Abstract

One component of learning that needs serious attention is learning evaluation. This component must be implemented to determine the effectiveness of a learning system implemented by the teacher, especially to determine the achievement of learning objectives. When viewed from the context of education for children with special needs, especially in vocational-based learning, learning evaluation has great functions and benefits because the results of these activities will obtain updated student profiles related to their actual competence in certain skills. This research was conducted to dig up an overview regarding how to plan, implement, support factors, and inhibiting factors of sewing vocational learning evaluation activities for class XI mild mental retardation students at Pancaran Iman SLB and Terate Foundation C Special School, Bandung City. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that learning evaluation activities for mild mental retardation are carried out through the stages of planning, implementation, data checking, and reporting. The main supporting factors in learning evaluation activities are the availability of positive resources, infrastructure, and parental support. Meanwhile, the teacher's lack of knowledge of student profiles and not yet optimal management of problematic behavior in students with mild mental retardation are the main inhibiting factors found in this study.

Abstract

Gender stereotypes are one of the social issues constructed from the existence of social control in society. Gender stereotypes are not only encountered in social life but are also often depicted in a film, one of which is Yuni's film. Yuni film is a film that raises several social issues related to issues in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to find out the gender stereotypes depicted in Yuni's film. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive type of research. Researchers classify scenes that describe gender stereotypes in Yuni's films into 3 gender theories, namely, nature theory, nurture theory, and equilibrium theory, then these data analyzed using Roland Barthes's Semiotic analysis model. The results of the study obtained that there were 23 scenes and 27 images depicting gender stereotypes in Yuni's film with 11 themes obtained through 3 gender theories, namely 9 themes in nurture theory, 1 theme in nature theory, and 1 theme in equilibrium theory. This shows that the gender stereotype in Yuni's film is not a standard rule but a result of social construction.

Abstract

Good management of working capital will determine the liquidity and profitability of the enterprise. This study aims to determine and analyze the working capital management of PDAM Tirta Komodo in 2018 - 2020 in determining liquidity and profitability. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from the balance sheet and profit and loss statements for 2018 - 2020. Data analysis techniques use the analysis of the ratio of working capital turnover, liquidity ratio, profitability ratio. The results of the analysis show that the turnover of working capital has decreased continuously, resulting in an impact on the company's financial ability to fulfill obligations to third parties, as seen from the acquisition of current ratios and quick ratios that have increased continuously. The decrease in working capital turnover also has a significantimpact on the company's profitability gains, which is seen from the attractive ratio of NPM, ROA and ROE. Efforts to increase liquidity and profitability can be done by: using cash optimally, increasing collection of receivables, reducing inventory collection in warehouses, controlling operational costs, increasing the number of current ICA andown capital.

Abstract

One of the challenges of managing gas from deep-water wells is ensuring that the flow from the subsea does not form a hydrate, which causes the production to stop due to blockage in the pipeline. Injection Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) is the technology used to prevent hydrates formation. The MEG Recovery Unit (MRU) is a system used to recover rich MEG from wells. However, after operating for four years, the MRU experienced a decrease in performance as indicated by lean MEG products that did not meet the specifications, and MEG losses exceeded the specified limit. This study examines the case by taking an effective approach to solving problems by applying the Lean Six Sigma method that focuses on improving product quality and MRU efficiency using Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) framework. The process starts by defining the problem of the MRU system with involves brainstorming consultation to select the root cause of the problem. Classifying and assessing these reasons has been done through the use of various tools, the fishbone diagram, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and the 5 why analysis. The results show that Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools effectively find the root causes of problems accurately and can provide continuous improvement. The quality of lean MEG products has increased with the cleanliness value below NAS 8 and Total Dissolve Solid below 100 ppm. This reduces operating costs to replace filters with savings of $42,000 per month. Meanwhile, MRU efficiency increased from 96% to 98%, and MEG losses reduced from 1500 liters/day to 750 liters/day equivalent to a savings of $36,000 per month.

Abstract

Project execution does not always go according to plan. In its implementation, the construction of the Sleman Regency Public Service Mall experienced additional work and schedule changes according to the first Change Contac Order (CCO) with an overall contract value of Rp. 59,754,713,380.00 before VAT. To control and determine the performance of the project in terms of cost and cost, researchers use the earned value analysis method. The results of the Cost Variance (CV) study of Rp. 5,716,015,091 are positive and the Scheduel Variance (SV) value of Rp. 108,928,282 is positive. This means that the implementation of the project precedes the plan at a cost smaller than the plan. cost performance (CPI) of 1,428 and schedule performance (SPI) of 1,006. So that in the 20th week the project cost performance is better than the plan and the schedule performance is ahead of plan. The estimated value of the remaining time cost to complete the project (ETC) is Rp. 40,701,329,743 and the estimated total value at the end (EAC) is Rp. 54,038,698,289. The data provides information on the estimated cost of completing the project will be less than the budget value. an ETS value of 308,151 days and an EAS value of 448,151 days. This means that it is estimated to be completed quickly 2 days from the planned time of 450 calendar days.

Abstract

This article aims to compare character education policies in elementary schools in two countries, namely Japan and Indonesia and the impact of these policies on elementary schools in the two countries. This article is motivated by the fact that Indonesia is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. This is because Indonesia has not been able to control the number of births in Indonesia. Therefore, efforts should be made to foster creativity by improving the quality of education. This is because Indonesia is a developing country, so it cannot be separated from the process of improving the quality of education. This research is research with research and development method . The implementation of character education in Japan places more emphasis on practice, while in Indonesia it is still dominantly focused on theory. The Indonesian education system prioritizes students' cognitive wealth, such as academic grades, test scores, and other daily test scores. The Indonesian education system does not prioritize affective and cognitive aspects.
