<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is: (1) To measure the effectiveness of video project assignment on student’s‟ speaking skill at SMP YPI Darussalam 1 Cerme. In this study, researchers used a quantitative method approach with a type of Pre-Experimental research with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The research population includes 7th Grade at SMP YPI Darussalam 1 Cerme. With a total of 25 Students. Data collection techniques used are pretest and posttest sheets to determine the effect of use Video Project Assignment on the Learning Speaking Skill. Pretest and Posttest results data are then analyzed by conducting a Prerequisite Test which includes the Normality Test. The result of the research shows that the difference in the speaking skill between the student taught using English Video Project Assignment and those taught not using English Video Project Assignment is significant. By calculations (to = 8.75) and the size “t” listed in the value table t (tt.ts.5% = 2.06 and tt.ts.1% = 2.80 ). Then it can be known that the to is greater than the tt : 2,06<8,75>2,80]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to know how Graphic Organizer Model Effects on Learners Writing Abilities which population of this research was the students of first-grade Mts. Mambaus Sholihin, there were 38 students. In this research, researchers used simple random sampling. The research method was a Pre-Experimental design conducted in one group pre-test and post-test. To analyze the data, the researcher used paired sample t-tests to determine whether there was a significant effect before and after treatment in the Experimental class. The Implication of this research is the Graphic Organizer Method's effectiveness in the students' descriptive writing in first grade in MTs. Mambaus Sholihin. The Originality of this research is that researchers used the Graphic Organizer method for practical Descriptive writing Students. The result showed that the experimental group scores significantly differed before or after being taught the Graphic organizer method. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test with the comparison of the magnitude of t that we get in the manual counting (t0) = 12,59 and the magnitude of t listed in the table of values (t.ts.5% = 2.03), we can know that t0 is more significant than tt .2.03 > 12,59. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted or Ha is accepted, while Ho is rejected.]]>

<![CDATA[Women's leadership has now become a public conversation. Various controversies about women's leadership began to emerge. Even among the fuqoha 'to the Islamic philosophers also debate about the law of women's leadership. This assertive behavior was also found in the head of Pesantren Al-Husna Al-Alawi. This is descriptive qualitative research in which all data and findings will be presented in descriptive form. Sources of data researchers get through the process of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the head of Pesantren Al-Husna Al-Alawi Putri had assertive behavior, which with this assertive behavior made the performance of the board increase. This assertive behavior can be seen from how to lead, communicate, coordinate, provide direction, to give warnings and motivation to all members of the board. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is: (1) To find out the impact of Virtual Reality on writing descriptive text in 7th grade at SMP YPI Darussalam 1 Cerme. In this study, researchers used a quantitative method approach with a type of Pre-Experimental research with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The result shows that the difference in the writing descriptive text between the student taught using Virtual Reality (VR) medium and those taught not using Virtual Reality (VR) medium is significant. By comparing the magnitude of the “t” obtained in observational calculations (to=5.71)and the size“t” listed in the value table t (tt.ts. 5% = 2.04 and tt.ts.1% = 2.76). Then it can be known that the to is greater than the tt: 2,04<5,71>2,76. Because the to is bigger than tt, then the Ho filed were rejected, and Ha is accepted. This suggests that there was an impact on the use of VirtualReality medium on a descriptive text writing of the 7C class at SMP YPI Darussalam 1 Cerme. From the explanation above, the implementation of Virtual Reality (VR) medium in teaching and learning process gives a positive effect on the students. <![CDATA[This research is focused on investigating the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning toward students Critical Thinking skills Argumentative Essay Writing ability of second grade students of MA Raudlatul Muta’allimin Babat Lamongan. It is based on the analysis of the data that gained from the students which related to the teaching writing. The method uses Quantitative approach by using test to know the students competences before and after experiment run. There are two kinds of test were given to the students, they are pre-test and post-test. Before items of the test given to the students, the researcher give try out test to analyze the validity and reliability of each item. It shows that an independent t test from the problem based learning method toward critical thinking, the result was 3,13, the result of independent sample t test from the Problem Based Learning method toward argumentative essay writing was 8,66, and the result from One–Way ANOVA analysis of Problem-Based Learning method toward Critical Thinking and Argumentative Essay Writing showed the score was 5,23. The independent t test from both analyzes were higher than t table with level of significant 5% = 2,032 and the result of One-Way ANOVA was 5,23 higher than F table with level of significant 5% = 4,10. Which mean the Ha from t test and ANOVA are accepted. So using Problem-Based Learning methods in teaching writing have a significant effect towards the students Critical Thinking and Argumentative Essay Writing]]>

