Abstract

Self-esteem is an important aspect of adolescent mental health and can be influenced by various factors related to social media use. Through a literature review and interviews, data were collected and then analyzed using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach to build a structural model depicting the interactions among these factors. The literature review identified nine key factors: Feelings of Loneliness, Types of Social Media Interactions, Content Consumed, Social Support from Social Media, Social Comparison, Cyberbullying, Control over Social Media Use, Parental Involvement, Intensity of Social Media Use, and Identity Development. The ISM model revealed that the factor of feelings of loneliness (F1) is at the fourth or most fundamental level in the hierarchy of factors, while the intensity of social media use (F9) is at the highest level. Therefore, the role of parental involvement (F8) is a crucial foundation to address feelings of loneliness (F1), because if adolescents feel lonely, they may turn to social media as an escape, which can negatively impact self-esteem if not properly controlled. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies to enhance adolescent self-esteem.

Abstract

Employees are every individual who can produce goods and facilities through work in order to meet their own needs and the needs of the community, either inside or outside the employment relationship. The purpose of this study is more interested in knowing empirically related to employee engagement in terms of career development and welfare in employees at PT X. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. The results of this study obtained data by link google form using two items, namely favorable and unfavorable on the 24-item employee engagement scale, 45-item career development and 39-item welfare distributed to 133 employees of PT X with the provisions of men and women in the age range of 18-43 years, the average education of SMK to S1 with a tenure of more than 1 year - 3 years and above. This indicates that there is a positive relationship of 0.000 (p<0.01) between career development and employee well-being with employee engagement in employees and there is a positive relationship between employee engagement, thus the hypothesis proposed in this stuy is accepted.

Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual violence currently does not show a significant decline, apart from that the psychological impact it causes is not simple. The aim of this study was to identify the most effective approaches in helping victims of sexual violence recover. In this study, the method used by researchers is a literature review study with a narrative approach (Narrative Review). This method aims to allow wider exploration of the topic and be more flexible. The results of the study found that the psychological intervention strategy based on Brofenbrener's ecological theory is to pay attention to several important things, namely the importance of interventions that focus on trauma recovery and increasing self-acceptance of victims, the importance of involving family members and friends in the victim's therapy process, so the need for education of family and friends. is very necessary, as well as a comprehensive government policy in handling and preventing cases of sexual violence which can start from the allocation of adequate resources for psychological services as well as legal reform in considering the psychological impact of victims. By analyzing these factors, psychological intervention strategies for victims of sexual violence can be achieved. to the maximum.

Abstract

The role of multicultural values for society, especially the younger generation, is very important, namely so that people can live together by having complementary attitudes and feelings so as to create a peaceful and prosperous life. This research uses bibliometric analysis of published works that discuss related research on multicultural values. The objectives of the research are: 1) Presenting an in-depth bibliometric analysis as a basis for understanding the latest developments and trends in multicultural values, 2) Knowing the development of the number of published articles on the topic of multicultural values and 3) Analyzing the results of visualization of trends in the discussion of multicultural values. The research data was sourced from Google Scholar with a publication period of 5 years (2019-2024) and processed using Publish or Perish and VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis found that the development of published works with the trend of “multicultural values” is significantly increasing and increasingly varied in the discussion of related research. It is hoped that through the research findings there are many parties who are helped and make research as material in conducting further research on related discussions.

