Abstract

This study aims to examine the fundamental nature of human beings, the role of environment and education in developing individual potential, and its implications for societal development. Using a literature review method, this research analyzes various sources from philosophical, scientific, social, and cultural perspectives. The findings indicate that humans, as rational, social, and ethical beings, possess unique potentials that can be nurtured through education, a supportive environment, and moral and spiritual values. Education serves as a key instrument in shaping character, fostering moral intelligence, and preparing individuals to face global dynamics. In the digital era, challenges and opportunities emerge alongside rapid technological advancement and social change. Therefore, a holistic approach is required—one that fosters synergy among education, social environment, and human-centered public policies. A deeper understanding of human nature can help build a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society. The study recommends strengthening character education, reinforcing social and cultural values, adapting to technological change, and promoting policies focused on human well-being.

Abstract

The One Pesantren One Product (OPOP) program implemented at Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah Sukorejo aims to empower the pesantren’s economy and foster entrepreneurship among students by developing and marketing unique products. This study employs a qualitative case study approach to assess the implementation and impact of the OPOP program at the pesantren, focusing on the production and marketing of Beras Pink (Pink Rice). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results reveal that while the pesantren has made notable progress in product development and marketing, it still faces challenges such as limited production capacity, difficulty accessing broader markets, and a lack of digital marketing expertise. The absence of a well-trained managerial team hampers the ability to scale the business, and although community participation is strong, the higher pricing of the products compared to similar market offerings remains a barrier to wider market acceptance. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen managerial and digital marketing skills to fully leverage the potential of the OPOP program. These findings highlight the critical role of entrepreneurial education in pesantren, providing valuable insights into how OPOP can be optimized to empower pesantren communities, ensuring sustainability and broader impact in other pesantren contexts

Abstract

Student character is still a challenge in elementary education, especially related to discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. This study aims to analyze and compare the role of extracurricular choir programs in character building for students at SD Marsudirini BSB Semarang and SD Nurul Islam. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of students, teachers, coaches, and parents. Although both schools have extracurricular choirs, there are differences in intensity, technicalities, program achievements, and support and parental involvement that affect the results of character building for students. The results of the study indicate that the choir program has a significant impact on strengthening student character, especially in terms of discipline, cooperation, and responsibility. Differences in program implementation and intensity in both schools provide variations in student character outcomes. Structured practice activities and teamwork encourage students to build positive attitudes, such as valuing time and personal responsibility. . This study concludes that choir is an effective means of instilling character values ​​in elementary schools and can be a contextual character building model.

Abstract

The phenomenon of beauty privilege is closely related to the standardization of beauty in Indonesia, particularly within the context of the workplace. Stereotypes surrounding beauty privilege assume that individuals who meet conventional beauty standards or possess attractive appearances gain certain advantages, such as preferential treatment, ease in obtaining employment, or opportunities for promotion. However, current trends indicate a shift in perceptions regarding the benefits of beauty privilege. This study aims to explore working women’s perceptions of the evolving meaning of beauty privilege and its role in the workplace. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using convenience sampling. Data were collected through interviews with three female participants from diverse professional backgrounds. The findings reveal that while beauty privilege still exists in certain employment sectors, its advantages are gradually diminishing. There is now a growing emphasis on individual competencies in the workplace, accompanied by a growing awareness that physical appearance is no longer the primary determinant of professional success. One of the positive impacts of the fading influence of beauty privilege is the increased freedom to work without the pressure to conform to conventional beauty standards, as well as greater motivation to develop and optimize one’s abilities. Furthermore, the decline of beauty privilege stereotypes helps reduce social envy among employees. These findings also reinforce the argument that skills are becoming the key factor in the workplace, although physical appearance may still play a supporting role.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the budget allocation policy for the development of teacher pedagogical competence at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Adli Palembang towards the quality of learning. The development of teacher pedagogical competence is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of education. research related to this article using the library research method.This study aims to analyze the budget allocation for the development of teacher pedagogical competence at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Adli Palembang through the incremental budgeting model. This study examines how the principles of incremental budgeting are applied in the context of teacher competence development, especially pedagogical competence, including the budget preparation process, allocation priorities, and their relationship to teacher professional development needs. Abstract