<![CDATA[Speaking is one of important skill that we have mastered in English. Its make us easier to get a new friend. Besides, speaking is a difficult skill to be mastered by learners because speaking combines the parts of writing and listening. This research goals at investigating the use of game based learning on students’ speaking skill and students’ speaking anxiety. The researcher used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design by using the validity and reliability test instrument. The population in this research was seventh class grade MTs YASMU Manyarejo Manyar Gresik. Collecting data using a test, one class was given a pre-test before treatment and a post-test after treatment. Then data analysis using SPSS or Manual counting with the formula paired simple t-test. The result showed that the experimental group scores had a significant difference before being taught the game based learning method. It can be said with more than 95% confidence, that the anxiety mean in control and experimental group before using game based learning was not significantly different. Therefore, the results revealed that balancing as a stress-free tool of learning has the potentially of reducing students’ anxiety to improve their speaking skill.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to improve the student’s reading comprehension in recount text by using Concept Oriented Reading Instruction strategy. The subject of this research was 8th Grade of Mambaul Muflihin Islamic Junior High School. The research was classroom action research (CAR). It is divided into pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The writer used test, observation, and interview as the instrument of collecting data. Based on the results of test showed that there was an improvement of students achievement in reading recount text. The mean of pre-test was 47, 82 then, the mean of the first cycle was 56,95 and in the cycle II was 82,60. It indicated that the scores in each cycle was increased and the mean score of post-test in cycle II were better than the mean of the post-test of cycle I. Based on observation and interview showed that most of the students had improvement motivation in learning reading. Moreover, CORI strategy can improve the learning motivation and achievement especially in comprehending recount text. The finding shows an improvement in student’s reading comprehension through Concept Oriented Reading Instruction (CORI) strategy. Thus, it can be concluded that the Concept Oriented Reading Instruction can improve the reading comprehension in recount text]]>

<![CDATA["Merdeka Belajar (autonomous learning) is a term that emphasizes the freedom and responsibility of students in learning. In this regard, English teachers have an essential role in reflecting their professional competence by facilitating an independent learning process for students. It involves providing appropriate direction and guidance and ensuring that students have sufficient access to resources and technology to assist them in learning effectively and independently. That way, students can reach their potential and build the skills necessary to succeed in a competitive global world. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with obsession, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that independent learning is an effective learning process and gives responsibility to students. In addition, English teachers also have an essential role in facilitating the process of independent learning because the professional competence of English teachers determines the success of the autonomous learning process. <![CDATA[Lectures are methods that can be applied in teaching, that is, how to carry out teaching by conveying information and knowledge to students. Student interest in learning in the Nahwu course is a sense of interest in the course without coercion from outside parties, resulting in changes in individual behavior. This study aimed to determine the influence of the lecture method on Nahwu's learning interest in PBA students in the second semester at Inkafa Gresik. This research method is a pre-experiment that uses a quantitative approach. The population of the researchers made respondents amounted 22 students. Tests and questionnaires were used for the data collection. The data analysis used the Likert scale formula and Product Moment. The results of the data analysis show that the application category of the lecture method is "Good.” This is evident from the results of the questionnaire, which was 61.92%, which is in the range of 61%–80%. The category of Nahwu students' learning interest is "High,” as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire obtained, which was 68.46%, which is in the range of 61%–80%. The application of the lecture method influences interest in learning the nahwu of PBA students in the second semester at INKAFA Gresik. This is evident from rxy = 0.765, which is greater than the significance level values of 1% = 0.388 and 5% = 0.496.
