Abstract

This research is aimed at obtaining an industrial sector that has the ability to produce an Average Return Per Unit Risk (ARPUR) which is significantly better than the ability of other industrial sectors as a reference for implementing a return per unit risk-based investment strategy. In this study, 900 average return per unit risk data from each industrial sector index for the 2004 to 2018 observation period were used. The research data was generated from 35235 daily return data from all index sectors in the Jakarta Stock Industry Classification downloaded from the Bloomberg terminal. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, Analysis of variance and further tests. For investors who emphasize attention to the industrial sector with the best average ARPUR in determining the Return Per Unit Risk-Based Investment Strategy, attention can be paid to industrial sector 9 (JAKTRAD, Jakarta Trade, Services, and Investment) and industrial sector 6 (JAKPROP, Jakarta Construction, Property, and Real Estate) which ranks first and ranks second for the highest average ARPUR. However, based on a more comprehensive study, industrial sector 9 provides more comfort for investors because in addition to showing the highest average ARPUR performance, it also shows a lower dispersion than sector 6.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the Decision-Making Factors for the Selection of Private Universities at the Wiyatamandala School of Economics (Empirical Studies on Management and Accounting Undergraduate Students Class of 2018-2021 Prospective Students Class of 2022). Respondents in this study were active students of STIE Wiyatamandala class 2018-2021 and prospective new students of STIE Wiyatamandala class of 2022. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that External Factors, Campus Attributes, and Campus Efforts in Communicating with Students are variables that make students choose Private Universities at the Wiyatamandala Wiyatamandala School of Economics 2018-2021 and prospective students of STIE Wiyatamandala class of 2022-2023

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Standard Operating Procedures on CV. Adhi Jaya Consultant. This study uses a qualitative approach and data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Results regarding the implementation of the seven main points in Standard Operating Procedures. (1) efficiency, there is still waste in terms of working time. (2) consistent, in the implementation of employees it is quite consistent to be guided by the existing SOPs. (3) minimizing errors, training is carried out before carrying out the work. (4) problem solving, the existing SOPs are detailed enough to find the root of the problem if there is a lack of data, but the SOP does not contain sanctions, problem solving, termination of employment and conflict resolution. (5) labor protection, the existing SOP already regulates work safety for employees in the field, but the SOP does not contain detailed rules regarding social security and compensation for employees. (6) work map, the existing SOP only regulates the workflow, where an executor is accompanied by several assistants in their work. (7) defense limits, monitoring carried out every month by the relevant agencies to find out whether the progress of project implementation is in accordance with existing SOPs or not

Abstract

The role of the Internet in the buying behavior of tourists has led to a change in increasingly digital marketing plans. This study aims to find out how hotel industry managers use digital marketing as a marketing tool. In this study, using qualitative methodologies was adopted. Then semi-structured interviews were conducted with managers and marketers from 39 hotels that participated in the study. Digital marketing tools provide many benefits to the hospitality industry. However, managers still haven't used their potential in the realm of digital marketing. Although the data was collected at the end of 2020, we believe that the findings and recommendations are still valid and relevant. This study offers several recommendations to improve the effectiveness of hotel digital marketing in Sumbawa. Although it uses a thematic approach, this article provides an extensive assessment of the range of digital marketing communications in the luxury segment of the hospitality industry. In addition, these estimates are made for all units on a municipal scale.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of Product Quality, Service Quality, and Trust either partially or simultaneously to Saving Intention at PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk Branch Danau Sunter. In this study, we used a purposive sampling technique with 76 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire that was processed with the IBM SPSS Statistics application, followed by data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of Product Quality (X₁), Service Quality (X₂), and Trust (X₃) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on Saving Intention (Y). Partially, only Product Quality (X₁) has a significant effect on Saving Intention (Y). Service Quality (X₂) and Trust (X₃) variables have no significant effect on Saving Intention (Y). The results of the coefficient of determination test (R²) show a result of 0.488, or 48.8%, which means that the three independent variables have an influence of 48.8% on Saving Intention (Y). Meanwhile, 51.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to test and analyze the influence of Organizational Climate and Emotional Intelligence on Work Motivation at PT. Benua Nusa Indonesia Medan. This method research uses descriptive quantitative research with 64 respondents of the total population. Multiple linear regression analysis, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, also the test of coefficient determination (R2) are used in data analysis methods. The conclusion from the results of this study is that Organizational Climate and Emotional Intelligence has a significant effect on employee Work Motivation at PT. Benua Nusa Indonesia Medan.

Abstract

A good higher education institution is an institution that is able to increase employee engagement, in various innovative ways so that lecturers and education staff feel valued and appreciated. Employee engagement in this study refers to the explanation of Schaufeli (2002) which is a motivational condition of employees related to work, which is indicated by enthusiasm, dedication, and absorption. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the comparison of employee engagement on lecturers and education personnel of generations X and Y. This type of research is a comparative descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed online. The samples used were 150 people from various generations of respondents, namely 73 generations and 77 generations Y. Meanwhile, the data analysis used descriptive analysis, classical assumption test analysis, and independent sample t-test to compare. The results ofthe study indicate that there is a significant difference in the level of employee engagement of lecturers and education personnel of generations X and Y.

Abstract

This study aims to determine antecedents and consequences of Employee Performance on Hospitality employees in South Tangerang. The study used quantitative methods with a total of 120 employees using a purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 26 and the structural equation model (SEM) method with AMOS software. The results show that Rewards and Recognition has a positive effect on Employee Engagement. Furthermore, Training and Development Practice has a positive effect on Employee Engagement. Finally, Employee Engagement has a positive effect on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Technology is increasingly coming in and influencing marketing that was previously done with traditional media. The internet is a means for business people to communicate, share information and promote their business. One of the places to buy online is Shopee. Shopee became the top three ranked online shopping app with the highest increase in online shopping demand in Q1 2022. Meanwhile, Shopee is also the most visited application by Indonesians, competing with Lazada and Tokopedia which have been the king of online marketplaces that are most often downloaded on smartphones. This shows that Indonesians today often visit and shop online at Shopee. The purpose of this study is to find out (1) the influence of Word of Mouth on purchasing decisions on the Shopee marketplace, (2) The influence of Digital marketing on purchasing decisions on the Shopee marketplace, (3) The influence of Service Quality on purchasing decisions on the Shopee marketplace. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a total sample of 87 respondents who made more than three purchases. The results of this study show that (1) Word of Mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, (2) Digital Marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, (3) Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the various risks that may exist and the strategies that will be carried out by Mie Bakso Sari Rasa 81 This research uses a qualitative approach and data collection techniques in this study using interviews with UMKM Mie Baso Sarirasa 81 with online meet conference media. The results obtained are the risks that occur most often and become a high-level category in UMKM Mie Bakso Sarirasa 81 are marketing risks and financial risks, namely rising raw material prices and operational risks including the absence of SOPs in the use of production machines, human resources who lack understanding in products expired. To minimize the occurrence of MSME risks, it is necessary to identify and then carry out analysis and management of these risks. Management that can be done is by innovating products, making attractive promotions in online media, looking for other suppliers, making operational SOPs in writing, being selective in recruiting HR and providing marketing training to HR.