The Society 5.0 era, which emphasizes the integration of technology into all aspects of life, demands a transformation in Islamic education, including in the teaching of religious moderation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital-based religious moderation learning through a literature review approach of relevant articles. Data collection was conducted by selecting articles based on inclusion criteria from databases such as SINTA, Scopus, and Google Scholar, which were then analyzed thematically. The results show that digital-based religious moderation learning holds great potential for internalizing moderation values such as tolerance, justice, and balance, particularly when supported by explicit integration of values into the curriculum, the use of interactive media, value-based teacher training, and project-based learning approaches. However, significant barriers were identified, such as the lack of longitudinal studies, overemphasis on cognitive aspects, technological infrastructure limitations, and the absence of systematic value-based learning design. In conclusion, to ensure the long-term effectiveness of digital-based religious moderation learning, the development of an integrative model that includes critical digital literacy, the strengthening of social values in virtual spaces, and educational policies based on Islamic moderation values is required. This study recommends the need for further longitudinal research and more systematic value-based learning design to support adaptive Islamic education in the Society 5.0 era

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran strategis senjata rampasan dalam perjuangan mempertahankan kemerdekaan Indonesia pada periode 1945–1949. Pasca Proklamasi, Indonesia menghadapi keterbatasan logistik militer dan belum memiliki tentara reguler yang terorganisasi secara utuh, sementara pasukan Belanda, yang dibantu Sekutu, mulai melancarkan agresi militer. Dalam kondisi darurat tersebut, senjata rampasan dari tentara Jepang dan Sekutu menjadi sumber utama persenjataan bagi pejuang Republik, termasuk Tentara Keamanan Rakyat (TKR), laskar rakyat, dan berbagai organisasi pemuda. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan historis-kualitatif dengan menelusuri dokumen arsip dan literatur akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan senjata rampasan disertai dengan strategi perang gerilya yang efektif mampu mengimbangi keunggulan militer Belanda. Di sisi lain, keterbatasan pelatihan dan kendali distribusi senjata juga menimbulkan ekses negatif dalam bentuk kekacauan sipil. Selain mengandalkan rampasan, pejuang juga mengembangkan produksi senjata lokal secara kreatif, seperti di pabrik Demak Ijo dan laboratorium milik Herman Johannes. Dengan pendekatan menyeluruh yang mencakup kekuatan militer, diplomasi, dan mobilisasi rakyat (Gerpolek), perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi luar biasa dalam menghadapi tantangan kolonialisme. Senjata rampasan bukan hanya alat tempur, tetapi simbol resistensi dan kemandirian bangsa.

Abstract

The concept of mathematics will always be found in daily life. The concept of mathematics is then associated with a culture, so it is called Ethnomathematics. Ethnomathematics is one of the scientific research methods that connects an ethnicity with mathematical concepts, this research contains an exploration of what mathematical elements are found in the architecture of the iconic building of Sopo Partungkoan Tarututung City. The purpose of this research is to find out the mathematical elements that exist in the architecture of Sopo Partungkoan. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research that obtains data sources through observations, documentation and interviews related to the Sopo Partungkoan building. This research was carried out at the Sopo Partungkoan Building, Tarutung City in April 2025. The results of this study show that the architecture of the sopo partungkoan building contains a lot of mathematical elements including, Triangle, square, rectangle, parallelogram, circle, coherence and congruence, reflection and fibbonaci concept

Abstract

Building vocabulary is crucial to improving students' language skills, yet many EFL students find it difficult to pick up a wide enough vocabulary using conventional teaching techniques. This study aims to investigate how students view the British Council Learn English platform as a digital resource for vocabulary development. Fifteen Junior high school students who had been active platform users for at least a month participated in semi-structured interviews as part of a qualitative descriptive technique to gather data. Key themes were identified through the use of thematic analysis. According to the results, students thought the platform was helpful, efficient, and interesting for vocabulary development, especially because of its interactive content, contextualized learning resources, and audiovisual elements. Nevertheless, many drawbacks were identified, including the absence of speaking practice and the repetitive nature of the activity formats. These findings imply that although the platform greatly facilitates vocabulary acquisition, more work is required to meet students' more extensive language requirements. To optimize the platform's pedagogical potential and student happiness, educators and developers are advised to incorporate elements that encourage speaking practice, collaborative learning, and content variety.
