Methods: This is a descriptive study aimed at describing the frequency distribution pattern of Tuberculosis (TB) occurrences according to the variables of person, place, and time using a cross-sectional/prevalence study design approach. The study sample consisted of 159 individuals who were Tuberculosis (TB) patients, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results : show the gender and age group of TB patients. The study found that the majority of TB patients at Puskesmas Kecamatan Matraman were male. The proportion of male TB patients ranged from 55.45% to 67.5%, along with other factors such as lifestyle and environment. Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the germ Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is one of the diseases of the 10 causes of death in the world. Treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis is given in two stages: the initial (intensive) and advanced. BTA conversion at the end of intensive phase treatment is one of the indicators to see the progress of TB treatment. Low conversion can harm public health and the achievement of TB control and eradication programs. This study aims to determine the factors related to the conversion of a positive acid-resistant bacillus (BTA) in Pulmonary TB patients in the Tilango Health Center Working Area, Gorontalo Regency. Analytical type of observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The total sample of 22 respondents is patients still undergoing treatment for at least 2 months at the Tilango Health Center. The results showed a relationship between treatment compliance (p=0.031) and Pulmonary TB Positive BTA Conversion. At the same time, family support (p=1,000) and health worker encouragement (p=1,000) were not present with Pulmonary TB Positive BTA Conversion, and the most related factor was treatment compliance (OR=0.079). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between treatment compliance and positive BTA conversion of Pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Adopting the WHO conceptual framework on stunting in children, the causes of stunting in growth and development are due to household and family factors, including maternal factors during pregnancy or before pregnancy, such as teenage pregnancy. This study uses the 2021 Family Data Collection (PK21) which has been verified and validated in 2022 (PK22), a census conducted by the Indonesian Population and Family Planning Agency . The prevalence of stunting uses data from the 2022 SSGI (Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey). To determine the relationship between age at first marriage and the prevalence of stunting, this study used 38 districts in East Java Province as the unit of analysis. Based on PK21 and verval data, families at risk of stunting are defined as families at risk of giving birth to stunted children. While the dependent variable is selected from data on the number of couples who meet the requirements who are married under age (under 19 years). This research is an observational research that is analytic in nature. Bivariate analysis was performed using Spearman's correlation analysis. From the results of the analysis it was found that there was a relationship between the prevalence of marriage age and the prevalence of stunting in East Java with a p value = 0.005. This means that the higher the prevalence of young marriages in a district, the higher the prevalence of stunting. Therefore, increasing the age of first marriage is a very important measure to end child marriage.

Abstract

Families of patients with violent behavior may experience mental health issues, such as stress due to the prolonged period of patient care and the heavy burden of caregiving, leading to feelings of uncertainty. Uncertainty about the disease becomes more pronounced as individuals confront it for extended period, making one’s life more unstable. The state of intolerance to uncertainty is closely related to the patient’s tendency for violent behavior which is difficult to predict. This study aims to investigate the effect of happy spiritual intervention on intolerance of uncertainty in families of patients with violent behavior. This study used a pre-posttest quasi-experimental design with a control group. Purposive sampling was utilized to recruit 50 respondents who were divided into two groups. The intervention group received six sessions of happy spiritual intervention using the family heart connection (FAMCY) application which included guidelines for implementing the therapy. The collected data were analyzed using a t-test to analyze the effect of the happy spiritual intervention on intolerance of uncertainty in the patient’s family. The results indicated a significant difference in intolerance of uncertainty between the two groups after the intervention was administered (p = 0.001). The intervention group exhibited a lower mean value (70.44) in comparison to the control group (80.44). The happy spiritual intervention has a significant effect on reducing intolerance of uncertainty in families dealing with violent behavior.

The level of knowledge of the respondents was in the good category with a percentage of (64,3%) and self efficacy in the high category with a median of 63,5 (category in score52). The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test showed a significant relationship with a p value = 0,026 and a coefficient value of 0,266).Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of nursing professional students and self-efficacy towards the application of basic life support in cardiac arrest cases.
