Abstract

Hedonic lifestyle usually occurs in people who live in the city because they are pampered with all the facilities available, such as malls, restaurants, cafes, apartments, hotels and other facilities which are of course not far from home so they are very easy to reach for all groups, especially students SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. In an effort to reduce hedonic lifestyles in students who pay attention to the context of time and applicability, especially in school settings, the counseling services that will be used are group counseling services, self-management techniques and reality techniques. This research aims to determine group counseling self-management techniques and reality techniques to reduce students' hedonic lifestyles. The type of research used is a quantitative research method, repeated measure experimental design. The reason researchers use this experimental pattern is to see the effects of a treatment on other variables. This research has a pretest and multiple posttest design and uses data analysis methods: descriptive analysis, normality test, sphericity test, and parametric statistics with one-way Anova test.

Abstract

Marriage is considered the basis for carrying out better social engineering and is one of society's most important basic principles of life. Quality family building is considered to foster a superior generation for a nation. However, happiness in marriage is not always easy to achieve, sometimes, the partner's expectations do not match the reality of domestic life. The inability of a prospective bride and groom to prepare provisions to build family resilience can cause various problems. Early marriage, which occurs among teenagers under the age of 20, is still a phenomenon in Indonesia. Factors such as economics, parental influence, and local community customs contribute to the practice of early marriage. Couples who marry at a young age often face problems due to a lack of maturity in managing communication, conflict and emotions. Pre-marital guidance is considered an effort to overcome a couple's inability to build family resilience. Marriage counseling is a necessary solution for families experiencing disharmony, intending to minimize problems and achieve happiness in married life. Marriage counselors, as trained professionals, aim to help couples resolve their marital problems. Marriage counseling aims to help couples understand and accept their differences, create good relationship patterns, and resolve conflicts. This literature study concludes that early marriage can cause various problems, and marriage counseling has an important role in overcoming these conflicts. Counseling helps couples understand, accept, and resolve their differences, minimize problems, and achieve happiness in marriage.

Abstract

Teenagers often think about the possibilities that could happen. They think about ideal characteristics of themselves, others, and the world. We often encounter individuals with pleasant attitudes in life. However, sometimes, they don't realize they have symptoms of a people-pleasing attitude. Attachment does not always have a good impact on a person, especially when the individual enters the world of adolescence. This research analyzes the relationship between People-Pleasure and Attachment of SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin students. The research design used is correlational research of two variables: variable (X) People Pleasing and variable (Y) Attachment. The sample was taken using random sampling from 62 students. The scale used in this research is People Pleasing by Braiker (2001), which consists of 24 items, and the Attachment Scale (Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment/IPPA) by Armsden & Mark T. Greenberg in 1987, which consists of 25 items.  Validity in this research is in the form of Pearson Correlation people pleaser validity 0,63 and Attachment 0,58, and reliability in this research is Cronbach's Alpha with people pleaser reliability 0.722 and Attachment 0.703. The hypothesis test results show a very strong and significant correlation between the people-pleasing and Attachment variables of 0.944.

Abstract

Early adults experience a transition period from adolescence to adulthood with responsible roles involving themselves in social relationships and exploration. The changes that occur are not only biological but also psychological. Feelings of loneliness can arise because individuals feel dissatisfied with the relationships or social relationships they are currently in. Although not everyone with self-harm behavior will always end up committing suicide, people with this behavior are at risk. Suicide, suicide attempts, self-harm, and suicidal ideation are significant public health problems among the younger generation. This research aims to determine the correlation between loneliness, self-harm and suicidal ideation in high school students who live on the riverbank. This researcher used correlation statistics to test the relationship between Loneliness, Self-Harm and Suicidal Ideation in high school students living in Pinggiran Sungai. Samples were taken using random sampling. This research uses several data analysis techniques. Product moment correlation is used to test the relationship between two variables and multiple regression and ANOVA are used to test hypotheses about the relationship between two or more variables together. Validity in this research is in the form of Pearson Correlation Loneliness validity 0.75, Self-Harm 0.78, Suicidal Ideation 0.80, and reliability in this research is Cronbach's Alpha with reliability loneliness 0.82, self-harm 0.85, Suicidal ideation 0.88This research found a significant relationship between Loneliness (X1) and Self-Harm (X2) with Suicidal Ideation (Y). Loneliness has a greater influence (coefficient 0.414) than Self-Harm (coefficient 0.109). Overall, these two variables are significant in influencing Suicidal Ideation in high school students on the riverbank.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether online gaming addiction influences interpersonal communication and learning motivation among students at SMKN 5 Banjarmasin. The research employs a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population consists of 184 students, with purposive sampling specifically targeting those experiencing online gaming addiction, resulting in a sample of 42 students. The research instruments include questionnaires covering online gaming addiction, interpersonal communication, and learning motivation. Instrument validity was tested using two methods: expert validity and construct validity. The reliability of the instruments was measured using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Data analysis was conducted using MANOVA. The results showed that online gaming addiction did not significantly affect interpersonal communication (significance value 0.103 > 0.05) but had a significant effect on learning motivation (significance value 0.027 < 0.05). Furthermore, no significant effect was found on both interpersonal communication and learning motivation simultaneously (most significance values > 0.05). The study concludes that online gaming addiction only affects learning motivation, while it does not impact interpersonal communication or the combination of both. The implications suggest that interventions to reduce the impact of online gaming addiction at SMKN 5 Banjarmasin should focus on improving learning motivation. Additionally, further research is needed to understand the dynamics between online gaming addiction and other aspects of student development.

