Abstract

Limited geography learning media in schools sometimes makes students and teachers do field studies. But this will take quite a long time with high operational costs. This research aims to learn about using the Google Maps application as a learning medium in geography subjects for junior and senior high school students of the same level to understand better the characteristics and location of an area on the face of the earth. This research uses data collection methods related to the topic of discussion in this study, with articles, journals, and books and journals as the primary sources. The data is then reviewed, presented, and described to obtain appropriate and scientific conclusions. The results of the research show that geography learning media through Google Maps can clarify and broaden students' knowledge regarding conditions on the earth's surface so that, theoretically, it will be able to influence students so that their understanding of the material can be more in-depth and lasting.

Abstract

Education is one way for humans to "survive" so they can adapt to the changing eras that are so fast. Therefore, a curriculum is needed that can facilitate the adaptation process. The concept of independent learning liberates education with free thinking and freedom in innovating. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Freedom of Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. A qualitative approach was chosen as the research design, the data was collected using the documentation technique. The analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis related to MBKM at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The results of the data analysis showed that Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo has adapted to the MBKM curriculum, the MBKM program that students are interested in, namely teaching assistants and industrial apprenticeships.

Abstract

Technology-based learning media has an important role in increasing learning motivation and student learning outcomes, one of which is web-based blooket media. Blooket media provides the pleasure of learning while providing learning challenges, activates student learning, and has relevance to the basic values of the independent learning curriculum. This research aims to determine the effect of the blooket media-based team game tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model. on motivation and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education. The research used a quasi-experimental design method with a research population of students at Cimanggung State High School and purposive sampling, the experimental class consisted of 31 people and the control class consisted of 31 people. Data analysis to assess learning outcomes uses paired sample t-test by providing learning outcomes tests in the form of pre-test and post-test, while learning motivation uses Likert scale analysis by providing a Motivation Questionnaire. The results of the research show that the TGT cooperative learning model based on digital blooket media has a higher influence on motivation and learning outcomes, compared to non-digital blooket TGT in Pancasila Education. The experimental class learning motivation interval score was 94% (very high) and the class interval score control was 54% (High) for experimental class learning outcomes was 77% (high) and for control class learning outcomes was 63% (Medium). with a t-test p-value <0.05 (0.000), indicating a significant effect.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to reveal the effectiveness of blended learning on students' intelligence and behavior during the situation of Covid-19 pandemic. The data source for this type of meta-analyst research analysis comes from 25 articles published in indexed journals. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The collection of these journals is related to the discussion of blended learning and intelligence after the learning process takes place. Data analysis uses quantitative data by considering the effect size. The results revealed that the application of blended learning contributed to increasing students' intelligence. This is supported by the curiosity of students in utilizing information technology in the learning process.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is still relatively new in the learning process, where many teachers are still not able to maximize the process of implementing the independent curriculum, especially in the realm of summative assessment for PAI subjects. The aim of this research is to find out what the summative assessment model for PAI subjects in the Merdeka curriculum is so that teachers can better understand the Merdeka curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, where in the process of searching for data for this research, references will be used in literature studies. The results of this research are that the summative assessment model for PAI subjects in the independent curriculum has many steps and studies to be implemented. This research produced eight steps in summative assessment in the independent curriculum, namely (1) competency identification; (2) selection of assessment format; (3) assessment instrument specifications; (4) determining the assessment scale; (5) assessment scheduling; (6) the summative assessment is carried out according to schedule; (7) data processing and analysis; and (8) feedback and reporting.

