Abstract

This research aims to improve the communicative attitude of students by using cooperative model of kancing gemerincing technique in social studies in high class. The type of this research is in the form of Classroom Action Research. Subjects in this study were 32 students of class V at Selabintana Wetan elementary school, consisting of 20 male and 12 female. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires and field notes. The instruments used were interview guidelines, teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, student communicative attitude observation sheets, student communicative attitude questionnaire sheets and field notes.The analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the questionnaire study at pre-cycle obtained 40,36%, then the first cycle obtained 70,08% and in the second cycle obtained 86,78%. Thus it was concluded the cooperative model of kancing gemerincing technique can improve the communicative attitude of the V grade students of Selabintana Wetan elementary school in the academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

This research aims to describe an increase in the attitude of the national spirit of students through using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model in high school elementary school. The method used is class action research design model chemistry & Mc. Taggart. Participants in this reaseach were 17 students of fifth grade in SD Aisyiyah, Sukabumi City, 2018-2019 academic year. Instruments for collecting data used in this study consisted of interviews, observation sheets, questionnaires, attitude scale (likert), field notes and documentation consisting of 2 cycles. The results of the pre-cycle research on the attitude of the national spirit of students gained 39% classical completeness in the weak category. In the first cycle, the attitude of the national spirit showed 62% classical completeness with a strong category. In the second cycle, the attitude of the national spirit showed 82% classical completeness with a very strong category. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that through the VCT model it can improve the attitude of students' national spirit.

Abstract

This research aims to describe out the improvement of students' critical thinking skills with the application of inquiry model in V grade of primary school. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research and research design used is Kemmis and McTaggart model which begins with planning, implementation and observation, and reflection. The subjects involved 40 students of Srengseng Sawah State Elementary School. Collection data techniques used were interviews, observations, and tests. The results showed that the achievement obtained at the time of pretest implementation is 15%, after the implementation of the first cycle is completed students' critical thinking achievement increased 40% to 55%. This research shows that the application of guided inquiry model can improve students' critical thinking ability in primary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe an increase in the understanding of the science concept through the application of demonstration methods in the low class. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a research design using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models which were carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. The participants in this study were 32 students of class III-B SDN2 Cicurug Sukabumi, consisting of 14 male students and 18 female students. The data collection technique of this study used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. While the non-test technique is in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. In the pre-cycle through the concept understanding test indicators showed completeness of 9% or 3 students who completed. Then increased in the first cycle reached 59% completeness or 19 students completed. While in the second cycle, showed completeness reached 87% or 28 people. students who complete. The overall increase with the calculation of the gain formula scores 0.42 with the medium category. The PTK concluded that understanding the science concept of students in the lower classes increased through the application of demonstration methods.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mastery of students 'English vocabulary which can be seen from students' daily test results. The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to master English vocabulary through media English Vocabulary Card fruit material and body parts. The research method used was Class Action Research with cycle models from Kemmis and Taggart. This research was conducted in two cycles equipped with the use of data collection tools in the form of test results and observation sheets. The learning process using English Vocabulary Card media has a good influence on students' mastery of English vocabulary. The results showed that the use of English Vocabulary Card media can improve students' mastery of English vocabulary. The increase can be seen from the average value of students' concept understanding tests at pre-action, which is 39.5 to 59.3 in the first cycle, so that there is an increase of 19.77 in capacity building. The average value of mastery of English in students in the first cycle was 59.3 to 76.02 in the second cycle, so that it increased by 16.70.

Abstract

               In the process of carrying out the research, researchers looked at the ability of students to learn mathematics in SD Kramat Jati 24 East Jakarta, especially in multiplication counting operations. This condition is caused by a lack of motivation and curiosity of students in mathematics subjects, so that student learning outcomes are still not maximal. To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in calculating operating material using puzzle house multiplication media is the purpose of the study. The method is class action research with the Kemmis & Taggart model. The results of the study obtained an increase in the percentage of KKM achievement from preclusions of 28.4% where in the KKM cycle students only 65.5% got an increase to 78.1% in the first cycle and in the second cycle they got an increase to 94%. This shows that the use of multiplication house puzzles in mathematical counting operating materials can improve learning outcomes and make students more creative and effective. Researchers hope the results of this study can be useful for readers, for teachers, for parents and other education practitioners in guiding students in the learning process.

Abstract

This reseach aims to know influence of integrated learning with nested model with conceptual understanding the perimeter and area quadrilaterals. This reseach was conducted at SD Islam Harapan Ibu Pondok Pinang  academic year 2018/2019. Randomized control group only design is the methode in this reseach. Subject for this reseach are 55 students consist of 30 students of experimen class and 25 students of control class which is cluster random sampling technique from 5th grade. The instrument used to collect data with essay in 8 questions. The conceptual understanding of the perimeter and area quadrilaterals in experimen class that used integrated learning with nested model includes understanding for scoring translation is 82%, interpretation is 85,3%, and extrapolation is 61,3% even in conventional class for scoring translation is 84,8%, interpretation is 79,3%, and extrapolation is 43,8%. The conclution of this research is the conceptual understanding of the perimeter and area quadrilaterals in experimen class that used integrated learning nested model is better than used conventional learning (thitung = 2,10 > ttabel = 1,68).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain information objectively about the difficulties of online-based learning fourth grade students of MI Cibolang Kidul based on the policy to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The approach of this study was decrictive qualitative method. Indirect Communication techniques were used as the instruments of collecting the data with data collecting tools by distributing interviews used Google Form media. The informants in this study were 42 students and only 36 students were filled in. The results showed that the difficulties of online-based learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are very diverse. Various obstacles that make online-based learning difficulties include learning support facilities such as personal cellphones are still lacking, limited access to internet, limited celluler data quota, teacher's explanation is not optimal and the role of parents is very important to assist in online-based learning.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the role of parents during the learning process at home in an effort to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data obtained using the interview method using google form consisting of 10 questions given to informants, namely parents of class V B students and who filled in only 17 informants. the role of parents is really needed in assisting children when learning online. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The conclusion of this study is based on the results of interviews conducted with informants, most parents always accompany their children when the online learning process is done even though there are some parents who work and can not accompany, but communication with class teachers remains well established so that parents can still supervise online learning even though it is not yet fully. as well as their children are considered to be able to do learning at home very well. Parents also feel that through online learning, parents can see their children's development in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the understanding of fourth grade students of SD IT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna in reading stories (2) find efforts / solutions to improve students' understanding of grade IV SD IT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna in reading stories. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection in this research is by test, interview and documentation. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Elementary School, totaling 28 students. While the object of this research is students' understanding in reading stories. The results showed that students who were able to answer questions more than 50% on the indicator (1) Identifying themes in the reading as much as 85%, (2) Identifying the main points in reading as much as 75%, (3) Mentioning the names figures in reading as much as 82%, (4) Identifying the nature / character of characters in reading as much as 85% (5) Mentioning background / place in reading as much as 75%, and (6) Finding information in the text through reading activities as much as 60%. Whereas for students who have not been able to answer questions less than 50%, the indicator (7) explains the mandate / message in the story as much as 36%, and (8) concludes the reading contents in coherent and communicative language as much as 36%. Teacher's efforts / solutions to improve students' understanding in reading stories, that is, teachers do a variety of ways and guide students to practice reading then are identified by students.