Abstract

In contemporary society, it is common to observe the trend of early marriage. Various factors, including age, play a significant role in determining one's readiness for marriage. As an individual's age increases, it tends to have a positive impact on their preparedness for marriage and the stability of their marital relationships. This research aims to assess the extent of age's influence on marriage preparedness in young women attending Madrasah Aliyah. The study encompassed a population of 83 female adolescents enrolled in Madrasah Aliyah. Given the limited population size (less than 100), a sampling technique was employed to select the sample. The analysis method employed was simple linear regression, with age serving as the independent variable and marriage readiness as the dependent variable.. The influence of the age variable on readiness to marry adolescent women in Madrasyah Aliyah can be seen from the results of simple linear regression analysis with sig. is 0.038 < 0.05. The results of the research show that age has a significant effect on the readiness to marry among young women at Madrasah Aliyah. The research suggestion is that future researchers further expand the research population so that the research results can be used and generalized. Keywords:Readiness for Marriage; Young lady

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah suatu masa yang komplek, merupakan masa pencarian jati diri, penuh dengan gejolak-gejolak emosi, baik yang positif maupun negatif. Disabilitas secara umum merupakan suatu pemaknaan yang digunakan untuk seseorang yang mengalami cacat, baik cacat fisik maupun cacat mental. Keterlibatan orangtua memiliki arti yang penting bagi anak terutama anak penyandang disabilitas. Anak penyandang disabilitas umumnya membutuhkan keterlibatan orangtua yang lebih dibandingkan anak pada umumnya. Peran orang tua sangat diperlukan dalam membantu mereka melakukan perkembangan perilaku maupun beradaptasi dengan lingkungan.Solusi yang ditawarkan atas permasalahan tersebut antara lain: 1) Upaya membantu orang tua anak disabilitas dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam pola asuh, 2) Memberikan pemahaman kepada orang tua Dalam Parenting Self-Efficacy Bagi Orang Tua Penyandang Disabilitas Di Yayasan Rumah Disabilitas Borneo Banjarmasin, 3) Memberikan wokshop Pengasuhan (Good Parenting) Dalam Parenting Self-Efficacy Bagi Orang Tua Penyandang Disabilitas Di Yayasan Rumah Disabilitas Borneo Banjarmasin.Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 kali pertemuan dengan berbagai metode seperti ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktek. Khalayak sasaran pada kegiatan ini adalah 25 orang tua anak disabilitas pada yayasan rumah disabilitas borneo Banjarmasin. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keilmuan baru bagi anak tunarungu dalam melaksanakan konseling sebaya.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif yang dialami siswi di SMA menjadikannya membeli barang yang tidak perlu, kurang perlu, maupun tidak seharusnya. Hal ini berdampak pada pemborosan uang, terbentuknya grup reverensi, dan terciptanya kebutuhan palsu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara perilaku konsumtif dan variabel bebas yang didalam yakni self-esteem dan self-image. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas X di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 99 orang. Peneliti menggunakan uji hipotesis Pearson product moment dan korelasi berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS 21. Hasil uji signifikansi Pearson product moment dan analisis korelasi berganda signifikansi 2 arah sebesar 0.000 dan signifikansi F change sebesar 0.000 yang berarti sig. < 0.05 artinya antar variabel memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Korelasi Pearson pada variabel X1 dengan Y dan variabel X2 dengan variabel Y sebesar 0.576 & 0.569 yang keduanya bermakna memiliki korelasi cukup kuat. Pada korelasi berganda antara X1 & X2 dengan Y memiliki nilai 0.596 yang bermakna ketiga variabel berkorelasi cukup kuat. Kesimpulannya, semakin tinggi/positif self-esteem dan self-image maka semakin besar pula perilaku konsumtifnya atau sebaliknya.

Abstract

Layanan bimbingan konseling membantu siswa mengatasi masalah pribadi, sosial, dan akademik serta mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Namun, di SMKN 2 Banjarbaru, layanan ini masih lemah akibat kurang optimalnya manajemen, seperti perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian program pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mutu layanan bimbingan konseling, faktor yang memengaruhinya, hambatan yang dihadapi, serta strategi peningkatan di SMKN 2 Banjarbaru tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya strategi komprehensif dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Sekolah harus lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa serta lebih aktif melibatkan mereka dalam proses konseling. Konselor juga rutin mengevaluasi program demi efektivitasnya. Salah satu saran dari siswa adalah memperpanjang durasi sesi konseling individu karena waktu yang tersedia sering kali kurang cukup. Abstract

Hubungan antara interaksi teman sebaya dan minat belajar sangat mempengaruhi tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa. Dukungan positif dari teman sebaya berperan sebagai pendorong yang membangkitkan motivasi serta minat belajar siswa, sehingga membantu siswa menghindari perilaku bertahan nunda dalam memenuhi tanggung jawab akademik dengan menyelesaikan tugas. Riset ini dimaksudkan guna memahami dan menganalisis bentuk sekaligus kekuatan hubungan antara interaksi teman sebaya dan minat belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Metode korelasional kuantitatif digunakan dengan instrumen kuesioner Likert dan analisis SPSS 27 (uji normalitas, linearitas, korelasi pearson, dan regresi ganda). Hasil menunjukkan adanya korelasi sedang, keterkaitan yang terbukti signifikan antara interaksi teman sebaya dan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik (r ≈ 0,44; p < 0,01), serta antara minat belajar dan prokrastinasi (r ≈ 0,50; p < 0,01). Analisis regresi ganda menggambarkan bahwa kedua variabel secara bersamaan menjelaskan sekitar 29 % variansi prokrastinasi (R = 0,538; F < 0,001). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan interaksi sosial dan motivasi internal saling melengkapi dalam mengurangi perilaku penundaan tugas siswa.
