and immutably, ensuring honesty and openness in line with Sharia principles. The use of smart contracts allows for the automation of claims processes and reduction of administrative costs. However, blockchain implementation faces challenges such as regulatory uncertainty, high initial costs, and a shortage of experienced professionals. The application of blockchain technology in Islamic insurance in Indonesia is still under development, with many Islamic insurance companies in the evaluation and trial phase before deciding on full adoption. This is due to the need for significant investment in technology infrastructure and limited understanding and expertise in blockchain technology among Islamic insurance practitioners.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of convenience on the implementation of E-PAD on hotel taxes by intervening taxpayer satisfaction, the influence of user perceptions on the implementation of E-PAD on hotel taxes in Banyuwangi district with the intervening variable taxpayer satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques using a Google Form questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed with the help of the SmartPLS 4.0 software application. The research results show that the variables of convenience and user perception have a positive effect on the implementation of E-PAD on hoyel taxes by using taxpayer satisfaction interventions.

Abstract

Multi Level Marketing system provides benefits for various parties, including entrepreneurs, both producers and Multi Level Marketing companies. A very controversial thing in this business is that prospective members who want to join are required to first buy goods so that the purchased goods will later be marketed again and by providing work motivation to members to recruit members to increase the distribution network of goods. The writing of this article uses a qualitative research design in the form of Library Research, using data collection techniques through journals and related books. The results of this study indicate that Multi Level Marketing Business can be considered haram if the product is only used as a tool to get bonuses, because commissions in the Multi Level Marketing system often depend on downline performance. Although the model agreement may be declared valid, another problem that arises is the willingness of downline members to join. However, because he wants to become a member and must meet the requirements to buy the product first, the prospective member is forced to buy it. Transactions like this are considered haram if the goal is more for sales or recruitment bonuses than for the product itself.

Abstract

In the current digital era, many people have used digital as a means for business development. Digital is not only a platform for social interaction, but also an important tool for marketing, branding and business development. Many regions have successfully harnessed the power of social media to drive the growth and success of certain businesses. This article aims to provide a systematic literature review regarding the role of digital for micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Systematic literature review (SLR) is a secondary study to map, identify, critically evaluate, consolidate, and collect the results of primary studies on a particular research topic. SLR is defined as the process of identifying, appraising, and interpreting all available research evidence with the goal of providing answers to specific research questions. The application of SLR is to identify, evaluate, and interpret all available and relevant literature related to the research question or domain. From 20,000 data, ± 50 journals were obtained which were almost similar to the research theme which would enter the screening stage using inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the quality and relevance of the articles to the themes raised. Digital technology helps MSMEs to grow, become more efficient, and remain competitive in an increasingly digital market.