Abstract

Isu pengangguran terdidik memerlukan perhatian khusus dari pihak pemerintah secara luas dan universitas secara khusus. Kemampuan adaptabilitas karier, kematangan karier dan pemahaman etos kerja Islami memainkan peran penting dalam kesiapan kerja setelah lulus. Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat hubungan antara adaptabilitas karier, kematangan karier, etos kerja islami dengan kesiapan kerja lulusan. Instrumen penelitian mengadaptasi teori berbagai ahli dalam bidang karier yaitu kesiapan kerja (Caballero et al), etos kerja islami (Wahab), kematangan karier (Savickas), dan adaptabilitas karier (Maggiori). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester akhir yang akan melakukan ujian munaqosah/kelulusan di Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi bulan Juni 2024 yaitu berjumlah 246 orang. Dengan purposive sampling yaitu semua anggota populasi menjadi sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hipotesis H1 tidak dapat diterima sepenuhnya karena variabel adaptabilitas karier dan etos kerja islami terdapat hubungan dengan kesiapan kerja, sedangkan variabel kematangan karier tidak terdapat hubungan dengan kesiapan kerja.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic values-based therapeutics is very important in an Islamic educational institution.  This is due to the increasing behavioral and emotional challenges faced by students. Therefore, a therapeutic approach that integrates Islamic values is expected to help students in the process of self-healing and character development. The research method used is qualitative with a case study design, which allows researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of this practice. The subjects of this study were Mas Yapen Teachers and Students consisting of 10 teachers and 30 Students.  Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document studies related to Mas Yapem. Observations were conducted to understand interactions in the educational environment, while in-depth interviews provided insight into participants' experiences and perceptions. The data analysis technique used the thematic analysis method, in which the data obtained would be categorized and the main themes identified. Triangulation of sources and methods was used to enhance the credibility of the findings. The results of the study are expected to provide practical recommendations for Mas Yapem and other Islamic educational institutions in implementing Islamic values-based therapeutic approaches effectively and sustainably, so as to help students overcome psychological and emotional problems better

Abstract

Parents consist of a father and mother, but unfortunately the figure of a mother is often considered by society as someone who is responsible for educating or nurturing a child, this is because of the patriarchal culture in Indonesia that has been ingrained for a long time. In forming a family, the father is the main pillar in a family. Father is the leader of the family, it is the father who determines what the future of his family will be like. The absence of the father is what causes father hunger for children. Father Hunger is caused by various factors including divorce, problems in parents, the death of fathers or fathers who work outside the area of residence. This research approach uses a descriptive quantitative method with data analysis using the help of SPSS Version 25 software. The purpose of this study is to obtain information as well as understanding through the influence of father hunger on students' learning motivation. So the research was conducted at SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin with a sample of 43 students. The results of the study showed that there was a negative influence between father hunger on learning motivation. Father hunger has an influence of 26.7% on students' motivation to learn

Abstract

The aim of this research is to clarify the differences between social support and self-actualization. based on the educational story of the stunting Family Support Team in Surabaya City. This research uses a quantitative research model by applying reciprocal or cause and effect research. The total number of subjects was 376 volunteers from the Stunting Family Support Team in Surabaya City. The sample size is based on the Krejcie and Morgan table with a total family support team population of 6,000 members. The data collection procedure uses an online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale using Google Forms. The data analysis procedure uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it is proven that there is a significant difference between middle school, high school, diploma and bachelor's education history with a sig.<0.05 value found in the high school education history, while middle school, diploma and bachelor's education history does not show a sig.<0.05. Based on the significance value obtained, there is quite a significant difference between educational history and social support variables on self-actualization

Abstract

Students are students who are experiencing a process of change and are vulnerable to problems that are often faced, therefore the implementation of guidance and counseling services in high schools is not based solely on the absence or legal basis (legislation). Self-authenticity arises when individuals regulate themselves in a way that fulfills their basic psychological needs, such as competence, determining their fate and relating to others. Students at the high school level are in the transition stage from adolescence to adulthood. In the process, they will face problems related to choosing education and careers after completing high school This research has the aim: To find out whether there is a correlation between Self Authenticity and Career Aspirations in Banjar Tribe High School students. The research design used is correlational research. In this research, there are two variabels that will be studied, namely the variabel (X) Self Authenticity which is the independent variabel and the variabel (Y) Career Aspiration which is the dependent variabel. The sample was used using a non-random sampling method with purposive sampling, namely based on previous knowledge about the population and the specific objectives of the research.