Abstract

Bullying behavior often occurs in Islamic boarding schools. Based on information from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission, bullying is the most common occurrence in school environments. The aim of this study was to describe the bullying phenomenon that occurs in Islamic boarding schools. The study was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of document analysis. The findings found that bullying which usually occurs in schools also occurs in Islamic boarding schools. The situation of students living in Islamic boarding schools makes bullying more likely to occur. Bullying in Islamic boarding schools is caused by several factors, namely: lack of companions which has an impact on the effectiveness of controlling student activities, negative social environment and being a role model for other students, senior and junior culture, unclear regulations regarding bullying, and lack of training for students in prevention. and management of Islamic boarding schools. This study recommends the establishment of an anti-bullying program in Islamic boarding schools through increasing the number of supervisors, anti-bullying intervention training for Islamic boarding school supervisors, drafting anti-bullying regulations, adapting and expanding anti-bullying, facilities and planning. anti-bullying curriculum, implementing anti-bullying training for students and making students anti-bullying agents in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

State University of Malang (UNM) students who passed the MBKM program selection not only came from the geography education study program but also from other study programs. This will certainly be a new learning experience for them. The aim of the research is to find out whether there is effectiveness of MBKM for Campus Teaching program students after they graduate from the UNM campus. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study was 13 students who took part in the campus teaching program, which was all students who passed the campus teaching program at SMAN 2 Pare. Questionnaire data were analyzed using percentage techniques, while interview data were analyzed using reduction techniques. The results of questionnaires and interviews show that MBKM for Teaching Campus program students is effective after they graduate.

Abstract

Educators often have difficulty delivering effective learning when they have to deal with the diversity of learners in one class, resulting in suboptimal learner learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of differentiated learning strategies on student learning outcomes through a literature review. The research method used is systematic literature review. Data was collected through articles and scientific papers using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Articles focused on differentiated learning strategies and their impact on learning outcomes at secondary and tertiary levels. Articles were selected from 2015 to 2023 using Sinta, Google Scholar, and Scopus. Through identification, screening, and eligibility of articles based on criteria, 16 articles were obtained that met the objectives of the literature review. The analysis showed that 94% of the articles indicated that differentiated learning strategies positively influence learning outcomes. However, it cannot be ignored that 6% of the articles showed that there are situations where differentiated learning strategies do not have a significant impact on learning outcomes in a positive way.

Abstract

The concept of strategic management is the most appropriate way to apply in managing educational institutions. This study aims to describe strategic management of principal's leadership in improving teacher quality at SMPIT Ar-Ruhul Jadid Jombang. The research used a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews and documentation are ways to collect data in this study. The data analysis stage uses data reduction, data display, and inference, The results of the study found that: The strategic management of the principal's leadership is as follows; (Observation of the school environment and outside the school), (formulating and developing strategies through monthly and annual meetings), implementing strategies by means of coordination, socialization, establishing good relationships, and supervision), evaluating strategies through weekly, monthly, and annual meetings). The quality of teachers can be said to be of high quality seen from the factors of teacher sincerity, teacher discipline, and teacher performance. Furthermore, regarding the strategic management of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of teachers by teacher professional development, increasing teacher motivation, supervising, and evaluating.

Abstract

Education in the era of society 5.0 requires students to have significant added value, this problem indirectly requires teachers to have teaching skills with a digitalization system. This research method is qualitative-descriptive with a case study type. The results of the research show that the planning and implementation of added value in education in the era of Society 5.0 is through: 1) Decentralizing education through a performance-based PPDB system in all regions of Indonesia. 2) Reducing bipolarization through MASTAMA and Olympic and event-based career management. 3) Democratic education through the integration of science and technology and imtak curricula as well as madrasah services in the form of workshops and outreach. 4) Community participation through madrasa committees. 5) Agent of change through the use of laptops, strong social attitudes and religiosity, e-learning systems and LMS, and homestay programs. The value-added model is increasing, as shown by the UTBK results in 2021 and 2022. The number of students entering PTN through the UTBK-SNBT route in 2023 was 89 students out of 114 students or 78%, and students entering through the SNBP achievement route was 22 students out of 56 students or 39.09%. The obstacle faced by the teachers is the lack of communication between the school teachers and the dormitory teachers, which has an impact on program delays that require coordination between the parties involved. The solution is for the madrasa director to open a line of communication between the school and the dormitory so that it can work well and smoothly.
