Abstract

This study aims to investigate the sustainable premium on sustainable bonds issued by companies in Indonesia and the influence of the determinants of yield sustainable corporate bonds in Indonesia during 2020-2023. Amid its abundant issuance, the study found that there was no sustainable premium on sustainable corporate bonds in Indonesia during the period of the research. This happened due to the influence of market conditions during the pandemic Covid-19 and post pandemic Covid-19. However, the trend of yield to maturity’s movement of sustainable bonds annually tend to go down and flat which implies that risk of sustainable bond also declines as it is on post pandemic era. As for ESG risk, bond’s rating, GDP, inflation and bond type are having significant effect on yield to maturity of sustainable bonds, while modified duration and issue terms did not have significant effect on sustainable bonds’ yield

Abstract

The five Super Priority Destinations (DSP) in Indonesia—Lake Toba, Borobudur, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo, and Likupang—are designated National Tourism Strategic Areas with immense potential and unique attractions. However, further development is required to elevate these destinations to the world-class quality of Bali. This research aims to explore how human resource development (HRD) is being implemented across these DSPs to facilitate their growth. Adopting a mixed-method approach, the study conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses through observations, literature reviews, and secondary data. The research's novelty lies in its comprehensive examination of HRD practices simultaneously across all five DSPs, filling a gap in the current literature and providing a unique insight into the strategic development of Indonesia's priority tourism areas

Abstract

This article aims to analyze several articles on the topic of coordination in the public sector using the literature review method. Results This study addresses the importance of coordination at different levels of government, organizations, and companies, which is a complex challenge and depends on the specific context. Hegele (2018) found that government coordination is more often focused on structural structuring than policy substance. Shi & Gao (2016) emphasized that the effectiveness of global account management is greatly influenced by operational conditions. Rios (2015) underlines the importance of intergovernmental coordination in addressing drug trafficking in Mexico, while Dieperink et al. (2018) point out that multilevel governance coordination is essential in managing urban flood resilience. These findings emphasize that for poverty alleviation programs, the Indonesia government must build effective multi-stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the programs

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of board effectiveness and strategic decision-making on the effectiveness of management control systems (MCS) with organizational context as a moderating variable in cyclical and non-cyclical sector companies in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, data was collected through questionnaires from 127 members of the board of directors and top management of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. Hierarchical regression analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. The research results show that board effectiveness and strategic decision-making have a significant positive effect on MCS effectiveness. Organizational context is proven to moderate the relationship between these two independent variables and MCS effectiveness, where the influence is stronger in a more dynamic and complex organizational context. The research model was able to explain 61.5% of the variation in MCS effectiveness. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the development of MCS literature by integrating the perspectives of corporate governance, strategic decision making, and contingency theory. Practically, the research results provide insight for public companies in Indonesia in designing and implementing effective MCS by considering the role of the board of directors, the quality of strategic decision making, and the organizational context

Abstract

The rapid growth of MSMEs in Kupang City faces significant challenges, including limited financial literacy, difficulties in accessing capital, and the integration of financial technology (fintech). This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and access to capital on the performance of MSMEs, with financial technology as a moderating variable. The research adopts a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys from a sample of 100 MSME owners in Kupang City. The data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software to test the relationships among the variables. The results are expected to demonstrate that financial literacy and access to capital significantly affect MSME performance, and that financial technology strengthens these relationships. The findings will contribute to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the importance of fintech in enhancing MSME growth and will offer policy recommendations for improving financial literacy, capital access, and technology adoption in MSMEs.
