Abstract

EXPLORING ETHICAL VALUES, MORALITY, AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS Islamic education holds a highly strategic position in shaping students’ character, particularly through the internalization of fundamental values that encompass ethics, morality, and social responsibility. This strategic role is evident in its ability to guide learners not only toward cognitive competence but also toward moral and spiritual development, which serves as the foundation of a holistic personality. In this context, this article seeks to comprehensively examine the value foundations in Islamic education, including the normative principles that guide character formation. The discussion also focuses on how these values are implemented in the formal curriculum and within the educational environment through learning processes, habitual practices, and the exemplary conduct of educators which together function as a medium for value internalization. This article further analyzes the relevance of instilling ethical, moral, and social responsibility values in forming a generation that possesses not only intellectual intelligence but also noble character, integrity, and social awareness. Findings from the analysis indicate that integrating Islamic values into all aspects of educational implementation from curriculum planning and execution to the model provided by educators and the development of a religious and ethical institutional culture significantly contributes to the creation of insan kamil, individuals who embody a balance of intellectual, spiritual, moral, and social dimensions. Moreover, this article strengthens its scholarly arguments by drawing on empirical references from various indexed journals published within the last five years. As a result, the analysis presented is not only grounded in strong theoretical foundations but is also validated by contemporary research findings relevant to the current developments in Islamic education.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN BUILDING A CULTURE OF INNOVATION IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS Improving the quality of teaching staff in madrasah is crucial for enhancing the quality of education, both academically and religiously. The purpose of this article is to explain the importance of effective teaching staff planning, analyze appropriate development strategies, and provide a method that focuses on teacher well-being and morale. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection utilized a literature review, analyzing various sources such as accredited journals, books, and educational policy documents. The results indicate that effective teaching staff development involves a combination of teacher well-being, morale, and work culture. Implementing a sustainable and planned strategy can enhance teacher professionalism, improve the quality of the teaching and learning process, and strengthen educational management in madrasas.

Abstract

CONTEMPORARY ISSUES OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONThis research aims to analyze contemporary issues in human resource management (HRM) in Islamic education and outlines the basic concepts of HRM from an Islamic perspective. The research aims to offer relevant and applicable solutions to Islamic educational institutions. Key issues discussed include the competency gap in the digital era, the mismatch between Islamic values and modern professional demands, and the limitations of conventional management systems. This qualitative study employed a literature review method. Findings indicate that addressing these challenges requires a strategic transformation in HRM in Islamic education. The solutions offered include Continuous Competency Development, Value Harmonization, and Technology Adoption.

Abstract

IDENTIFICATION OF CHEMISTRY EDUCATION STUDENTS' ARGUMENTATION ABILITIES IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY PRACTICESThis study aims to determine the argumentation skills of Chemistry Education students in Analytical Chemistry laboratory activities. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches with a sample of Chemistry Education students. Data on argumentation skills were collected through post-test assessments and group discussions, then analyzed based on the categories of very high, high, moderate, low, and very low. The results showed that 18.18% of students had very high argumentation skills, 31.82% had high argumentation skills, 22.73% had moderate argumentation skills, 13.64% had low argumentation skills, and 13.64% had very low argumentation skills. These findings indicate a variation in students’ argumentation abilities, with the majority falling into the high category; however, some students still need to improve their argumentation skills. This study highlights the importance of implementing argumentation-based laboratory guides to foster the development of critical thinking and systematic argumentation skills among all students.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF HEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS ON THE PURCHASE INTENTION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PACKAGING INSTANT WEDANG UWUH IN THE CITY OF SURAKARTA: AN EXPANDED TPB MODELThis study aims to expand empirical insights into environmentally friendly purchasing behavior by examining the effects of health consciousness and environmental awareness on consumers’ purchase intention toward eco-packaged instant wedang uwuh. The research is grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which positions attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control as central constructs influencing behavioral intention. A quantitative causal design was applied, and primary data were collected through a Google Form questionnaire completed by 302 respondents in Surakarta City. SmartPLS was employed to analyze direct effects as well as mediation pathways, providing a comprehensive understanding of intervariable relationships. The findings indicate that several hypotheses were not supported, including the effect of attitude on purchase intention, the direct effect of environmental awareness on purchase intention, and the influence of health consciousness on subjective norm. Nevertheless, health consciousness significantly affected attitude, perceived behavioral control, and purchase intention. Moreover, environmental awareness showed significant effects on attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control, highlighting its importance in shaping consumer evaluations and perceived behavioral capabilities. Mediation analysis revealed two significant indirect pathways: mediation through subjective norm and perceived behavioral control in the relationship between environmental awareness and purchase intention. Meanwhile, other mediation pathways demonstrated positive directions but did not reach statistical significance.

Abstract

Exploration of Factors That Encourage and Hinder Student Learning Discipline at STTD Al Birru Majenang Student learning discipline serves as the primary foundation for educational success at STTD Al Birru Majenang, an institution for training elementary-level Islamic religious teachers. This research explores the factors promoting and inhibiting student learning discipline in depth. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 5 students, classroom observations, and school document analysis over two months. Promoting factors include the teacher's role as an Islamic role model, a conducive learning environment integrating moral values, and parental support through family education. Conversely, inhibiting factors encompass inadequate learning facilities, the influence of gadgets and social media, and students' household chores burden. Findings indicate that strengthening a holistic Islamic-based approach effectively enhances discipline. This study recommends that STTD Al Birru management optimize character-building strategies to achieve quality educational goals.

Abstract

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IN O2O (ONLINE-TO-OFFLINE) TRADING: FRESH PRODUCT PERSPECTIVE AT SARTO KENONGO PURWODADI CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANTThe development of online-to-offline (O2O) commerce has provided convenience for customers to order food digitally while enjoying the service directly at the restaurant. This model is becoming increasingly relevant for businesses that sell fresh products, including the Chinese Food restaurant Sarto Kenongo Purwodadi, which faces high demands regarding freshness, quality, and service reliability. This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate image, customer expectations, perceived quality, perceived value, product risk, and online shopping risk on customer satisfaction in the context of O2O commerce at the restaurant. The approach used is a quantitative method thru online distribution of questionnaires to customers, with measurement using a 5-point Likert scale and data analysis performed using SmartPLS. The research results indicate that corporate image has a positive and significant impact on customer expectations, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. Perceived quality is also proven to have a significant impact on customer expectations, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, customer expectations positively influence perceived value, and perceived value significantly impacts customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, product risk did not significantly affect customer satisfaction, but online shopping risk showed a positive and significant influence. These findings indicate that corporate image, service quality, and customer values and expectations are key factors shaping customer satisfaction in the O2O model. Therefore, restaurants need to improve product quality, service consistency, and strengthen brand image to ensure optimal customer experiences both online and offline.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF THE PANCAWALUYA VALUE HABITUATION PROGRAM IN CREATING A CHARACTER-BASED SCHOOL AT SMAN 1 LIGUNGCharacter education is an important foundation in the formation of a generation with good morals, intelligence, and responsibility. SMAN 1 Ligung through the Pancawaluya Values Habituation Program (Cageur, Bageur, Bener, Pinter, and Singer) strives to instill moral, social, and spiritual values that are integrated into all school activities. This study aims to analyze the role and implementation of the Pancawaluya values habituation program in realizing a character-based school with a religious values-based educational management approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of Pancawaluya values is able to form a school culture that is religious, disciplined, socially concerned, and oriented towards improving the quality of learning. Educational management at SMAN 1 Ligung plays an important role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the habituation program through cross-sector coordination, strengthening teacher capacity, and habituating religious and social activities. Religious values are the main foundation in the internalization of Pancawaluya values so that students are physically and mentally healthy, have noble morals, and have strong characters.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH LEARNING ACTIVITIES AT NURUL IMANIYAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL KUNINGANThis study aims to analyze the implementation of character education through learning activities at the Nurul Imaniyah Kuningan Islamic Boarding School. Character education in Islamic boarding schools is considered strategic in facing various moral challenges of adolescents, so an empirical study is needed regarding the practice, supporting and inhibiting factors, and its impact on students. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method and data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of character education is carried out holistically through the integration of formal learning such as the study of yellow books that instill moral values, etiquette, patience, and obedience with non-formal activities such as halaqah, muhadarah, and habituation of worship that strengthen intellectual, social, and spiritual character. The main supporting factors include the exemplary behavior of kyai and ustadz, structured activities, and collaboration with parents, while several inhibiting factors arise from the diversity of student backgrounds, limited infrastructure, and a lack of teaching staff. Overall, character education at this Islamic boarding school has a significant impact on forming students who are noble, disciplined, independent, and have integrity.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GROUP COUNSELING TRAINING GUIDE WITH SELF REGULATED LEARNING TECHNIQUES TO INCREASE THE RESILIENCE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTSAcademic problems among students are not only related to cognitive abilities, but are also closely related to psychological aspects, particularly resilience. Students with low levels of resilience tend to exhibit academic symptoms such as easily giving up when faced with tasks, lacking confidence in expressing opinions, and struggling to control emotions. Resilience is an individual's ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt positively, and cope with life's challenges and pressures in a healthy and productive manner. The low level of resilience shown by junior high school students is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling training guidelines using self-regulated learning techniques to improve the resilience of students at SMPN 3 Bojonegoro. The method used was a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. The analysis results indicate a significant improvement in students with low resilience, with 7 respondents showing an increase in average scores from 57% to 73% between the pretest and posttest. This suggests that group counseling training using self-regulated learning techniques is effective in enhancing students' resilience. This training program is expected to serve as a relevant and practical alternative service to help students optimize their resilience.
